[Music] to all my dear fans students friends uh today uh I was a little bit of a tough day I had to um attend a funeral of a dear friend I mean although it via Zoom needless to say it was still very difficult uh so so tonight's sh will be for Ben benaa raises higher and higher for all the he did all we have benefited from uh and the whole world did also for for Leah Janine SAR Leana David benis B oshri benis Aviva bsar Angela Aviva David Ben aiva Michael Ben aiva M sanaam Stefan Ben Karina Jonas Ben Sher Haley and also for for sh faran benis gab Ben and all of is especially the ones that help us donate generous do whatever they can to uh to help us get closer and closer to so we sit here today uh you know was a uh tough tough messages come every day but uh sometimes they're tougher than than even the tough and very dear friend of mine Shalom he uh he passed away today uh this morning and um really uh like to connect some of the that we have to really even just knowing him I um although him and I never met you know face to face uh we've talked quite a bit of times he although he was a himself and a serious he wasik you know so for all of those uh uh people from kabad I think that I ha kabad it's quite the opposite I actually have some friends from there but only the ones that are normal and good and sadik and really that was what what he was he was one of the uh past Generations kabik the ones that were serious sikim the ones that uh really the foundation uh was built on uh you know today's kabad has unfortunately several different parts and but the foundation that built kabad and got kabad to where it is today as far as uh you know the uh you know the many locations the uh you know uh billion dollars or so a year in donations and so on all of that was not that is simple but uh meaning they didn't necessarily uh do like a lot of people do today which is just focus on learning the T and just things from many of them were experts in sh and Po and and uh really extraordinary and uh that was actually one of the things that I truly appreciate about about my dear friend Abraham zel that uh um he wasn't just a uh be in but he was also in you know in many other things he knew a lot of a lot of he actually knew some things both inish as well as Safari a few times he brought me sources from the benishai uh you know and uh quite a few other where you know what one thing that always amazed me is the humility that he had with we would tell me listen that uh you know he would say this seriously but it was always hard for me to understand him and many other uh serious tell me that tell me the same thing but they say listen he says you're part of my li every week I said why do you learn my what do you mean he said I watch your lectures I watch your lectures every week uh and every time you would watch a piece of lecture you would tell me listen I haven't completed this one yet but so far good job on this and I have a question on that or I have a commentary on this or you know different things and he would really like give me like live commentary on my lectures and you know when regular average people uh that are new to Judaism or perhaps not not uh very uh devoted to tah when they make their own opinions their own uh uh uh commentaries if you will on the things that we mentioned I don't take it personally ever it's a uh I think sometimes the people's commentary is silly but I don't take it personally but uh I also don't take it uh as seriously uh when somebody uh tells me he doesn't agree with the rambam or he doesn't agree with some G that I mentioned as a source that says something is allowed or not allowed uh because you know when a person doesn't devote their life to toah I mean they don't understand what they're judging and what they're criticizing but when tell me that they actually watch my lectures and they have commentary on it I I pay pay very close attention to it uh because I know that these people are devoting their life to tah these people are uh you know dedicating every moment of their life to it and they know what they're talking about and many times have gotten great advice and different sources from different that I've uh you know become friends with over the years with fantastic sources and and opinions and uh and and even sometimes telling me Oh listen over here there's something you said that's incorrect uh and they'll bring me a source for it and obviously we view it if they're right we correct it uh but the point is is that with with Rabbi zel he was uh one of those unique people he had a lot to say and he would send me these long messages and he was one of the only few people I would listen to such long messages because he had some good stuff to say so uh I would listen to his messages and um you know was just one of those people that you see that is he was just completely infatuated with the Torah and he he he loved it and is a just like David says uh that every he learned from everything and that's why would always say I learned from everything doesn't matter if it's a new person old person young person old person doesn't make a difference if it's Torah it's Torah and he was a very big uh supporter of of uh giving you know giving to people that doing K in every way that he could and um that was just that's definitely going to be something that I miss um you know because it's the world today is so upside down that unfortunately most people from from from kabad today are uh virtually disconnected from the real Foundation of kabad uh and unfortunately sometimes the real Foundation of Judaism altogether because they've God ified a uh you know their former rebi they have monetized the the teachings and really worry about money more than uh more than necessary and uh more than really even allowed uh to the point where you have countless stories uh that are really awful whether it's uh something uh as ridiculous as forcing their Kaa to to remodel their house which is a story that happened not that far from my house some crazy rabbi forced his K to you know uh uh fix his house and his kitchen and so on uh the poor people actually did do it at the end uh to some rabbis forcing their Kila members to buy everything from them like to fill in and muo even if they have perhaps better uh opportunities elsewhere uh or different things like that the Ridiculousness which we don't necessarily need to get into but obviously these stories come from you guys that you sent it to me and from all over the world you guys send me these stories and