we ended last week with the wonderful metaphor that somebody had told me a nurse the image of the father holding down the child who was getting the shot and in one moment the baby's screaming the child is screaming and crying tati Abba daddy let me go help me and a moment later when he releases her because the shot was successful the baby the child runs into the father's arms the very father that seemingly was holding the baby down a moment ago was an accomplice to what felt like torture a moment later is running into the father's arms and that's us what sometimes feels like torture in our lives to realize and recognize that he's our father if we feel like we're being held down if we feel like he's an accomplice to those who want to cause us pain even when we don't understand it even when we are in the throes of it it's all because he loves us [Music]
