Oorah Family Chanukah Event 2021 Highlights

[Music] okay [Music] my kids have both expressed disappointment that they see all these lights and all the fun decorations everywhere and then they come home and they just see our small menorah in the window and how do i explain to my kids to be proud of it even though it's small to be proud of it and that this is really something special in the midst of everything else going on in their surroundings the jewish people go way back and that light represents flame of torah that's what kept us going kept us alive so we have to look at the light itself the uh essence colored lights outside and all kinds of decorations and so on but they don't come to that the essence of that little light of it's flickering in the when the window of a jewish home and that's what's going to keep us going [Music] and now i'm walking down your bed even with the questions i have to ask it gives me hope to know [Music] all right we're gonna break it down a little bit yeah you ready here we go [Music] we have our last question up on the board for tonight and the answer is pesa sevi bronstein khanna lammin and leaf izakov and all of you are winners [Music] it never gives up night [Music] once came over to me and asked me what it's like to learn with my torah someone once came over to me and asked me what it's like to keep shabbat this is [Music] keep all health people healthy people healthy know my romaine [Music] eight seven seven cars for kids donate your car today that's cars with a k what stood opposite the menorah in the bassan mcdush uh it was something that had some bread on it the left line had cream you are going to get one of these camels coming down to your house to keep looking at how would you sum up ura what ura is like many people ask me what does ura do so you're in the front lines you're a recipient of it what would you say ura does i would say ura is an absolute lifeline it's more it's more than people think like that they have traveled with me through the hardest times of my life and the happiest times of my life and no matter what i needed whether it was kosher meat or a sitter or just a late night phone call to help me through something they have been a huge form of support they're like a second family and they are truly life-changing and i would encourage everybody to get involved in some way shape or form because it's more than just a zone or an auction or anything like that it's mama's like it becomes a part of who you are [Music] we are [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] foreign
