You don't have to arrive at a kadosh bud the same way your father and grandfather. As a matter of fact, you won't because you're different. Each one of the abot had a particular spiritual neural pathway to akadoshu that differed. Yizuk's way to akadoshu differed from his father and Yakov differed from his father and his grandfather. And that teaches us a tremendous lesson, a tremendous lesson that we're not robots. We are individual people. We have our own minds. We have our own nishas. We have our own spiritual dimension. And therefore although there is a composite hold of guidelines which are called to mitzvot the individual way of getting there can differ and it's completely legitimate.
