I would first like to thank Senator azby I'm here with my wife and together we co-direct locally in this region colony kabad and Jewish life at Sia college going to begin with an act of Charity almighty God Master of the Universe the members of this esteemed body the New York State Senate conven here today to fulfill one of the seven Commandments which you issu to Noah and his family after the great flood the Commandment that all Society be governed by just laws as stated in the Book of Genesis and its sacred commentaries you issued at that time the following seven laws to worship you and you alone never to blasphemy your holy name not to commit murder respect human life not to commit adultery incest or any sexual misdeeds not to steal lie or cheat not to be cruel to any living creature and that every society be governed by just laws based on the recognition and acknowledgement of you oh God as a sovereign ruler of all humankind and All Nations Grant almighty God that the members of the New York State Senate constantly realize that by enacting just laws they're doing your will almighty God I beseech you today to bless the Senate and the entire State and nation in the Merit of two spiritual Giants of our time and of our country and State Rabbi ysf scharen of saintly memory the sixth kabad and laich rebbi and his successor our rebi in Inspiration Raben as we soon approach the 10th day of the Hebrew month of Shabbat this Saturday this Shabbat will Mark 75 years the 75th anniversary of the transition of their leadership it is a day of reflection and action and one which should energize us to be God conscious beings their holy Mission continues to our acts of goodness and kindness hastening the harmonious era of the Messianic Redemption ultimately we ask of you oh God to usher in the era of redemption when there will be no more war and strife and all humankind will know you as the prophet Isaiah States the Earth shall be full of knowledge of God as the waters covers the sea and let us say Amen
