honor and distinction that you brought to us by coming here today it's just unprecedented and they wanted to show their appreciation because without them we wouldn't be able to help you and their special needs we're gonna go on a tour tracy and he also has a story to tell a little bit later about how he started out with several disabilities and how he overcame them so let's take a walk around here the thing that puzzles them is why do we have so many yellow fishes well they're the only ones that we have males and females actually has there's some sort of security mechanism yeah we also have a lot of security in the cameras it's all ready anya is the resident artist okay and she creates masterpieces this was all done by hand i see that it's beautiful we had the good fortune through tonya's leadership to win quite a few little art contests the children actually paint the pictures and we send them in and they want a few calendar contests like that was when we had the dream of the building painted a picture what they think the building was going to look like that you do we'll give a perfect example yesterday pizza do you know how many different ways there are to make each of these days you have regular with regular cheese you have regular with tofu cheese you have regular with sauce no cheese you have regular with no sauce and cheese you have rice cakes with sauce you have rice cakes with sauce and regular cheese you have rice cakes with no sauce and unfortunately we have a couple of them where you need some puree also and the gluten-free we have a tofu pizza also which is regulated i mean there are but you know what we do whatever we can and uh for example today we're having pancakes today so i have a batch of pancakes without milk i'm a bastard package with milk and there's some kids who can't have flour scrambled eggs the kids are allergic to eggs we'll have uh some pastas the kids are allergic to we have uh rice rice very busy have a low fat diet so we have one picking up right now with whole wheat pasta it's just but you know what we have fun doing it as long as we know we have some kids who are very specific diets so we have to uh make that only if it's white or yeah we have only white if it has a speck of something in it he won't it not that he's allergic to it i won't eat it when i make some pancakes i try to get that first batch which usually comes out lighter on that first batch it always comes out a little lighter i'll take a batch and i'll just put those inside for the week let me do something like that we have some kids in the morning parents can't you know feed them breakfast in the morning so we make breakfast in the morning we'll make oatmeal for them we'll make scrambled eggs a couple other kids thank you chef my same reason why we're trying i mean what what uh captain seagull is really teaching us too is uh our son has autism is is at a school in plainfield and the the elementary school in junior high school high school not new too in new jersey high school's in carteret and you wouldn't walk two blocks from the other place and feel safe there's no outside space at either spot they rent the space from the church and go to places so i guess until the church gets a better offer we're okay but if the church ever got a very offer you know there's no guarantee they don't have a long-term lease signed with the church now these women have mortgages you know and uh they just built a beautiful public school yeah right down the street from our sunset not quitting that's not a new school yeah this is on the corner of emerson and east third it's called the emerson avenue elementary school this is a new brand brand new beautiful building right next to us so we're so we're also here to see what's possible because we don't even have the property yet and which you know we know we know how much money we have to raise to make it a reality and it shows you you put your mind to it you can do it right yeah
