Welcome to this week's Torah lesson. This week's Torah portion is part and it's also Shabashuva. And the question is what is this powerful idea of chuva? So the Reb explains and he says what is chuva? He says chuva is something which works in dug. What does dug mean? Normally is a process procedures. When someone decides like it says in the prophets and like it says in the Torah of this week's Torah portion, you want to return to Hashem, you just go straight. You skip all the lines, skip all the waiting and you go straight to Hashem. Why is that? Because chuva has the power and it's called in one second you can come connected to Hashem. Not only that, like the alter says in Tanya, when a person returns to Hashem with tremendous love, we even have the power to take a sin and transform it into something positive. Literally, a sin becomes a mitzvah. So the answer to the question, what is chuva? What's the power of chuva? When a Jew decides whatever situation you're in, you're returning to Hashem. You have the power just to connect to Hashem. It happens simultaneously and all your negative stuff become all positive things. So I want to wish every one of us success in returning to Hashem, doing Shuva, and we'll all be blessed with all the amazing powerful blessings.
