We’re used to presenting about kashrut in schools and communities - but this time, we had the opportunity to present to our own OU colleagues. OU Kosher hosted an in-house session for other Orthodox Union departments, sharing how certification works and what’s happening behind the scenes so our fellow team members can gain a better understanding of what goes into bringing kosher food to our community.

real-world kosher scenarios, asked our questions,
and explored resources that support programs
across the OU. It was such a fascinating
experience to see what goes into certifying
the nearly 1.5 million OU Kosher products and
to gain a deeper appreciation for the incredible
work happening behind the scenes at OU Kosher.
