In the meantime, this morning, Iran has effectively shut down the straight of Hermuz. Another major Iranian troublemaker Ali Larijani Immar was killed in Tehran today along with others and the US the US embassy in Baghdad was hit overnight. At the same time Saudi crown prince the Saudi Arabia crown prince Muhammad bin Salman privately told President Trump to hit Iran hard while Saudi Arabia publicly denies this and says they don't want to go. They don't want the war to grow. Trump meanwhile says Europeans and other allies are not doing enough and says maybe America shouldn't even be there and says he may hit Kag Island again just for fun. And in the middle of all of this, Trump's chief of staff Susie Wilds has been diagnosed with early stage Yenamasa. Trump says she has an excellent medical team and a strong prognosis. Iran has effectively shut down the Straight of Hermuz, the narrow waterway we spoke about so many times between Iran and Oman, where roughly a fifth of the world's oil passes there every single day. Only 2% affects the United States. The rest is China and other countries. Thran closed the strait of Hermos in response to American and Israeli air strikes obviously and the closure has caused what many are calling the largest oil supply disruption in history and they also obviously target ships going by there. Global oil prices have surged sharply since the blockade began began and fuel costs are rising in multiple countries. Oil prices rose more than 2%. Commercial shipping through the straight has almost completely stopped before the fighting started. About 125 oil tankers used to pass through that straight every single day. Now reports say that the number has dropped and just 3 to five ships a day. Iran says it will keep the straight of Hermuz open for Chinese ships only, but closed to ships it considers enemies. 3 weeks into the war, President Trump is pressing NATO allies and China to step in and help force the straight back open. So far, neither NATO nor China has has agreed to join. The White House has been reaching out to country after country. The UK, France, Germany, Italy, a um Australia, Canada, Gulf States, Jordan, Japan, and South Korea, asking them all to send ships and military help to help escort vessels through that narrow straight in that danger zone. So far, the answer has mostly been no. It's not our war, they say. Germany, Italy, and Japan have already kind of said no to sending naval vessels. The EU's top foreign policy official Kalas Kaya Kala says after a meeting of all 27 EU foreign ministers that there is, in her words, no appetite in Europe to join. She added bluntly, "This is not Europe's war." Trump spoke Sunday with British Prime Minister Karma and French President Emanuel Mcronone. Trump publicly says that Mcronone was eight out of 10 unwillingness to help and claimed the UK was already in. But people familiar with the talks described a very different picture. Starmmer was said to to be open to the idea, but Macron gave no real commitment. On Monday, Trump told reporters that he was greatly disappointed in countries that are still holding back. He warned it would be very bad for NATO's future if allies don't come through. He also said if um of the conflict maybe we shouldn't have been there. President Trump also says the United States will not wait for Europe when it comes to the straight of he made it very clear that if European countries do not join a security effort there America can still move ahead. He also said that in some cases he tests allies on purpose to see how they respond and added that he has he has been saying for years that Europe will not be there for America when it matters. In response, the United States is sending more forces to the region. US Central Command is actively targeting threats from Iran to help reopen the waterway. The US military is already hitting Iranian anti-ship positions along the shores of the straight of the straight to weaken Iran's ability to attack the oil tankers that go there that go by. Thousands of US Marines are also being deployed to the Middle East. Like we said yesterday, up to 5,000 as officials say the conflict is not expected to end too soon. The Trump administration is weighing several options, including using using US warships to escort tankers, sending American forces to take control of the waterway, or even seizing an Iranian oil platform as pressure. No option has been officially announced yet. A quick update on the Kag Island. That is a small island off Iran's coast. Yeah. That handles most, I would say 90% of Iran's oil exports. President Trump said Monday he is now considering more strikes there. He warned that if Iran keeps blocking the straight of Hormuz, he could res he could basically reverse his earlier decision to spare the island's oil facilities. Officials are warning that if the US hits Kag Island harder, Iran could strike back against oil facilities nearby in the nearby Gulf countries, especially Saudi Arabia. Six six rockets and at least five drones slammed into the US embassy in Baghdad earlier Tuesday morning today. the most intense attack on the compound since the conflict began between the United States and Iran. Some of the drones were intercepted and others got through and struck their targets directly. One Iraqi militia released drone footage showing one of its aircrafts flying in circles above the embassy compound for at least 2 minutes without being intercepted. The attack came after Abu Ali al- A al- Ascali, the spokesperson and security chief of the Iranian-backed Shiat militia, whatever