Hey it's raining but I don't really have
any way to make this video funny and
entertaining maybe I'll just like
randomly eat a cookie or from green one
bar maybe I'll show you this really cool
guy doing these super awesome parkour
moves and me doing the same or trying
trying to do the same as what it would
be more accurate actually yeah no I
don't think that that's my thing okay no
seriously so much to say so little time
to say it let's get right into the Torah
portion which is called from mid bar the
start of the fourth book of the five
books of Moses and the approaching
holiday which contrary to popular belief
is not called saga cheesecake but is
known as Shavuos
the day on which we received the most
valuable thing in the world and in fact
the purpose of the world cheesecake
that's actually really funny but no no
cheesecake is not the purpose of the
world its Tyra the Tyra is the purpose
of the world you'd leave you're kidding
right I'm kidding okay so two little
messages that I would like to share on
the Torah portion and she voiced amid
the bar means in the desert and simply
the reason why the fourth book of the
five books of Moses has called this is
because the events recorded in the Torah
portions in the fourth book occurred in
the desert in the Sinai desert now
although the giving of the Torah on
Sinai the two tablets with the Ten
Commandments that Moses brought down
from God is not recorded in this fourth
book of the five books but rather in the
second book in most Exodus we know that
this incident the greatest incident in
history occurred in the desert so now
the question becomes why why of all
places that God chose to give us the
Torah in the desert and why on a
mountain the answer is because the
desert is no man's land generally the
laws of any government are tailored to
suit the people of that particular land
but the Torah God's laws are different
the Torah isn't a set of rules based on
how we live life telling us what we code
and what we can't do the Torah is rules
of life life giving rules because
what is the purpose of life it's to
bring godliness into this world that's
why God created us human beings and
that's why God gave us human beings the
Torah his will and wisdom God's
directives on how to live life to the
max and this also explains to us why God
chose to give us the Torah on a mountain
specifically or I mean one of the
reasons why because there's many a
mountain is ground just elevated God
made us earthly creatures with this
intention that he would give us the
Terah and we would elevate the mundane
shabbat shalom and Chag Sameach and I'm
actually upset at myself right now how
can I forget something so pertinent we
need mashiach now we cannot just be
satisfied with the beautiful words of
wisdom the terror offers the way we know
it now we must demand of a sermon before
she vows even starts that we have the
revelation of mushiya and we will
experience the Torah on a whole new
dimension demand this through your
increased joy increased love to your
fellow more learning and more acts of
kindness
