know gators riding back and forth you know you know things like that you know other than that you know it's a very peaceful and quiet time and uh you know i'm gonna miss it in a certain sense but on the other hand i keep getting requests you know come to my camp but every time they want me i run i used to run night activities and plays so whenever they wanted me i wasn't available and then this year i decided you know what i'll try it for one year to stay home and i sent my son right by mayer yes just released a brand new cd yes a brand new cd a couple of weeks ago it's called rags and riches and also he's very talented in storytelling also obviously because that's his tape scd and also he can do night activities also so i'm not leaving them dry you know what i mean okay so you know uh you know if they want banners for me so then i guess they'll hire me and i'll draw in the city and i'll bring it up or whatever but uh you know hashem you know uh the abish defeats the belt he runs the world and i guarantee you that i'll do okay because everybody else has to do okay i have an uncle all of a sudden he used to always say i'll translate in english first and then i'll say it neither okay so much better than english no problem it's good and it'll always be better this is git that's events my uncle always said that and you know what he's 100 right all right here we go your big mouth and the engagement of your son yes my son israel he's uh you know the he besides learning all day he also does the show yes he does the live game show and you can check it out online was because he was doing once a bass mitzvah he was playing by and he saw somebody doing a show and it didn't have either so he said why not make something so he came up with a live game show with hidden and it's doing very well from what yeah yeah it's a very big very big hit he's been doing it over eight years or something by your daughter yes yes indeed now one of the things i've always wanted to ask you i mean i remember seeing you paint banners and camped over that right right and the signs in front of the show hawaii production right right when did you realize that you had the talent to act to mimic to paint well it's a very interesting story but that's not the story i'm going to tell but there is a story there is a story i'm going to tell after but this particular little story is when i was young i used to go i used to live in east new york then i used to come to borapa to stay by my cousin's house let's say sometimes a shabbos or a circus or something like that and you know when you're sleeping you know it's not like sleeping like going to sleep it's like in camp you know go to sleep so my cousin used to say i bet you can't do this and i said okay let me try it and he would you know do some voicing and say hello who were you and i would say hello how are you then he would try hi how are you and i would go hi how are you and eventually it came that i was doing more voices than him so i realized that i had that talent then what happened was is also everything is you know divine i left east new york eventually i moved to borobud and somebody introduced me to borrowport okay so somebody introduced me in borough park to pirkei and this purchase business you know so i i got to see what storytelling is and then i met rabbi shmuel kunda i met him and he was like the first guy i ever saw tell a story that was funny you know everybody else just tell stories like and so that sonic walked down the street and he met yosel yosel what are you doing you know just so monotonous and everything is that along came schmuel couldn't he had his antics with his jacket his tie and he changed a few voices here and there and everything was funny funny and i said you know that's the way i'd like to tell a story so when i was 12 years old you know people started to go to out of town yeshivas and they were running short on leaders so at 12 years old they asked me i want to take a period 12 years old 12 years old and then i started taking this group and i started to change my voices and do all the characters and everything and i started adding sound effects gradually and the rest became history i didn't realize that nobody else does this and then i started a trend and when i see some people like this uh uh everybody knows about rabbi official chef right not not many people except for our official himself will always tell you he grew up in my peer groups you know hashem and it was a certain guy rabbi yoli furby he's also a storyteller and what he did was very interesting you know i i once recommend him because i heard him tell a story once on one the words which i also do underwears every other week and what ended up happening was is that i heard him tell a story it was like my styles i liked it very much and i one time i wasn't available and my son wasn't available so i recommended him and he was very thankful and he says what made you think of me and i told him you know your story style is like mine he says it's impossible i never heard you tell a story before so i said come on you gotta have heard me and then eventually he got the discussion and found out that his rebbe was unofficial so now we have an ongoing joke like this is the great grandfather i'm the son and rabbi official chef is like the grandson and ravioli fervor is a great grandson interesting now if you notice nobody realizes but all the good story tells you listen to wonder words every storyteller is