V'sein Chelkeinu- Song Release

Vsein Chelkeinu B’Sorasecha. We ask Hashem to help us access our part in the Torah. We all feel this feeling at some point. Whether it’s after Neilah on Yom Kippur, and the Kedusha of the day is radiating on each person’s face. We want to hold on to that Kedusha for the rest of the year. Or the joy we feel as we dance at a Hachnasas Sefer Torah. Holding the Sefer Torah close to our hearts, yearning to keep it there, near our hearts. That yearning that we have of Vsein Chelkeinu B’Sorasecha is a universal feeling. But there are thousands of Yidden out there in the world who don’t even know of this feeling. Who don’t even know that they have a part in Hashem’s Torah. Oorah is here to help those Yidden see, Vsein Chelkeinu B’Sorasecha, we all have our own special part in Hashem’s glory. Lyrics: I stand in white On the holiest day Overcome with deep emotion Day turns to night And You're slipping away My heart won't let me go This is who I want to be I want to stay here with You all year long Together we stand Having come to take part A parade all in Your honor Sefer Torah in hand Oh, the joy in my heart When I dance, I dance with You This is who I want to be I want to hold You this close all year long V'sen chelkeinu b'sorasecha Can I be part of Your Glory? Your Torah, my treasure For now and forever I want You a part of my story This is who I want to be When I feel it, I feel 'me' V'sen chelkeinu b'sorasecha Can I be part of Your Glory? Your Torah, my treasure For now and forever I want You a part of my story This is who I know is me May it always be this clear for me to see They stand in white On the holiest day Overcome with deep emotion I stand outside But as I turn away My heart won't let me go This is who I want to be I want to find this world I know is mine On the sidelines I stand Wishing I was a part A parade all in His honor I watch in a trance Feel the joy in their hearts As they dance, I yearn to join This is who I want to be Can I taste this joy you say is mine? V'sen chelkeinu b'sorasecha Can I be part of Your Glory? Your Torah, my treasure For now and forever I want You a part of my story This is who I want to be When I feel it, I feel me V'sen chelkeinu b'sorasecha Show me my part in His glory The Torah you treasure A life of forever I want you to rewrite my story This is who I know is me When I see you I see who I want to be V'sen chelkeinu b'sorasecha I want to speak of Your Glory To share of my treasure To share my forever I want to rewrite someone's story This is who I want to be When I feel it, I want the world to feel with me
