OC Fire Marshal's Office Pesach Message 2011

[Applause] good afternoon uh Bill G with the Ocean County Fire Marshals office I know everybody's getting ready for the hmet and pass over time frame so we're going over the guidelines for Hamet burning on uh Monday the 18th um we asked that you follow the uh the following guidelines that'll be in the hopefully local papers um one we want no bottles of beer whiskey any alcohol related items or aerosol containers to be put in a fire as it can cause an explosion and injure to participants two we ask that you not wrap the uh items in foil because the they do not burn three we ask do not bring plastic containers such as this to be put into the fire um if you are please throw that in the trash um uh we're also going to Fire Marshals May at the site um as to check bags we ask that no plastic bags be brought to the to the sites um and one of our biggest things is we know the community is grown and the dumpster start getting filled up we're asking that you kind of just just bring Hammet such as bread those type of items to the to the fires um after uh placing the Hammet into the fire please move behind the barricades as uh uh behind the barricades with your children so that other people can put their hmet in the fire safely the fires will start at 7:00 a.m. please be at the s's be by 12:00 to have your hommet placed into the fire and they will be extinguished around 12:30 uh please keep away from the metal containers especially the children as the container get hot over time it could injure them please use the permitted burn SES um for homets burning the fire department will extinguish non-permitted Bond uh non-permitted homet burning sites um that day please listen to the directions of uh the Fire Marshals office Personnel the liquid Police Department crossing guards at each of the sites for your safety and follow the parking rules everyone uh have a safe hus burning and en dry Passover uh the sites that we have um the big sites will be at mg's parking lot on private way the lake with cheddar School playground at 10th and clion Avenue 175 Sunset Avenue and the parking lot is Chateau Grand on 945 River Avenue thank you
