Signs you're dealing with a narcissist. Well, you know, there are famous checklists regarding types of behavior and manipulation and fault-finding and lying and gaslighting and constant need for admiration. And you can Google and you can find all of these lists. But I'll make it much simpler for you and I'll say this with the disclaimer that when I use the term narcissist, I'm not using it clinically. I'm not a psychologist. In fact, I prefer not even to use that term. I would use another term. I would use the term a person who does not allow me to have a healthy relationship with them. A person who is incapable of having an actual real relationship. Okay? If that's the person you're dealing with, the simple one-question questionnaire that you can ask yourself is this. In this relationship, is there only one person who's allowed to be fully human? In other words, are you not allowed to express feelings, a perspective, to share an experience, to have complaints, to be uncomfortable with something? Are you not allowed to be anything other than a perfect robot programmed for the maximized experience of the other person? The other person is allowed to have a {quote} fully human experience and you're not. If that's how you feel, could be that you're dealing with such a person.
