Kosher Kitchen Mishaps - What should you do?

I found a dairy spoon in my meat drawer what do I do now well the first thing really you should do is you should call your Rabbi and the reason is because there's different possibilities as to what might have happened here generally speaking we're lenient in this type of situation the reason being because there's many different seos there's many different possibilities as to how it might have ended up there some might have just uh picked it up and put it back in the WR drawer or it might have been washed but the water wasn't yet the water wasn't too hot that it would cause anything flaks or milkes to happen it's also possible that it was washed by itself and we have a general rule that when something has a kazaka it's started out as a kosher item until we know otherwise we generally will leave it as being kosher therefore uh generally speaking is fine however it is good to speak it over with a rabbi because if one knows for instance that they always wash the utensils in a dishwasher where the water is obviously going to be very hot it will be washed together with the fesa dishes so then they could have technically problems therefore generally it's okay but it's good to speak it over