always trying to do voices when they tell stories because is nowadays i was told you have a story for us so uh i should go straight to the into the store right it feels funny sitting contrapted over here because i'm used to some insulting story but okay now i picked this particular story because we're you know very close to schwarz so i figured you know to tell a story that brings out the power of terror so this story goes back a long time ago before there were any cars where there was any trucks before there was any airplanes before any of these things were it was the old days with the horses you know the old days with the horses and everything and there was this group of bank robbers but after a while they realized that the sheriff was on to them and they decided to be like highway robbers and now we're going to pick up the story from over there all right guys put on your mask all right i've got my last card well what all right now listen here's the old trick that we're going to do we're going to take the log and put it right on the road right off the road boss no problem yeah now we're gonna put it right over here get that log roll it out all right now put that log right over there good good okay now guys hide in the bushes yes sir we're gonna hide the bushes i excuse me what are you doing hiding here uh boys there's someone else hiding here who's over there get rid of him it's not a him i don't know if it's him or her what is it i don't know it's black and it's got a white tail black and a white you mean like a stripe down the middle uh-huh it kind of smells funny he's about to pick up its tail and get out of here quickly all right i'm sorry what is it would you like it no put him down put it back down that's close and all of a sudden somebody would come walking with his horse actually he'll be riding his horse now my goodness gracious what's going on here where did this tree trunk come from let me get off my horse and move this tree trunk and the person will get off his horse and as he's trying to move his tree trunk all of a sudden what ends up happening is the guys come out of the trees all right get them boys what's going on here what's going on here with you we're gonna rob you what do you think of that i say it's not nice to rob well we didn't ask you well he said what do i say to that uh listen to that buddy we have no time for this your money or your life that's a tough question because i was thinking about saving my money from my old age but then on the other hand if i don't have my life i can't use it for my old age okay here's my money all right don't kill me as long as you don't know what we look like oh don't worry i won't rip off your mess like this oh sorry i didn't see your face what a terrible pimple you got on your nose get out of here and so what happened was this this is the way they did things and in this particular town where this chief rob was was very very interesting he would go over and take off his mask and ask like he would act like an everyday person in the town how you doing how you doing how is everything whoever didn't find how is everything by you yes yeah what do you think is good i like being in this country you're such a nice neighbor thank you thank you thank you you should only know yes what should i only know nothing nothing nothing don't you worry about it everything is fine fine and then suddenly what happened was is the doctor in the town started looking around oh no this is terrible without terrible problem here people are getting sick children are getting sick and i have no medicine for them i don't know what to do i don't know what to do the doctor don't tell what do you mean you don't know what to do you're the doctor i'm a doctor yeah yeah well it doesn't mean i know how to fix everybody we need a big big big big i don't know what you want to call it we need a salvation here or something look at this guy he's running a high fever if we don't get something to him he's going to die unfortunately some of the people their little children did die unfortunately and finally there was a old doctor way back in another country now what i will do is i will invent a nice medicine i heard about this sickness i heard all about the symptoms and how i will just mix together and let's take it off and return paper say no i have any formula it's good i will make a bunch of these things and i will charge lots of money and then i will be rich and people will be cured and so he got on his wagon and he filled his wagon with all these bottles and put in his suitcase and he took it on his wagon his wagon was bouncing up and down and of course the horses were going and they got a little faster and as the horses were going on and he was going on meantime the wife of the chief robber said this is terrible you're not telling me what this is yes what's this that make up your mind is it this or that why are you so confused calm yourself down i can't die no just a minute now i don't understand a word you're saying you're speaking so fast could you just slow down a bit just a little bit okay i'll slow down let me take my heart back to normal okay now i'm back to normal i want to get my breathing back to normal why you sound funny when you breathe okay now as i was saying before our son is sick he caught the epidemic now what are you gonna do about it well i heard there's a doctor coming this way that's gonna bring some antidotes for it some medicine i think we'll just wait for him