China he's done things that people can only dream about none of your business oi none of your business Michael it's the none of your business podcast host by Michael [Music] anoshi welcome back everybody to another amazing episode of the none of your business podcast I am really excited about our guests that we're going to have in a couple of minutes here but first let me ask you guys to like subscribe and follow it's really important for our algorithms it's really important for our EOS we need to hear back from you guys we're taking the feedback seriously we're implementing it into our podcast like you're going to see here today with the starting off with the lightning round to engage in our conversation we every second of it hard to doing now in our podcasts is we do something called a lightning round where we ask you bunch of questions and we want you to like Family Feud style and you got like fast money you know you got to answer the questions right away uh we used to do it at the end of the podcast but now we moved it to the beginning of the podcast so we can get a little bit of a flavor of what's to come what people can expect okay so we're g I'm going to ask you now nine questions sure exactly nine questions I'm going to ask you and you get one none of your business answer you get one one pass so one of the nine questions I can say none one of the nine you can you can pass on okay so you're going to ask your questions first but before I answer them you can ask them right away whatever comes up top of your head the first how am I going to know which I might want to pick let's say the ninth one or E too late don't use it if you don't think you know use it when I do have to use one be very careful use it wisely use it wisely okay so we're going to start the questions and uh I want to add a tenth question at the End by the way a 10th question yeah I just thought of something okay excellent excellent okay they're not they're not such tough questions they're just questions to really get a little feel for you know uh the things that you're going to be talking and I already thought of an 11th I'm having so much fun already okay this is great this is great all you ready I'm ready all right here we go all right question one if you wouldn't live in America where else in the world would you live other than Israel it's a great question I don't know if I have the answer it's a great question I don't know oh wow okay I guess he has so many it's a great question he has too many places he has too many places or we we'll save it for the actual uh for the actual podcast which country was the most boring country you visited um Belgium Belgium okay sorry Belgium sorry which country had the best looking people the best looking people I hope my wife's not listening um probably Italy Italy okay that makes sense okay how much money was the most expensive trip you ever took probably 25,000 25,000 yeah it's pretty reasonable it's only 24,000 more than I've ever spent if you didn't travel as a hobby what else would your other hobby be I like boating boating okay and I love convertibl so I guess anything outdoors with the wind in my face okay well I'm going to jump into that one other question that I was thinking of which is what is the most expensive car you ever drove so I've driven a few expensive cars um Bentley GT see the the the F the fast Edition but it was like a crazy one out of a 100 okay um or I've driven a Ferrari as well and um like d drove it fast did you actually drive it you're a rule follower did you actually did you actually really really drive it it couldn't because it wasn't my car you gota be careful yeah yeah you can't afford to put a dent in that car exactly okay go ahead okay next question what was the most annoying thing any of the people you've traveled with in the past did I went traveling with a friend who was very cheap at one time and I just don't want to give that too much information but it was a very hot day and we asked for sometime lotion to borrow and he uh he did not want to give it to us we're paying him back I think in the end he actually did I was like whoa you're gonna get a zel request at the end of this podcast yeah I think that was definitely uh oh that's funny that's that's brutal uh if you could bring one thing on a trip what was the one thing you kept bringing on your trips besides money clothes and your phone what would that one thing be that you have to have on your trips I guess a good attitude and an open Outlook wow I like that answer for world traveling you know when people go travel a lot like they're already in a bad mood just by the time they get on the plane you know until they actually get to their destination not me all right what's the what's the weirdest place you ever slept for a night the weirdest place as in terms of country or just situation situation situation uh like did you fall asleep on the Wall of China I feel what was it like did you sleep on a park bench one night somewhere in uh one of these count no but I did I did say in like yourport like like let's say the flight was canc whatever like the airport we all been there okay okay nothing crazy cre like a Euro Rail train but that was supposed to be it had like a cabin meant to sleep there it was meant to sleep okay we don't feel bad for you first last question other than English another than any language you do speak what language would you love to speak I like Italian and French so it's a hard one between those two in terms of the way the language okay okay yeah French was a cool one I think it sounds really uh you know always sounds like they're smarter than than everybody else way they talk with their accents okay it's phenomenal I love it listen M we have lots of ground to cover so um I I want to get started I want to get started and I want to ask you first the following question when was that moment that you decided I want to travel I want to go see the world I'm not content with just my immediate surroundings I I know there's more out there and I and I want to go out there and explore when was that moment did that happen