What's the purpose of Mashiach? Why do I need Bikdash? Mashiach, why do I need it? Mashiach anyway is going to die and that itself is temporary. And the Rambam explains an interesting idea. The purpose of Mashiach is to create an ideal world where more people will do more mitzvot and therefore God will give them more. This is a very amazing idea. Now if you understand that idea now you understand even in a limited sense because here's the point that only helps the people that are alive when Msiah comes but all the people that died earlier seemingly don't get that opportunity answer they come back for a while they're given another life of resurrection is simply a way of enabling those earlier generations to partake in the blessings of your moto mashik.