every story breaks my heart but it it happens and unfortunately there's a lot of those stories and we've spoken about them before but really the the stuff that we don't talk about anywhere nearly enough is the realing within and within in General within in general that are just pure that all they care about is T is the is T and and T and and it doesn't matter which way it comes if it comes with a black and white or it comes with a hat or without a hat with a beard or without they just love the to and that's really the real Foundation ofab that's the real Foundation of and uh you know so when you lose somebody like that it's a really a tragedy for us it's really a tragedy for us I mean I know that is in a better place a place that you know he's going to reward him for all of the beautiful Tora he that he learned and taught throughout his life that's not our concern the concern is that you're seeing that in a relatively short period of time whether you want to count this year being the corona year or you want to look at a the last decade or so uh so many good people so many have left this world in the last 10 years and it's like wow what an orphan generation kazal told us that we're Hashem wants and unfortunately many times today we judge you know harshly uh we judge Judaism harshly because of individuals and in essence so harshly that because one Rabbi or two rabbis or a thousand rabbis did something terrible or bad or whatever it is therefore we say Okay so we're no longer going to listen to any Rabbi even if it's a rabbi it's not a associated with it even if that Rabbi is you know even if that Rabbi lived 50 100 500 a th000 years ago no I'm only going to listen to what's in the Torah and what I understand they don't call themselves carites but in essence they have that type of an attitude a carite that you know claims to follow the Torah by simply following the written law and there's nothing more ridiculous than that and even more ridiculous than that and and more harsh than that is when you have uh people uh publicly uh uh um insulting our sages our not by saying uh you know bad words or calling them funny names or anything like that but rather by treating them as if they're just like you and just like me and just like him and just like anybody and says something very harshly about such people he says that the uh the uh the sages from 15600 years ago the said that the previous generation thead the previous generation sages we not they weren't talking about they weren't talking about they were just talking about the previous generation he says there those previous generations rabbis they were like angels and if they were like angels we are like men but if they are men then we are donkeys and this is who's saying this some of the greatest sages that ever lived are saying this about the themselves they're saying that their rabbis and their rabbis rabbis are angels if we would consider ourselves men meaning them being men okay and if but if they are men if those sages are men they said that we're donkeys but not even the donkeys that are able to keep Shabbat like one of the sages had a donkey that kept Shabbat no no we're we're donkeys that don't know anything now the Ben come and he says anyone that thinks that even his own Rabbi meaning the rabbi from his own generation is like him for sure is a donkey so when someone comes out today and simply publicly disagrees or discounts or insults uh or disqualifies or does anything to less than complete honor and respect and fear of the words of the sages from the previous gener ation that is a uh not only a mistake it's a tragedy because it's a person that is a donkey that thinks he's human it's a person that doesn't know what he's talking about but yet claims to know it all and this is actually part of the damage that we have today where people do not have they don't have any faith in our sages uh and what ends up happening is that they decide the law according to their likings like if it doesn't make sense to them then they just go somewhere else and many times when we quote things and we mention things in the name of the sages and name of the Torah itself people simply if they you know uh you know if they agree with it great but if they disagree with it they uh will do everything and anything possible to uh to disprove it and to go against it and so on so when a person that valued the sages and is actually one of the few people that I know that had real leaves the world we see that in order to have you yourself have to be a little bit you can't just have and and be completely ignoramus you know to have have faith in our sages you yourself have to have a little bit of wisdom and the reason why this is very important is because the that we have tomorrow night the kanuka that starts that begins tomorrow night uh really is is one of those holidays where people you know don't understand why we're even having it because most people that celebrate kanuka they've heard the story we had the mabes and maybe there's a few songs about the mabes and Everyone likes the uh all the food that that uh makes you know with oil and it's delicious and so on but in reality if you ask your average Jew today especially secular Jews or Jews that are unlearned even if they consider themselves religious yes give me give me an explanation of the foundation of of of the holidays the Jewish holidays whichever one you want person will look at you what they all the holidays have in common said yeah it's very easy what are they what are they default you have you have you have a lot of other things you're learning to every day but you have to also be zealous about those mitv to protect them to honor them and to make sure that you are living with those MIT day and night and when a person today you tell them listen you have to do an extra prayer for the holiday and you see that that person is a little frustrated as a result of that you immediately understand that this person at the best case scenario doesn't really understand what Judaism really is about at the worst case scenario he's a he's one of these people that already has become more Greek than Jew even though he may wear a she may wear and all that stuff the exterior is not really as relevant as it used to be because today the exterior is uh is perhaps one of the most leading misleading things that you can possibly have right now there is a organization that uh calls themselves Israel Bible center that is a Christian hardcore Christian organization that supposedly