Oorah-thon: 4x Auction Winner

Okay. Thanks so much for coming on tonight. So, you uh as I understand are an actual uh radio thon prize winner and and what exactly did you win? We uh we actually won a few things over the last few years. At at one time or at a different time? Uh different years. Actually, we won four different four different years. Four different years you have won the URA radio thon. That's great. Yeah. Oh. Oh my goodness. And and what did you win? Um, let's see. I think the first time we won the silver the silver prize, silver package. Uhhuh. We uh then won the mink coat, which actually the fur coat, which actually was my prize, but my wife insisted that I give it to her. Uhhuh. Well, uh you know, as long as you work that out and you're okay because uh Yeah, the argument didn't last too long. Maybe about 10 seconds. Okay. And what else did you win? Uh let's see. We won the uh the furniture dining room set actually. Okay. And then um once uh later we actually won the living room the couches. So essentially your house is pretty much furnished uh by URA. Yes. Toothbrushes you can see in our bathroom. So you won four different times. I mean that's that's amazing. I mean uh did you put in again this year or do you figure lightning won't strike in the same place four times? We're hoping it'll it'll come again. Yes, we uh we put in some money as well. Bought a bunch of tickets this year as well. Oh my goodness. If you can now be honest with me. Uh no one's listening. Um do you have a a a relative or someone in the URA office and that how you uh actually managed to win every year? No, we just we just we're just uh very fortunate, you know, we're getting big brothers from the w that that is amazing that you have that you have actually uh uh won now. Now the first time I mean how did you hear we always like to ask like did they wake you up in the middle of the morning? Did you find out a week later? How did you find out that you had won the prizes? Yeah, the first time it was tremendous, but we didn't hear except from a friend of a day or two later. Uhhuh. And then and then let's say the the fourth time, you know, when I figured by that time you're like, "Yeah, we probably didn't win again." And then and then what happened? Um yeah, this time we actually went on to the website and saw her name there again. It was unbelievable. That is that is that is unbelievable. And and good for you uh for for keeping to to put in and support URA and you know, you have the masle uh that you won. But uh just to list to you know guess let the other people out there know that people can win and and I guess even if you won already uh the me you know the lesson that you're teaching us here is that even if you you won you can win again and again and again and again win you can win Okay.
