Michael uh Mr. Town Supervisor. What
what what do we call you? Your honor,
your eminence,
your majesty. Not to brag, but when I
was 25, I was on Jeopardy. I was on
Jeopardy and I lost. Well, why don't we
start with just first of all, what the
heck does a town supervisor do? You came
in in an era where you had to rebuild
trust. And you're coming in now fiscally
responsible, playing politics, building
trust. We have nothing to hide. you
know, with the thinking that if we're
doing everything right, even if we make
mistakes, there'll be honest mistakes.
We're here to rebuild. We're here to
work together. We're all we're all
really looking for the same thing. You
know, your town is is kind of like the
North Korea of Rock County. Don't be the
North Korea. And I actually said, "Well,
I think we're more like the Israel of
Rocky County." What's the best part of
your job? What do you love the most when
I hear from people how I actually help
them? Uh when when actually somebody
says something specific like, "Thank
you. I asked you to fix the traffic
light and you did it right away. Thank
you so much. You put the sidewalk in.
Thank you. My kids love the new
playground. Pickle ball is huge. I We
cannot have enough pickle ball cards.
Everybody wants pickle ball. I find as
long as you get back to people right
away and you answer their question and
you're not trying to hide from them,
most people are happy. Who do you report
to as a town supervisor? Who's your
superior? My wife Karen Stretch.