the name is, was killed in an earlier strike. The secretary general of Kaibbala confirmed his death officially. Within roughly of an hour, an hour of that announcement, militias struck three targets at once. the US embassy, the al-Rashid hotel in Baghdad where European diplomatic delegation was um staying and the Victoria military base near Baghdad airport. At the same time, an American aircraft struck a residential building in Baghdad's al uh whatever neighborhood something killing six Iraqis. The strike is believed to have been an assassination attempt targeting senior militia leaderships there in Iraq. The names of those killed have not yet been released. Obviously, following the strikes, the State Department issued an urgent warning to telling American citizens in that region to leave Iraq immediately. Israeli forces have expanded ground operations in southern Lebanon with fighting now active across 15 areas in the south. Division 36 from the army has moved deeper into the region, working alongside Division 9. The IDF says the the goal is to remove all the threat all the threats of create a security buffer zone for residents of northern Israel. Now, one of 100,000 reserveists of the IDF have been mobilized as part of this operation. Earlier today, Israeli forces struck a building in Sidon after first warning of civilians to evacuate the area. Israeli air strikes also hit three neighborhoods in southern Beirut. The fighting across Lebanon has pushed roughly 1 million people out of their homes. Several countries, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, and the United Kingdom have put out a joint statement calling on Israel, not the Kbala, but Israel to not to launch a large-scale ground operation in Lebanon. The Israeli military carried out major air strikes in Tehran overnight, targeting the highest levels of the Iranian regime. Listen to this. Israel also confirmed that they killed a name a guy with Gola Goesa Sulmani Yakamoy. Also, he ran the besieged terror unit which works under the Iranian revolutionary guards. Aram al auri yamsh also one of the top commanders of Islamic jihad yam was also killed in in Iran today. Al auri was based in tan and ran the military operations of Islamic jihad from there. He was considered one of the most senior figures of the organization. The man responsible for planning and directing terrorist attacks against yen around the world. Israel has not officially officially claimed responsibility for this uh particular strike. Meanwhile, the expect the expected new supreme leader Mushaba Husseini Kai has not been seen in public. Like we said, reports say he is hiding out of fear for his life. On February 28th, Shabaza, the strike, 30 bombs that killed his father, Ayat Ali Kamay nearly killed him too. Leaked audio from an Iranian official says Amushtaba has stepped outside into the garden just moments before the strike hit. That decision saved his life. He suffered a leg injury in the attack, but his wife and son were killed in the strike. Obviously, since taking power, Mushaba has not been seen in public once. Reports say he may have been flown to Russia for medical treatment. Some reports inside Iran claim his leg was amputated. Other rumors about his condition are even more serious. None of this has been confirmed, though. Iran's foreign ministry minister Abbas Arachi said Mushtaba is in perfect health. imperfect health, but he gave no public appearance, so no photo and no proof. He says in his words, President Trump said directly that the United States does not know if Mushabanay is dead or alive. Mushaba is 56 years old and still has not made a single public appearance since becoming the Supreme Leader. The United States is now offering a $10 million reward for information leading to the arrest of him and other top Iranian leaders. Israel for its part pointed out today that they already handed one name on that list referring to the killing of the above mentioned leaders at no charge. Today, reports say the strikes are down to 10 a day from 80 a day. Americans and Israeli forces have destroyed thousands of enemy targets since the fighting started. Gulf states are now pushing Washington to keep fighting until Iran is finished. Well, as a threat completely, a complete reversal from where they stood just weeks ago. That happened after Iran launched more than 2,000 missiles and drones at Gulf countries, hitting oil facilities, airports, and civilian targets across the region. One of the hardest hits, well, the hardest hit targets were the oil hub which is in the United Arab Emirates called Fuj I think Fujira Fujira. I think I hope I pronounced that right. If not, in the UAE, Iranian drones also hit more than uh more than once, sparking fires. A ship of the UAE coast was also struck and Iran separately hit a UAE gas field as well. A drone also struck Dubai International Airport, one of the busiest airports in the world, forcing the airport to stop incoming flights. You can see on the video how the drone just struck in the middle of the airport, the middle of the, you know, a nice day at the airport. Boom. A flight traveling from Edinburgh um Edinburgh to to Dubai was turned back while over Egypt after the airport closed to the arriving traffic. The airport has since then resumed operations. Iran has also warned civilians in the UAE to stay away from seapports claiming concerns for their safety. American military command says that the sentcom says that the warning is misleading and says Iran has struck Gulf countries more than 300 times in the past 2 weeks alone with