Nobody was killed and nobody was injured but American planes on the ground were damaged. As you can see CBS news reports that an A10 um Thunderbolts lost a wing and about 850 about 815 815 fighter jets F-15 fighters excuse excuse me took light damage and are back in service right now. Now, the Pentagon has not confirmed that obviously. Um, now the American strike that started this round, the United States destroyed five Iranian oil tankers overnight on Tuesday. Four were being used by the revolutionary guards in the Gulf of Oman. Fifth was Nikkag Island and Iran's main oil terminal. As you all know, the crews were told to abandon ship first. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said it plainly, speaking to reporters in Colombia. his words. Iran continues to try to hit US naval ships and for every time they do that or that they try to do that they are going to lose tankers. Iran's revolutionary guard then warned oil tanker crews sitting near the ports of Kuwait and Baharrain. The message was leave your ships or you will be targeted at sea. Speaking of Pickax Mountain, that is another recently discovered nuclear site in Iran buried deep under a mountain. The world's nuclear watchdog has formally reported Iran to the to the United Nations Security Council. This is the body that can order sanctions on a country well and it has not been done since to Iran in 20 years. Obviously, the vote on Wednesday was 23 in favor and three against with eight countries obtain abstaining. The three against were Russia, China and uh Niger or Nagar, Nigeria, I guess, whatever. I never Yeah, whatever. The reason is Iran will not let inspectors down to finish um looking into the uranium traces found at sites Iran never declared. The last time inspectors could verify it, well, Iran was holding about 972 pounds of uranium enriched to about 60% purity. This is one step below the level used in a bomb. to understand how they do this. You cannot just use regular machines. Well, now this this is where I'm going to be explaining to you how this works. Okay, you keep hearing the word um enrichment, right? And here is what it actually means. So, think about it. This is um uranium ore just a rock. It comes out of the ground and it is ordinary soil. It is even in seawater. Now, right now it is barely radioactive obviously as you can tell. But run it through the right process and this rock can light up a city or even destroy one. Here it is out. Here is how. Uranium is not one thing. It comes into two in two forms. Same element, different weight. The one that matters is called U235. It is less than 1% of all the uranium in the world. The other 99% is called U238. Too heavy, too stable, and less uh useless actually for this. But so the entire story, everything Iran is doing, everything the inspectors are looking for is about separating uh um out separating out that 1%. So step one, they mine the rock and they crush it, right? They treat it with chemicals until it becomes a rough powder and then they call it yellow cake. Now step two, two more chemicals reactions and the yellow cake becomes something called uranium um hex fluoride. Now I think it's I think it's hexaflloride. It is a white crystal. Warm warm it up a little and it turns into a gas. Step three, here is where what happens. The pump, the gas into machines called centrifuges. And then a centrifuge is a tube that spins very fast, spins over 1,000 times every second. That means when gas spins so fast, the heavy uranium gets thrown out into the walls. The light uranium, the one that they want, stays in the middle, and they collect what is in the middle. One centuge on its own does almost nothing. So they chain hundreds of them together in a row. That is called cascade. The gas goes through and through and through and every pass the good stuff gets a little stronger. Now here is the part almost nobody knows. These to 3 to 5% is nuclear fuel that runs a power plant. 20% is used to re research in research reactors. 90% is weapons grade that is a bomb. So but the climb is not steady and getting from nothing to 60% in the is the hardest part. So basically it takes years and thousands of hours spinning basically this these centrifuges right you can imagine going from 60 to 90 takes weeks because uh because sorry so going from 60 to 90 obviously takes weeks because at 60 you're almost ready there is sitting at 60%. American Airlines flight 11 was flown into the north tower of the World Trade Center and the actual footage of that is here during a construction on in the middle of the street where firefighter and some construction workers and city officials were standing there and suddenly they saw the plane flying very low above them and they didn't know what it was and then they see that happening and this was what is going on there and it crashed right into the building the first tower right into the south tower of the twin towers. American Airlines Flight 77 was flown into the Pentagon outside Washington. United Airlines Flight 93 never reached its target and as you remember they actually were taken over by passengers according to the black box in the recording box in the plane and they actually persuaded the plane and the plane uh the they managed to overtake the pilot but sadly they had to crash it down in Pittsburgh somewhere in an open empty field and all the passengers um obviously were killed in sh I think Shanksville, Pennsylvania actually. Next to Pittsburgh. 2,977 people were all killed. 2,753 at the World Trade Center and 343 of them were firefighters who ran out to save people. 184 at the Pentagon, 40 on the actual plane in Pennsylvania who died.
