Parenting the Rebbe's Way

Today, education [music] is all the rage. Many best-seller books are sold in America and around the world on parenting, on educating. This is in the world in general and by us be frank, there's a very big [music] emphasis today. Everyone's looking to understand how to parent, how to teach. What we would like to present over here today is a revolutionary [music] method of teaching children hiding in plain sight. It's here, it's available for us. For whatever reason, we just didn't see [music] it. This is given to us by the Rebbe. The entire United States, they dedicate a day on the calendar to the Rebbe. The United States of America recognizes the Lubavitcher Rebbe as the educator of society. That's an entire [music] world should be buying the Rebbe's education book, the Rebbe's book on education cuz the Rebbe's the educator. So, what what is this derech and how could it be that we didn't see it? Assuming that there's something here that we don't know. One of the unique features that the Rebbe was mechadesh, that nobody else has ever done besides for Mordechai in the time of the Gezeirah, that the Rebbe was mekavetz hashpa'os. The Rebbe spoke to children. In recent years, come to learn the Rebbe spoke to kids 125 [music] times plus. It's 1,100 plus pages. A cheilek ne'efad of the Rebbe's data. We could publish two volumes of the Rebbe's data, de'os Menachem Chinuch La'Yeladim. The Rebbe made a revolution in chinuch. You would think that that revolution in chinuch should be found in how the Rebbe spoke to kids. You should think that would be a good place to look. This coming year will be 50 years from [music] Shnas HaChinuch. Mivtza Chinuch is not just to do more chinuch. Mivtza Chinuch is a new version of chinuch. After Shavuos Acharei Mos U'Kedoshim [music] and the Siyum of Shnas HaChinuch, the Rebbe spoke about concern of chinuch. And the Rebbe said, "In chinuch in da'as u'be'eifen, you don't have a tzaddik b'fo'al." Wow, this sounds like a good remedy. I would want this as a parent. >> [music]
