How daily [music] giving became a reality. >> And at that moment, I had the only epiphany I ever had in my life. That no matter [music] how much money I give to tzedakah, I still did a mitzvah for $1. I was like, "Wow, what a deal. A mitzvah for a buck?" I was like, "How can I guarantee that I'm giving tzedakah every single day, no matter what, for a dollar?" That was the idea that popped into my head. I thought I had a billion-dollar idea. I couldn't concentrate in shul that day. I really ran home and I started googling, "Is anybody automating daily tzedakah giving?" And I could not find it. So, I called up my website guy, Showel, and I asked [music] him what he thought of the idea. He said, "Great idea." I said, "Can you build me a website?" He said, "Absolutely." This was May or June of of [music] 2018. Then I had this idea cuz I listen to a lot of Shuir Matters anytime, and I really like Rabbi Paysach Krohn. If you hear Rabbi Krohn talk, he's constantly saying "Torah Anytime is the greatest thing since sliced bread." If I can get Rabbi Paysach Krohn to speak about daily giving the way he speaks about Torah Anytime, we're going to blow this thing up. So, I got his number, and I called him up, and my heart was beating out of my chest. And the voice of Torah [music] Anytime picks up the phone. I'm like, "Oh my god." I told him my idea, and he's like, "This is a great idea." He's like, "No one's doing it." I said, "Rabbi, no one's doing it." So, he said, "Well, do you have a rabbinical [music] council?" I was like, "No." He's like, "Well, how are people going to not know it's not going to your kids' college fund?" I said, "That's a great idea." So, we formed a rabbinical council, >> [music] >> and we went live with the website January 1st, 2019.
