From Lifesaver to Son-in-Law: A Love Story

a long time ago, a young man and he was living in Warsaw right before the ghetto was established and he was running through the streets of Warsaw on a cold, dark, rainy night and he saw an old Jewish man, man being beaten up and attacked by a Nazi and um he jumped on this Nazi and he took the pain out of his rifle and he stabbed him and he left this Nazi lying down a [music] pool of blood and then he carried the oldidic man back to his home and somewhere you know in the ghetto in the middle of the night there's a knock on the door of this oldidic man and It's this young Shia and he's 19 years old and he says, "Go call the father of the house. I want to speak to him." So they go, they wake him up. You know, he's [music] nervous. 3:00 and that time you get a knock on the door. You think the worst, the gustapo? Who knows? And who's at the door? It's this man. He says, "Listen, I saved your life. [music] Now I need a favor." What is it? I want to marry your daughter. [music]
