Imagine at the age of 10 or 12, you
know, your father having, you know, open
heart surgery and he's in his 30s with a
very low chance of success back then. It
was 5050 and then him being sick. But I
didn't look at it that way. I looked at
the opportunity for me to spend more
time with him and it paid off in spades
and that's a sacrifice. You have to make
sacrifices in life to get ahead. You
can't always take the easy route or what
looks more favorable at that moment in
time.
>> What profession did your father do?
>> My father was actually in the in the
computer business and unfortunately
um even though he was somewhat
successful at his age at the age of 38,
he was forced to liquidate everything he
had uh because his chance of survival
was very very small. Um so it was
unfortunate. Uh but the fortunate part
is I got to work with him um and I got
his experience. Um, and that's how we
looked at the world.
