the dear family of aerial and LRA's pets
my name is marco vive and i'm david
above we are brothers of ola me new
jersey we are originally from new york
and we are currently students at rutgers
university here in new jersey growing up
mark and i raise very traditional
appreciating all the values morals and
traditions of Judaism
I grew call a specific instance mark
where a grandfather and precisely 9:00
p.m. would drop everything that he's
doing run over to the living room and
surrounded nightly Israeli news I
believe that that love the era
grandfather had for the State of Israel
really carried on over to us and
inspired us at that same love and
connection for a homeland as well his
action reminds me of a quote by LRS when
he says sometimes there is a price to
pay for the right path
the price of life that quote alone shows
a sheer amount of dedication and passion
LRA's had not only to the brothers that
he was fighting alongside of in the IDF
but to the entire state of israel as
well when David and I both attended the
alum me summit this past winter we got a
chance to view a video that described
the tragic loss of your two sons Oreo
and LRA's I think I could speak for
David when I say that tears were shed by
both of us as well as the entire alumni
delegation the connection shared by
Ariel and LRA's made us think of our own
relationship now often times we take it
for granted
definitely the respect shared between
your two sons allowed for us to have a
greater respect for one another and it
is all thanks to your powerful and
moving story something that Mark and I
would like to do in honor of Ariel an
LRS
is to visit the sick and Jewish patients
at a local hospital
every Friday before Shabbat and to
really be a fraction of the role models
a real and LRA's were to the children
brothers and the State of Israel a real
and LRA's remembered for their kindness
bravery and love for their country and
we would like to emulate these
incredible traits by doing this act of
kindness to finish off I like to recite
a short poem the LRS had recited every
night after the Shema as told by his
wife come--the I myself I'm implementing
this inspirational verse in memory and
on
LRS please God please God make me a tool
for your service in a place where hatred
dwells let me plant love in the place of
insult forgiveness in a place of
darkness light in the place of sadness
joy even though we are miles away and we
never met I feel that we are one Jewish
people and that our actions thoughts and
feelings affect each other I'm grateful
for Ariel and Ella Rises service both in
body and spirit and would be honored to
stay in touch if you felt inclined thank
you so much for this opportunity we hope
to speak with you soon thank you
