as I walk through the hall and Arata building each morning I feel so excited to start a new day I love it has like my home Sarah what do you love about it I love the wonderful teachers Sophia what do you love about it I love the amazing chips [Music] a graduate of a better the way I picture it is a woman who's complete that's able to look at the world and say I could take it on with the education that I got from my teachers and throughout the 15 years in order no matter where the girl comes from at the end of the day they need to be inspired to do what we want them to do through loves through songs the school gives you the tools and they give you whatever you need to do your best and to grow to be the best person that you can be everything is done through care and love and everything is done so well nothing is done just by chance is built on three pillars on the first pillar is the rouhanayu the spirituality the second pillar is the social emotional pillar and the third pillar is the academics we're really passionate about every one of those three pillars foreign [Music] even girls who are growing up in a religious home from birth need to be inspired we want to ignite that spark in their heart and let it burn bright how do we accomplish this we have programs like adef Shabbat comes it one very beautiful course that we have in the high school is which is a 12th grade course and it's really getting them prepared for the next stage of life every singleadesh we have a guest speaker we spent my name is choosing someone to come every single month this month we had Rabbi yadir we often discuss how impressive it is that when the girls learn something the next minute they're on how to apply it foreign we all know how important social emotional development is if a child is not feeling happy or not feeling happy with themselves they can't learn here at Sarah we are constantly creating new programs we have a beautiful program called this program teaches the girls amazing skills and tools for life they have amazing extracurricular about whether it's production everyone gets to shine in their talent we created a growth mindset program where we teach the kids that they can do anything they want with it will determination we also work together on a seven habits program where we teach the kids these amazing skills that they'll use for life we teach the children how to work through thoughts and feelings they literally love us like their children can have a relationship with our teachers not a teacher comes in and leaves she she could talk she could talk to her after class you can answer her questions what I love about everything is that every teacher and staff member cares about each and every student like their own and the warmth of their smile brightens their day first thing in the morning is standing at the door Wishing every single kid a good morning [Music] what stands out in the academic side is that we appreciate creativity and open-mindedness and our curriculum we follow the New York State guidelines for Regions diploma Advanced designated regions diplomas we have one program once a week so we call them life skills development courses and the girls can choose from courses like art crochet or knitting we have hair styling girls can look to see what creative abilities they might have that they would want to pursue later on in life a few years ago we were offered photography and I took that club and I really think I benefited a lot from it because I'm going to think I'm going to go into it if a girl is not highly academic then she can be encouraged to go in that Avenue is not just in giving you a good time it's not just giving you a nice education we're trying to find every girl something special that maybe will help you through your future and we give it to you [Music] foreign [Music] told me the other day he spoke to the 12th graders he tells them girls tell me about the school they kept on saying the best school wonderful grade they give us everything that we need best teachers the highlight of my week would be the Shabbat table when my grandkids would get up and share what they learned I realized how much they were learning is such a warm place like you just come in and everyone's just greeting you with a smile everyone's friends with everyone I'm whacking another outside for many years now the love and the warmth that they give their students is unbelievable I'd like to inform everybody of the wonderful work that orot Sarai is doing how important it is to give our daughters the proper Jewish Education the girls are so happy there it is truly an honor to have this school part and parcel of our community should help us to continue to reach our goals for all my teachers That Built Me Up throughout the years and maybe who I am in person that I am really really thank you something I love about it is that it's not just built for education then Hands-On capabilities prepares for the future while also building and shaping our personalities that's when I surround the best thing about it is a principle they're so involved I love Alexa is my home away from home I love it here so much [Music]
