Welcome to this week's Torah lesson. This week's Torah portion is paras. The question of the week is what is the spiritual power of the mana? So in this week's Torah portion, the Torah says in reference to the man. God fed us the mana. We didn't know our ancestors didn't know. Mean there's something new, something powerful with this mana. What is the man? The Reb explains and he says the man is on the level of tal like the verse says and this tal which is the source of the energy for the mana that's the same energy God's going to use to resurrect the dead when Mashiach comes and also this man this tal is also the energy which exists in Torah and that's when it comes to resurrection of the dead it says that God's going to erect the resurrect the dead but raim tremendous compassion. So tal is the level of rah and ramen. But nevertheless, this powerful energy doesn't happen on its own. It happens when we do our work. When we do our part, that's the that causes the towel to come down. So in other words, the fact is the tal there's a big difference between the tal do and rain. Rain requires us to pray to Hashem. Tal is a gift from Hashem. What causes the gift to happen? It happens like it says when we do our work, we do our work complete in this world that will cause this powerful tal that we have the mana which is going to cause the resurrection of the dead to come and create the resurrection of the dead with the coming of Msiah. So the answer to the question, what is the spiritual power of the mana? It's a gift from God.
