[Applause] diva's died nobody's out [Music] welcome to the lake partnership for the Torah portion called vacation after last week's action-packed torah portion in which our forefathers jacob has all his children returns to the land of israel and settles things with his brother Asaph well more or less he's finally able to peacefully settle down well not for long well his newly found trouble didn't happen with Shirley it happened with Joseph Joseph Jacobs second to youngest son was the apple of his eye jacob saw certain spiritual powers in his son Joseph which he didn't see in any of his other sons and for this reason Jacob loved Joseph more than his other sons now I'm not going into what that means nor am i giving a parenting class because I don't really know what that means nor am i apparent but that is the fact Jacob loved Joseph more and the other brothers were jealous of him other than the jealousy Joseph brought some more hatred upon himself by sharing his dreams with his brothers oh hey guys I had these dreams that one day I'm gonna rule over you and you'll all bow to me and oh did I mention it this is nice really amazing special coat that dad made just for me because I'm his favorite well the brothers eventually decided to kill him fortunately they didn't do that instead they chucked him into this pit in the ground and they soon after sold him to this Caravan that was passing by who then sold into another Caravan that was on its way to Egypt who then sold him to one of the ministers of Pharaoh whoa that's like the story of my life how and you're not good-looking this dude actually purchased Joseph because he thought Joseph was really good-looking but unfortunately so did this guy's wife eventually this guy's wife try seducing Joseph Joseph refuses and this guy's wife ends up getting Joseph thrown in prison oh well that's what I meant by story of my life the prison part for more details and the rest of this amazing story learn the tour portion yourself but what I'm trying to get at is this if you notice on the lake partial show I always write that it is directed by divine providence that's not just a cute line but that's actually true about everything in life God directs every single detail of our life of the world of all worlds of every element of existence as useless as it seems like that true you're actually less useless than you seem all that occurs not only the things which we see as significant but even the most minut detail is God's doing this fact should not just remain a fact it should be your perception always recognize that everything everything is being directed by the one true existence God Joseph is a prime example of this attitude all throughout his journey or whatever you want to call his chaotic chain of events Joseph knew and kept in mind that it is all being directed by God and he who creates everything at all times has a master plan sitting behind bars with Joseph or the now ex chief Baker and ex chief Butler Joseph once noticed that they looked a bit down so he asked them why turns out they both had disturbing dreams and turns out Joseph interprets them accurately thus relieving their anxiety though I don't really know how relieved the Baker was because the accurate interpretation of his dream was that he was soon to be executed but the point is Joseph notice that these two guys looked down well though they were sad they were all in jail yeah they were all in jail Joseph included but Joseph was in a blissful state of peace with reality knowing that everything including the fact that he was sitting in this dingy jail cell is from God and that is how he was able to notice to look on these other two guys faces to care for and reach out to another he wasn't carried away by his own troubles and suffering because he knew that everything is God's doing everything that occurred and is occurring is God's divine providence right now for me this is the hardest part of this video where I have to ask you to apply this and there's just so many ways to say it after a lot of thought and realizing that this video is actually quite long I'll just leave it at this please go do an act of goodness and kindness and don't forget to demand the revelation of Messiah now shabbat shalom
