Oorah Honor Roll: Hayden Bandel with Pumpidisa Live at Oorahthon 2018

everybody welcome to Horizonte roll my name is Robbie brach I have the privilege and the honor of being the director of Horace camp the zone our slogan in the camp is it's more than just a can you know many may think that the slogan comes from the fact that we have a luxurious state of our campus with hotels where you're sleeping in and bumper boats and go cards and ski lifts and all the attractions that we have but the truth is you know where that slogan comes from it's more than just a camp it comes from one place and it comes from our campers our zone iax that's right our zone e.x that's what makes our camp more than just a can we have our zone e acts that come and spend one month with us short amount of time but when they walk out of the summer with extreme accomplishments making life changes in just that one small month of being with us that's what makes us more than just the camp so tonight we feel it necessary to honor those kids intruders really we should be honoring every single kid because all of our kids take on major accomplishments at the end this summer but unfortunately we don't have the time so we're gonna focus on some of our special zoning acts who are gonna be honoring tonight our first Zoni act that we are honoring tonight is Hayden Bend L hated coming up here [Applause] hayden made an accomplishment that some of you might think is small but this accomplishment is a huge huge accomplishment Hayden walked into the zone not knowing too much about fill in how to put on tefillin and Hayden walked out of the zone knowing how to put on tefillin and that is such a major accomplishment let's hear from hating a little bit about it so my name is Hayden Mandel and this summer was my second summer at the zone I like like once you get off the bus it's like you just see this shul and it's like so amazing and like it's not only like the Torah that you see and the shul but it's like how much fun you have there so I'm gonna focus on to fill in so my first summer I was 13 so I was born this way that winter and I didn't really know how to put on tefillin like I would go sometimes on my show but it's very hard because it's like the shock horse is very early but you get to go wake up at a decent time and then so my counselors every single day they'd help me put on tefillin and like eventually after a month you just get to know how to do it [Applause] we feel like tonight's the time to honor you when you look to present you with this award first of all this honor roll frame hoorah and with this award that says were on 2018 honor roll let's get a picture with it everyone please join us live with the pomp Adisa band as we dance in honor of this occasion for those you are keeping Sphero now would be the time to lower the volume Scimitar you know [Music] no senator you model time senator Mazel Mazel [Music] Oh [Music] yeah hey [Music] man my scimitar again I sympathize with Michael types I'm Italian or my scimitar go mouthful yeah hey [Music] the song we saw yeah oh you so man your head with Holly strong [Music] Oh I see my loved one no semen sorry mother died time No