no regard for civilian safety. Now Gulf states have also turned to Israel for military help. Israeli ambassador to the US lighter lighter says Israel has extended its military expertise to every Gulf country that wants it. Reports say Saudi Crown Prince, like I said in the beginning, Muhammad bin Salman told Trump to quote, "Hit the Iranians very hard." Saudi Arabia officially denies the story, saying they do not want a longer war, obviously. But Arab leaders have long seen Iran as their biggest threat. To be honest with you, King Abdullah II of Jordan met with President of the United Arab Emirates, Muhammad bin Zed. Now, listen to this. They met in the UAE on Monday, yesterday, to talk about the ongoing war in the Middle East. The leaders strongly criticized recent attacks by Iran on both Jordan and the UAE. The royal he uh the royal court says that the two men made it very clear that Arab countries did not start this war and are not part of it. But they say they are just trying to stop the fighting from spread spreading across the rest of the region. Direct talks between the United States and Iran are underway. Listen to this. This is interesting. President Trump confirmed that American officials Steve Witkov are speaking with Abasaraki, the the the foreign minister about from of Iran, but he said he doubts they're going to come truly they're truly ready to make even a deal. Even Iraqi said it a few days ago. But listen, you never know what they're talking about. So there's other theories maybe what's going on. I had a conversation with Shra Stern about this. It might be that he's basically part of this whole, you know, basically he's working with the United States. You never know. But it's just it's not it's not a conspiracy theory. Iran fired rockets directly at your line this Monday afternoon. Yesterday Israeli air defenses intercepted several of the missiles. But large fragments came crashing down across some of the most sacred grounds of in the world in some of the most holiest places in the in in Shalim. Israeli police confirmed that missiles missile debris landed in the plaza of Harabis in the area of the Jewish quarter near the Koslam Maruvi. One major moment came when a large piece of Iranian missile shrapnel crashed through the roof of the banana clo in Shalai and landed inside the main medish. Unbelievable. You know it's pieces. It's huge, big gigantic pieces. Shishma, Iranian state TV is openly calling on people across Iran to use an upcoming fire festival to burn figures of President Trump and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The festival known as I'm not going to pronounce it here, but I think it's Yeah, I'm going to pronounce it. It's called Charaburi is held um the last Tuesday before the Persian New Year. Iranian state media wants to turn those fires into a political statement. Hundreds of Iranian political uh police officers have abandoned their posts recently. Reports say around 350 officers walked away from at least one police base and in some units the disc the this uh this rate the rate has reached as high as 90% they say of people of police officers from those bases running away. The regime is now said to be offering pardons to prisoners in exchange for joining the security forces. Prisoners criminals. Right now, residents in Tehran are telling the BBC news agency that new checkpoints have been set up around the capital with people being stopped and searched. Iran also rounded up 500 people, it calls internal traders, accusing them of passing information to Iran's enemies. The charges have not been confirmed independently. Iranians at the ground say the regime security forces are still out on the streets, especially at night, keeping a tight grip on the cities and stopping protests before they can even begin. US President Donald J. Trump says at least 41,000 people were killed during the protests in Iran earlier this year. Israel says it has detailed has it has a detailed plan for the future for at least three more weeks of war with Iran. Overnight, Israel carried out heavy air strikes on sites across Iran. The Israeli military has not said publicly which sites in Iran were hit. Back in Gaza, h you thought only Iran is in the news, huh? Back in Gaza, Kamas Shim are taking control again in Gaza while the war with Iran dominates the world attention. The world's attention, sorry. Analysts say governments and media are so focused on Iran that planning for Gaza after the war has taken a backseat and kamas is using that opening. No official response from Israel or the United States has been confirmed yet about this. The Israeli national airline lal is flying home 35,000 passengers during wartime. The airline has expanded rescue flights u um um options for Americans stranded overseas after the war with Iran disrupted normal flights um routes and schedules. Alal says USbound flights are a top priority and is offering fixedpric rescue flights to get people home even under wartime airspace restrictions. 