teaches tanak okay now in essence they don't call it like the traditional Christians where they teach the New Testament about Yos and so on no they call themselves as they teach the whole tanak in Israel now you would say wait how could this be what what are you guys doing in Israel why don't you go to America why don't you go to Africa why don't you go all these places where there's a lot of green no no they specifically want to do it in in Israel they specifically want to do in Israel why because their whole purpose is to missione now why am I highlighting this organization versus others because one of the keys to their success one of the the the traps the Mal that this this organization has is they somehow have manipulated and confused and have simply bought Thea of several Orthodox Jews that have decided to become part of their faculty now I'm not talking about Jews that are uh you know secular anti-tat atheists I'm talking about from the appearance from the appearance as far as the looks hardcore Orthodox Jews with the keepa with the beer with you see in the first part you have this one woman called fed Shapiro that has a a tower on our head looks like wow what a religious woman this woman is and she works for Christian organization which by default means they're missionaries so she is part of their faculty and in our bio it says that she's a lifelong learner of the New Testament how can you be a Orthodox Jew while at the same time being a lifelong student of the New Testament and work for a a a Christian organization uh then you have some other people with uh Hebrew names but you have also some people that unfortunately unfortunately are Orthodox Jews on their faculty and uh different people that uh are uh contributing to them uh and it's really tragic where you see that this uh the the guest Scholars that they have and so on are contributing to a Christian Missionary organization that does not hide its message they're not hiding they're not even calling Yos Yeshua like the like the uh the uh modern day Messianic Jews which are in essence Christians in Disguise they're not even disguising it they're calling him the full name that we're not even allowed to say because so has so much Tuma in it and yet they have found some foolish Jews that are considered religious by appearance to contribute to their cause to teach alongside with them this is another form of because this is another form of becoming Greek where you adopt the rules and the and all of the things of the non-jews and especially the ones that are trying to destroy you uh and uh but yet you want to keep up face and you still show up the synagogue now one of the things that people are going to tell yeah what's wrong with them teaching the uh the go what's that wrong with them with teaching uh the Jews about the tanak because if it's coming from a Christian first and foremost you're not allowed to learn it you're not allowed a Jew is not allowed to learn from a Christian there is no permission to do that he's not even allowed to you know if that Christian is a religious Christian is teaching about religion and so on it's forbidden completely in fact you're not even allowed fullblown Christian that tells you he's looking to get you closer to his Jesus to his Idol so this is completely fidden so how come this uh these Jews that are working for this organization and other uh Christian organizations how come all of these Jews at uh Jewish Federation or APAC or uh or or or other places how come they're they feel perfectly comfortable working with the Christians and actually helping their cause if you will why the reason simply money respect all that stuff that's but how do they justify religiously By ignoring the Sages simply ignoring what the sages said to the point where they become oblivious to it and just looking for some Sage that perhaps said something that may be translated and interpreted in some upside down way to allow him to do what's forbidden according to the Torah and the reality is we have quite a bit of that and part of the reason why we have quite a bit of that is because just like said in his one of the he writes that The Liberation from the Greek enactments resulted in a cancellation of the anti-jewish edicts because really what the Greeks were trying to do is just simply destroy the toah they didn't want to kill Jews just either cheating everybody in business or spending their lives watching sports and all types of things that are antithetical to our religion antithetical to our foundation so these hellenists the freedom from their power however does not imply that was released from the problem that was caused by these helist by these indeed the hellenists did not disappear their influence hutner says their influence and their presence was felt in successive Generations according to the style of each generation until today I add until today this does not change mean meaning that these hellenists these public they look like they are uh uh you know people that are innovators and and peaceful people in reality they are 100% helist 100% helist And it's not a uh it's not a mistake or coincidence that jelly jelly once a day not say that's your food for the week no meaning you're eating normally you're drinking normally you live in a nice house normally you have a nice car normally like you have the someone that's righteous and continues to grow in righteousness to stay with someone that's wicked intentionally over an extended period of time in the beginning they should try to get them to join them teach them have patience with them and and and uh and try to uh get them to be on the same page as you that's the that's recommendation number one but if you see that two three four years have passed and not only has this person uh not become more righteous but they've actually deteriorated or they stay the same while you've improved uh you know a world apart you won't you know it's it's obviously at that point the relationship is going to make no sense whatsoever you're not going to have anything to talk about you're not going to have anything in common anymore so uh the relationship plants there's most of the world has a abundance of water there are obviously people that are in place where their water is scarse and in that particular case you have a case you have have a uh you have to uh maintain the water and in some cases there's certain parts of the world where I could even tell you that uh you would be absorbed from washing your hands Al together with water