if I made pasta or I boiled an egg in a meat pot what is now the status of this pasta or these eggs so we call this meat equipment so you're not supposed to eat it directly with dairy but you could eat it afterwards or beforehand you don't have to wait 6 hours or anything if the pot had not been used for 24 hours beforehand then strictly speaking you could even serve it with dairy but it's in considered inappropriate to cook cook it having that in mind meaning if you had leftovers cooked it to serve at a meat meal and you had leftovers you could actually even eat it with dairy but you shouldn't cook in your meat pot even if it wasn't used in 24 hours with having intent to serve it at a dairy meal the egg is actually a little bit more interesting because you might think that since it's in a shell it might even be more lenient but it's actually discussed in the Shell of the egg is porous and it has the same status as the pasta itself