and what was the first place you decided to go to that first trip the first place you went to how did that all unfold tell us about so first it wasn't a matter of being not content I would say it's a more it's was more for me of seeing that there's a lot bigger world out there than just the place that I live in when I really started traveling I was in school in Israel for a year Ina and on way back to America I'm like you know what we're passing through Europe let's tra let's let's see a little bit of Europe and I bought a EUR Rail Pass where you're able to go to any country that the train goes to in Europe what's what's a Euro Trail explain that if you don't mind it's basically like an AM track or any like a local train that you would have let's say in America and instead of going like from state to state that we would have here it just goes from country to Country so let's say you could take train from Italy to Slovenia or Croatia or rria Germany Holland you just every day you could basically wake up in a different country and so it's awesome I mean I didn't know it cost today then it was like five or $600 I think $500 and it was like a like a 30-day rail like a 30-day pass and you're able to to as many countries as you want wow for that dur it's like a monthly bus pass yeah wow that's great that's awesome and it really goes through all the different countries I mean so that was your that's how you traveled that was the logistics behind where I started it okay then I was like whoa this is really cool I love this you know and um were you by yourself I'm with a friend okay you're with a friend okay okay so then you came back and then you settled in then you decided I'm taking a trip like a real trip planned out like you you you you always had it planned to a te like you knew exactly where you were going to go how long you're going to go for so tell us about the first trip like major trip that you took where you went what it was like give us the rundown give us that's where first I went to Italy I started off in Rome I went to the so Coliseum obviously the Vatican which is actually its own country the H it's called Holy Land it's it's actually considered a country and holy city I think either hly I think it's called holy city actually and uh from there I went to Pisa which the Leaning Tower of Pisa I went to Florence and Dennis and then from there um I took a train to svenia and it went through wria and croo just like a little passing through what would you do in each of these places so let's say in Rome I went in the Coliseum so you went to go see historical sites I to see historical sites or the main the main the main attraction they exactly okay and then um Germany then let's say it went to Germany so I went to Munich so I went to concentration camps in daau which is very you know which was uh very important very experience that people realize I important to do on an organized trip to go to these places in Germany of course and then from there I went to switzland so I saw some of the Alps which were gorgeous and went to Hungary I went to buest and the city is divided between Buddha and Pest and just it's a beautiful have a gorgeous Parliament over there just beautiful city just walking around it's like a very famous street called vzi Street and it was just beautiful and um and that's it you know so that was your first like experience with traveling and Paris okay so you traveled and you got the bug you got the bug so traveling and you realized that this is kind of what I want to do and then you you just escalated you took it up you kept leveling up and you kept going more places so what was the first like crazy place that you went to Crazy uh no place is crazy you're in the Middle East you've been to the Middle East right correct I mean I guess you certain people call cring yeah I mean for it's regular day life just like me you and I I live over here okay people that have day-to-day life over there so it might be very different than what we're used to you I've been to like say like I guess parts of Africa Zimbabwe zomie Swan Namibia and certain parts of South Africa that were you know very different than here which I love CU you know every day you have your regular day life so when you travel for me I like to see something different that I'm not used to over here right so you went to to Africa right you went to the Jungle you saw the animals what did you do for food for kosher food how did you manage that so in South Africa there's actually a lot of kosher restaurants in Johannesburg and also in cap Town um the other parts we just bro with us like um soups noodle soups and uh different micro like microwave meals so you just packed F yeah was it ever a challenge to you to travel when it came to food no because I like to travel so much as much as I like to eat the tra the travel comes first the travel is a priority over the food prior you would sacrifice so so you went to Africa okay I know you've been to the Middle East have you been to like Iran have you been to Afghanistan any of these places I've been to Afghanistan which is not in the Middle East okay yes I've been to Afghanistan Kabul which is super cool Kabul yeah okay which was I mean these are not placed you can go to today you can't Goan no today you cannot go I mean you could probably go just it's a lot more a lot more dangerous I don't even know if they would let you in CU because the Taliban is in charge now in rule so I don't know but when I went Taliban did not take over just yet uh so you wore your yamaka when you were there no I didn't no you didn't so you concealed your identity right I mean right I wore actually I wore it's called um in Pakistan they call a sh shaar cares but in it's in in Afghanistan they call like a petm Tuan it's like the long gown that they wear right so I wore that and they wore a hat but they they just supposed to so you blend it in so you whatever that's that's smart do about Judaism just any Foreigner is basically a um a Target is a target exactly nothing to do with you want to integrate with the culture by wearing their gar