Guess who fought Bernie Madoff?

Some of the hardest time I did was when they moved somebody in next door to me [music] by the name of Bernie Maidoff. He couldn't do the time and he was trying desperately to get somebody to [music] kill him. I was sitting at the table with two gangster contract killers. We were talking and Bernie came up and he said something very disrespectful about my wife [music] Esther. You never insult a man's wife in prison ever. His insult was way over the [music] line. Two guys pulled me off and telling me he wants you to kill him. So [music] he went to the hospital, broken sternum, broken arms. Several weeks later, the captain called me in. She looked at me and she said, "A little bird told me that someone looking just like you put maid off in the hospital." I said, "Captain, for as long as I've known you, I've never lied to you." Correct. And she said, "Yeah." I said, "I'm not going to answer this question." She said, "In that case, you tell the person who did this that if [music] I catch him, he's going to do six months in the hole on bread and water." I looked at her. I said, "Why would you do that?" And she said, "Because he didn't finish the [music] job.
