I was taught, if you do this, you're going to burn. If you do this, you're going to burn. Newsflash, there's no hell. The hell is you are not going to be close to God. So, Rabbi said something about your association. He said, let's say you have a business trip, and you have like a, [music] I don't know, 20-hour flight to Vietnam. And you get off the flight, you're exhausted, you check in the hotel, but your room is not ready, and they give you a free drink at the bar. So, you go to the bar, and there's this beautiful woman sits down next to you. She starts talking to you, and the next thing you know, you wake up in the morning [music] and you sinned. Now, let's say that person has the most incredible relationship with his wife. [music] I mean, bar none, like he has he shares everything, complete vulnerability, the closest relationship with his wife. And he wakes up in the morning, his first thought is, "Oh my God, what did I do?" [music] That is your association. It's the fear of ruining the closeness in the relationship with God. That is the punishment. Since then, the closer I feel to God, the better my life gets. When I do something that is misaligned >> [music] >> from whatever that is to myself, then I feel down. When I'm close to God, when I feel close to God, that is winning in life.