meantime try to keep the fever down put him in a bathtub put him in a bathtub and do that we'll put ice on his head okay i'll kill that right right away oh by the way yes i didn't panic did i of course not i know what happens when you pat it oh do you yes you start to scream oh but i didn't do that i did it no no no no no no you didn't do that at all okay meantime i'm just going to be nice and patient and since i can't stand it when you are getting a little nervous so you take care of him and and you put him inside that bathtub with a lot of ice okay in the meantime i'm just gonna go take a walk all right let's go out the door all right i'm out to do it boy oh boy my wife i'm telling you all right let her take care of the child meantime to get myself a little relaxed let me get round up the boys hey boys come on we gotta do some work today yeah okay we're gonna do that you want the whole gang of part of the gang i'm ready also yeah me too yeah all right we'll take the whole gag let's go let's go let's go hey we got to make a good killing i thought we don't kill anybody that's an expression all right let's go let's go let's go and he went to the usual spot they waited by the bridge and all you heard an occasional owl passing by because it was towards the evening and once in a while a strange bird that wandered in and meanwhile this is all going on as this is all happening the next thing you know was an old rickety wagon was coming by harry potter here i go with my wagon bouncing up and down and horse were going and somebody saw the log the routine log oh my goodness gracious there's a log over there oh there you go i better get off my watch here one minute oh i'm off my wagon oh i think i broke my back such an old doctor here all right let me see i want to see if i could push this log a one a two hundred maybe i could help you uh yeah yeah that would be nice you come over here and help me hey wait a minute what what what why are you wearing a mask over your face because you're a bunch of robbers what do you say to that uh well um robbers that's very nice okay you want to do me a favor what can you rob this log so i can go on don't be ridiculous we put that log there okay boys check out what he's got in the wagon he's got a suitcase over there see what's over there see what's over there and so one of the robbers came yeah i'm gonna see what's doing here let's take a look i'm gonna open up his suitcase oh no what is this stuff they don't look like schnapps it don't look like money it's just a bunch of colored bottles with different things in it hey boys take all this what you have no money no i was hoping to sell this sell this you can't do anything with this yeah let me take this liquid here pour it out all right let me throw a bottle away all right but no matter what he said they didn't listen they threw everything out and then they turned over his wagon so he shouldn't have a chance to chase after them and then they came to town and eventually the doctor came trudging in it was around midnight you heard the cuckoo class going and finally he came inside and people said how are you how are you how are you listen to me very carefully i just need to know are you the doctor because you're a stranger in town and you look like a doctor okay well i hate to tell you this i i was wrong and all of a sudden the chief of the bandits his wife started screaming knocked it this way please this way you got to help my son we've been waiting a long time for you a long time and so he came in the doctor came through the door and as they came into the door they walked in and together there's my son can you cure him i like to cure him i see the shrimp i don't know if i can make the formula again formula again what are you talking about you know something strange about your voice it sounds familiar in your voice what happened was when i was bringing the medicine i was so terrible i'm telling you i i don't know how to tell you this but i brought it and then i got robbed and these people didn't realize how expensive that was that was the medicine and you know what they did they threw it into the river they skimmed it all out and now i got nothing left it's so bad what did you say you were robbed on the bridge were you around by the penis i put a log in the front yes yes i guess i would oh no do you mean the stuff that we poured out was medicine yeah sure yeah sure oh no my old son is gonna die because i did the wrong thing wow and of course kendall and people of all ages i always like to say that kimmel of all ages this has a beautiful moral this is a muscle that teaches us that sometimes we have a beautiful treasure in front of our eyes we don't have it sometimes we have it all the time our treasure is torah and meets the shimbai shuis we're going to be celebrating there's senu and we're going to renew it like it's brand new all over again but sometimes we think that all the other stuff is more important we forget about our torah and that's the icker and so in this particular case the medicine was the torah and the child was the sick one having all the materialistic things and sometimes in our own way we destroy our own beings by not taking care to make sure that we follow the therapeutic i think that's the best way i can say it in such a short time that's what i think this is a record for me you know i never held such a short story like this you know how does one grow an introduction how does one go about contact yeah
