Are you allowed to cook in the sukkah?

One should not cook in their sukkah. A sukkah,  aside from it being a place where you live for   the week of Sukkot, it also has kedusha, it's a  holy place. There are certain activities that one   should not do in their sukkah. Included in that  is cooking. Not only that, but after you cook,   there's a question of can you bring a pot of food  to the sukkah? Some poskim say if it's normal way   during the year, you bring a pot of soup to your  dining room table, and then you could do that in   a sukkah as well. But most people who would bring  out bowls of soup, they don't bring their pot to   the table. Then they should not bring the pots  into the sukkah either. One shouldn't even have   dirty dishes in their sukkah. As soon as you  finish eating, you should clear away the dishes.   One shouldn't have a garbage can in their  sukkah because of the kedusha of the sukkah.