but rather you could just uh go like this and uh to because water is so scarse that you cannot use it for you should only use it for drinking but uh that's very rare uh situations and I don't think there's any Jews living in those places if you're living in a place like North America or in Europe and many other places where the more modernized world it's very likely the water is abundant and I would not establish the New Testament is nonsense at the same time those same documents those same lectures will show a person that there is a document from God it's called the Torah and so that will give them a uh number one the information to get rid of their pre-existing beliefs and number two a foundation for their new found beliefs if you will uh so at the very least they have something to start off with and and and uh and get them to understand why they need to become a no height at least so those few lectures are uh are a good starting point and of course once they watch those few lectures then or they get a fender bender or they lose money or whatever it is like what what did I do what did I do and sometimes they really didn't do anything in this life to deserve that punishment but rather they did something in a previous life and Hashem enjoys their chuva so much and how they're doing in this life so much he says okay you know what you're doing so good let me start cleaning you up in this life that you're in in order for you to finish this life and not have to suffer at all in in the next life for the previous sins so part of the reason the biggest part of the reason of why hasem brings a person into this world again is in order to give them suffering as a form of payment for the previous life but also as a form of rectifying those sins so he'll send a person that sinned with one girl that he wasn't allowed to be with he'll send it the same girl reincarnated at his reincarnation time or send the same girl to the same guy you know in his new life and he'll expect him to overcome that sin and not sin with her and if he does that then he won't get punished He'll Do complete CH and in fact page 86 says that a person that does Chua out of fear of the Almighty which is a fantastic fantastic chuva that the uh um the says he only wishes that the the religious and his gener ation would do CH from Fear the says people do from Fear it turns all of their purposeful sins into accidental sins which means it lowers the punish punishment dramatically but the says if a person does chuv out of love of hem which is a higher level of chuva uh then it could turn all of their sins into mitv into MIT and that could even turn the sins of the previous Carnation into MIT meaning he could get rewarded for sins he made because of how high is is chuva is or how high heart chuva is in this world but that means that they have to not only have uh there's no such thing as just loving AEM that means they have to arrive at the highest level of fear of AEM and then they're starting to love AEM so what the explain is that it's never truly just 100% love it's either only fear or a combination of fear and love but needless to say all chuva is good and all Chua is going to clean a person up from a uh from his uh from his sins uh but again Chua is not just a uh learning a little bit and uh being a nice person Chua also means that a person needs to do a lot of different uh all types the more the best in so many words my Rabbi told me this once uh recently um he said when when uh when Rabbi Ali came to us and told us that the situation in is disastrous uh and uh because the point is is that uh we're not exactly big fundraisers or anything so you know we live on Miracles so when donations go down go down when they go up they go up either way we still do what we need to do but when Rabbi Ali came to us and said listen we need to do you know something to to help these girls there's literally 400 plus girls in a community that are you know in in Jeopardy of of of you know completely going off to De so we analyzed how much it's going to cost to do it we're looking at somewhere in a neighborhood of $20,000 uh a month so it's a big expense and again we don't have we we didn't have enough time to wait for donors and so on so we just okay we do it or not so I said I told RAB let me think about it let me think about it and uh I spoke to I want to speak to R FR alone and I told him listen I want to do it but I mean it's it's is this really our mission that we need to do it and so on so told me this and I think he only told me the same thing once in my life other than that he said listen none of us know none of us know how long we're going to be here none of us know none of us know if going to be tomorrow if going to be in a year from now none of us know some certain things but we also learned from uh uh from this week's par uh that we're introduced to the uh 12 tribes they they were righteous they were sikim they were amazing uh but we also see in thear that uh the leading opinion is that the uh 12 tribes the 10 of them had to uh or nine of them 10 of 10 of them had to be reincarnated as the 10 Martyrs that were uh the biggest sadik R AKA and uh and many of theim that were murdered in Cold Blood and in vicious ways at the time of the where theim would literally peel their bodies sell their meat in the market and so on and so forth the worst possible days death that could ever uh be in this world they they got and say that the these Martyrs these 10 Martyrs were the 12 tribes were the the the you know yud and and so on and so forth why would it why would theim are aot are 12 tribes have to be reincarnated they were complete Sim why they have to be reincarnated because we find out that at the end of that story that YF ysf died 10 years before his brothers he uh died at age 110 unlike his brothers that died at 120 and say that that's because he never he got punished for not forgiving his brothers he got punished for not forgiving his brothers uh but uh so he got for it how did they get punished for him not forgiving them they had to be reincarnated because he never completely forgave them says they had to be reincarnated they had to be reincarnated as the 10 Martyrs so that means that although they were extremely righteous and they did chuva and they said I'm sorry part of that Chua required a reincarnation part of that Chua required a reincarnation but surely they didn't have the same test in the next life as they did in the first life but point being is that uh sometimes reincarnation is