with the religion just in general they tell you any far where did you sleep in Afghanistan so I actually didn't I flew to Dubai to sleep so I came there like 6 o'clock in the morning you landed first in Afghanistan was for the in the airport Afghanistan airport what's the airport what's it called in Kabul oh so Kabul has the airport okay kab is a city in Afghanistan it's the capital capital and basically it was crazy security actually coming coming over there I was actually really to get into Afghanistan right while you're actually in the airport leaving the airport to get into town there's like Gates and like the airport is surrounded like by like by fences and things they you know they took security very very seriously of course and I did have body and armed guards with us I was there you did yeah of course oh so you hired private security yeah interesting so you didn't just walk around on own not it's not the it's not like that type of jaill even though Taliban was not in in rule they were in ruling then you still had to be very very cautious where you could go and what you could do were you nervous were you with I was with one other person me and I had two bodyguards a driver and and the the tour guy after that was there any time that you were nervous not there no was and then where were you nervous um so there were times I was nervous but it was it was just because it was like a Mis misunderstanding or miscommunication it wasn't really because anything anyone was for example bad so I was in Lebanon wow Lebanon Leon that's a dangerous place I mean these are places that are not accessible anymore right I mean you know for some but yeah I guess you know defin I enough with security no Lebanon didn't go with secur wow wow and did you dress up the parts in Lebanon as well no not at all walked around casual yeah it's a modern country it's not people don't wear leanon people not religious yeah it's it's actually the most unreligious um what's it called Arabic State yeah like a middle um what's it called Middle East Country basically that there is really yeah I mean there's Hezbollah and they take things very very seriously they take Shir law seriously but in terms of in terms of the regular people that live over there they're more they're more they're more like um there's like nightclubs and there's drinking lot like in Qatar bah there's no they don't have any clubs and things like that or even in Dubai now it's becoming more moderate and stuff but when I was there like 12 years ago you were only let's say allowed to drink in like certain specific Hotel zones out of that like me I was actually there with my wife and we were by we're by like um in Abu Dhabi by the great the grand the the great mosque which is gorgeous and we were you know my arm was around her like taking a picture and then there were police they came over to us said you're not allowed to do that so you know no public affection exactly thank God they warned you by the way and didn't just arrest you we've heard those stories you know happen where people got arrested for something so little you know exactly and that the they don't play games in a lot what's your what's your rules with going into mosques or churches I'm curious have you got into mosque I've got to mosque yes absolutely so in terms of a Jew there's no issue going into mosque at all because they believe in the same God that we believe in they call him Allah we call him Hashem but they don't they don't believe in it's all it's all one they believe in in one God so there's no issue in terms of that wow wow when you were in Lebanon or even in Afghanistan like what did you do there what was the recreational activity that you did when you went there so it wasn't more as a kid I always had an interest in the Middle East I don't know if I don't know exactly why I can't I don't have one specific thing that I could pinpoint it or you know say that's the reason I always had a I always had an interest to travel in the Middle East maybe just because like as when you're young you're in school and you learn about the Bible and all these historic events took place over there I just felt like I had a certain connection exactly to them even though I was never actually there I just felt like that whole area I just you know wanted to be in you know let's say like Egypt just You' been to Egypt I've been to Egypt yes I've been to K I've been to the pyramids and it's one of the most amazing sites that you could probably see in your life inside the pyramid you don't go actually inside right no but you take a horse I you could take a camel horse or walk around the Sphinx and it's it's a site that's like he you don't forget you know I remember being in Peru and someone mentioning like this is one of the wonders of the world right have you been missing out on any of the Wonders actually Machu Picchu really I think that's the only one that's the only one tell us what the other ones are so the the great wo of China yep you've been there which is also amazing which is and you walked on the great world yeah the actual that's a wall so you actually walk because it's actually like a ramp I mean thousand it goes for I don't know how many miles or how many steps but there it's a very very large you can't walk end to end no it's impossible it's like I think I don't know but there's one place called bad which is probably about 2 hours from Beijing and that's like the main tourist attraction where like the best pictures and the best so that isaz what were the others um Taj Mahal in New Delhi and it's actually an Agra everyone thinks it's in New Delhi but it's it's an Agra in in you been to Mahal yes okay is it as pretty as advertised it is beautiful yes it's gorgeous and did they have like they make it into like a like a place where people can go and do things like is there like a like a market over there or is it just like not really it's it's more it's more remote like you know but there there are things next to it there's a place called Agra Fort which is a very Victorious site right next to it what is the Mahal what's inside so