200 American soldiers have been wounded since the United States and Israel launched military operations operation epic fury against Iran. US Central Command Sencom said the injuries have taken place since the start of Operation Epic Fury. 13 US service service members have been killed in the fighting. One analyst called it almost suicidal. The Pentagon has not announced any specific operation or timeline. Russia, Russia, Russia, Russia has been quietly helping Iran in its fight against American forces. Western officials say Moscow has been sharing satellite images with Thran, helping Iran target American military bases in the region. Russia has also reportedly been passing along military intelligence and drone tactics. Every time Iran attacks American targets, oil prices rise and this and that sends more money in to Russia's budget. Ukraine says Russia Russia's work with Iran has helped improve the Shahed drones. President Zilinski says Israel has what Ukraine needs against Russia and Ukraine has what Israel needs against Iran. So, he wants to make a deal, I guess. Iran's revolutionary guards, the IRGC, have released a list of 15 American companies they are threatening to attack across the Middle East. Employees at those companies are being urged to leave the region immediately. Obviously, since the fighting between Israel and Iran began, tens of thousands of pro pro-Iranian Tik Tok accounts have been pushing AI generated images and videos, deep fakes made to look like real news footage to confuse the world. A deep fake is a video or image created by artificial intelligence to show something that never actually happened. Often so realistic that people believe that it actually happened at first glance, like one where American soldiers have been detained uh, you know, stopped at gunpoint by the RGC in Iran, but that never happened because we all know that they're not on the ground there. And we also know that, you know, according to the picture, the lighting is off and you can obviously tell that AI generated or even photoshopped the old fashioned way. You never know. The videos show destroyed Israeli cities, dead leaders, and military disasters all fabricated. The goal is to spread panic and confusion among Israelis and among people around the world watching the word the war unfold. A federal judge has blocked RF Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. from cutting the number of vaccines recommended for children. Judge Brian Murphy ruled that Kennedy's Department of Health and Human Services likely broke normal legal procedure when it replaced the Federal Vaccine Advisory Committee and pushed through changes. President Trump signed an order today yesterday creating a new government task force to fight fraud and vice president JD Vance will chair it. Top Democrats in Congress are asking the Justice Department to investigate former Homeland Security Secretary Christy Nolan. She's already former for perjury. She sent a letter to Attorney General Pam Bondi. Sorry, she they sent a letter to Attorney General Pam Bondi claiming Gnome lied under oath during recent hearings. The lawmakers say she gave false statements about $220 million advertising campaign that she made. Reports say the Justice Department will likely ignore the request. Chuck Schumer is calling the Save the Save America Act one of the most despicable pieces of legislations legislation he has ever seen. This is um you know what this is? This is the basically the that only citizens are allowed to vote with voter ID. Right. Schumer said the bill is designed to help President Trump cheat in the midterm elections. The Save America Act is expected to come to the Senate floor for a vote this week. Senate Republicans are now discussing whether to use the nuclear option to pass the Save Act. That would mean changing Senate rules by a simple majority so Democrats could not block the bill with a filibuster. Republicans do not have the 60 vote this do not have the 60 votes normally needed to move the bill forward. So this would be a major rules change if they decide to do this. Trump is threatening to arrest journalists over their coverage of military strikes on Iran. In a post Sunday evening, Trump strongly criticized media outlets he says are publishing false information about the war and is threatening threatening them to charge reporters with treason. This comes alongside threats from the FCC chairman Brandon um Brendan I think Brendan S Brendan Carr against news outlets I don't sorry the names you know outlets he says are not serving the public interests. No charges have been filed against any journalists so far. Steve Witzkov, President Trump's special envoy to the Middle East, is set to brief a bipartisan group of senators in a private classified briefing on the war in Iran. The chances of a diplomatic deal and the question of reopening the Strait of Hermuz is on the table. House Democrats are also demanding hearings with Witkov, Jared Kushner, Marco Rubio, and Pete Hexath. Congressman Neil Dunn of Florida has a terminal illness, and President Trump revealed it publicly on Monday at the White House press conference. Trump said D could have been dead by June. House Speaker Mike Jackson uh uh Johnson immediately replied that this information wasn't public. King Charles III is coming to the White House. President Trump confirmed that he that the visit is happening very soon. Well, it looks like after the war, when the war will finish, we don't know. Gas prices are rising sharply across the country as a result of the war. Gasoline has gone up nearly 8 cents a gallon over the past month alone. Diesel is up even more than that. The US government is trying to calm the markets down by releasing oil reserves and trying to increase supply. Speaking of Australia before, Australia's deputy prime minister has refused to rule out fuel rationing if the Middle East crisis disrupts fuel supplies for weeks. South Africa's fruit export industry is also taking a financial hit as the war- rellated shipping disruptions continue. 400 people are dead after a massive strike hit a drug rehabilitation center in Kabul, Afghanistan on Monday night.
