Why SHABBAT brings me so much joy! #shorts

My dad found out he was Jewish. Moved to Israel and learned Torah and made a big effort to raise a house that was connected to Torah and Mit. When I was in high school, it wasn't going well. I realized I was hanging around with the wrong crowd and didn't really have much going for me in the US. My assistant principal said that I pretty much wasn't welcome back the next year. So, I told my dad, "Please get me out of here." So, I just like went to Israel. I told my dad, I don't want to go to the army and I'm not going to Yeshiva. After 2 days there, I was sold. Yoshalam changed everything for me and I went into a yeshiva there. I just fell in love and then I met aliyah. I went to the army. Both the things that I told my dad I'm not going to do I ended up doing. I always believed in Hashem and I was always connected. But I stopped keeping Shabbat in the army. All the Americans are out partying and you're keeping Shabbat at home. It's not easy. So I stopped keeping Shabbat. I always knew it. Even when I was breaking Shabbat, I always knew like my house is going to be a kosher house. But I knew on whatever level it was a necessity in my life. And that essentially led me back. I metal fester alto. Nothing in the world besides a human life would make me break Shabbat. All of life comes alive on Shabbat.
