creature so then why don't we find in the curse that part of the curse is your intelligence will be taken away or your your gift of speech will be taken away so what's your alternative answer the alternative answer is well no snakes were not intelligent it just that was a miracle do we ever have a pres do we ever have another case in the Torah where air an animal miraculously spoke by B donkey and what does the Torah say there God opened the donkey's mouth which means the donkey wasn't a thinking preacher the donkey's mouth opened and words came out like many human beings that I know also intelligence whatsoever just that it comes out of the donkey mouth for the impact of the situation so what was a snake either way you turn if that's what happened with the snake so why doesn't the Torah say in other words if he was intelligent the Tor should report that he lost his speech or intelligence and if he wasn't intelligence the should have PR preceded it with okay that's the on the strength of that the Abel says either way you turn you got a problem okay there are answers to that question the plain meaning is that yes the snake was some sort of intelligent creature why didn't the Torah report that the intelligence had taken away don't know but that's that's the plain meaning okay that the snake had a certain intelligence spoke to kava and the intelligence was taken away belongs to me right but what about when you're jealous for some other reason you know we're both uh you didn't take anything away from me your kid got into Harvard I don't even have a kid who wants to go to college I can't stand the fact that you're so happy your kid got into Harbor and it's driving me nuts what are you jealous of you don't even have a kid you certainly didn't take anything away when somebody gets something in their eye they there is all social graces go out the window you will go up to a perfect stranger no matter who it is I you have something in my eye over there and it's less you're going to succeed in any sort of physical Pursuits and any sort of spiritual Pursuits the more spiritual you are the less interest you'll have in something physical but the two are in constant conflict there's a constant clash between them so if you get something in your eye or if you see a South African your eyes become your eyes become irritated it bothers you because your eyes are spiritual and other things are less so and therefore it it actually irritates your eyes no had Godly eyes and a person wants to succeed in life it's a the battle of the eye the battle of working on controlling eyes the gar is that you said the battle between the eyes and the that's what not the battle between that's well known that's well known that the battle between the physical and the spiritual that's there's a battle of the physical versus the Battle of that that that's clear and to the degree that a person in other words in our in our attempt to grow in the spiritual realm our attempt to grow in the spiritual realm will be very much parallel to what we achieve in the physical by suppressing the physical right if if we use the physical as opposed to being dominated by the physical that's what we're giving it for so there's always a conflict between them the body and the Soul are in constant conflict so the the eye the spiritual nature of the eye can be proven simply because it doesn't have any tolerance for the it won't tolerate the physical that's why the eye is the eye is What's called the window into the Nish I'm really I'll get you what say Josh I'm really uh
