why is lab grown meat so exciting we're hoping that once lab grown meat becomes commercially available it'll dramatically lower the price of coia meat what is lab grown meat so lab grown meat is where you take the cells from uh a live animal or a dead animal or even from a fertilized egg and you put it in a serum a blood serum and that helps the cells replicate like they replicate in our own bodies one cell becomes two becomes four becomes five and it grows into a big piece of meat so no one thought of this till now because it's the blood serum that has all the brains that allows the the cells to grow and become the big piece of meat so that's where we get a bunch of our cous concerns number one for it to be kosher it's going to have to come from a slaughtered animal like a certified animal or from a fertilized egg before any blood spots comes out number two it can't sit in a blood serum because we can't eat the blood so it has to come from a non-blood serum number three uh another issue discussed is whether it's flig or not some are of the opinion that it is considered P of that will use position is that is considered fic and will the lab grown meat be available to the consumer in the supermarkets it's anyone's guess what do you think let us know