there's a shrine it's a shrine that someone actually built some maum okay someone built for their wife ah interesting yeah okay and but it just it's a gorgeous it's a gorgeous structure in terms of the colors how everything Sparkles nobody lives inside nobody there's no like Office Buildings there's no office building just like like a statue Prime Source exactly yeah sort of like a Statue of Liberty okay okay very nice that's two okay um the Sphinx are another one the pyramids the Great Pyramids okay Giza that's uh three uh how many are there in the world there's officially like nine I think right I don't know I think there's like a little less than a dozen seven seven well there's the new Seven Wonders of the World natural ones and then there's like bu like buildings I think that people consider oo so what else what others um what else C Greece I've been to Turkey I've been to Greece I don't know if any of the I don't know if any of the Wonders are over there no um most likely not what else is one of the Wonders so you haven't been to Peru yet I have not been to Peru okay that's one of the ones you want to go to right that is definitely one of the ones I want to oh then Petra and Jordan which I've been to it's basically there was a dynasty called the natine Dynasty and they carved out like mountains in the shape of houses which is beautiful wow it's in Petra Jordan there you've been inside I've been inside yeah that you could actually go inside people look there and no no no it's not it's it's it's it's just it's it's a it's a historic historical site it's historical site right I've been to a village in Turkey actually they have the hotels in the mountains oh that's gorgeous so I think there are actually some of because there ancient like wonders and then there's present day so I don't know if there's like different things and I I believe was the Christ the Redeemer in Brazil and Rio de Janeiro is one as well which I've been Brazil yes I've been there Brazil is a dangerous place there are slums there are neighborhoods that are bad like any country but in general anytime you're in South America you know like all bets are off like you know anything can happen so wherever you go you just can't keep you got to just you got to just you know be aware of your surroundings and don't go to the wrong neighborhoods and just stay out of trouble and you should what was the weather like in Brazil it was beautiful is it beautiful all year around um I don't know I think they have the opposite they have the opposite of us they're like in the other side like sort of like South Africa they have their winter we have our summer but where the Christ the Redeemer is in Rio de Janeiro it's one of the most gorgeous views it's called Sugarloaf Mountain and it is the most spectacular views that you'll see wow what parts of the world have you traveled where you felt like wow these guys have a talent that the world needs to speak about like you know something unique about the people and the culture that they do things so amazingly like you have to speak about it Italy in terms of the most Gorge beautiful place and so much to see in a small country I would say Italy has such a vast variety in terms of from the south let's say at malfi Coast you have places like patano and sento where has like like mountains carved out like houses on the mountains which are gorgeous with like the beach with the beaches in the background with gorgeous blue water and then you have so much history in terms of um pompe you have the Coliseum which is amazing you have just so much going on in Italy as well in terms of a small country that I think is amazing you know yeah and the I guess Italy is your top pick because well it just it's it's it's also in terms of kosher food there's a lot of good culture R has tons of kosher food um has there been a place where the you know you're saying that you know once you're there with the culture and you know people are nice but is there a place where there just it's just ugly it's just like the people you feel it when you when you step down just like L this like I'm not coming back here again so again it could be just a bad day and I I I hate to say this okay the ambassador of the country is not listening no no not that just you know could exactly or none of your business podcast no one from India can listen to the none of your business podcast were parts of India that I did not like and certain how did you know that I just didn't like it wasn't necessarily the people it was just let's say like the government like just it was stupid things but for me it was just annoying for example like I had a flight and it was delayed for like s or eight hours and they wouldn't let us out of the airport like if I would have let if I would have left the airport you forfeit your whole entire ticket wow no and that was just like I'm like I'm here for another seven hours let me at least get out I will go to town and see more like no you can't do that you can't leave nope they canot leave in the airport I guess for security measures so I guess kudos to them but for me as a traveler I did not enjoy them I'm just curious in the United States have you traveled the states I've been to some places maybe like 25 States but I feel like I could always do that not that I don't I think is the most beautiful country and an amazing place I I just feel like I could do that later on right now my passion is to hit up more countries as opposed that that is a good point Michael if you're going from state to state in America the differences aren't so discernible saying it's all very similar get some of them have certain you right different highlights but going country to country of course world changes of course everything changes the people Chang the culture change the landscape changes everything around you the language changes everything around changes I'm a big animal lover what country has some of the most unique animals so unique animals I mean definitely in South America you have Jaguars which you don't have anywhere else in the world cool have you seen Jaguars I haven't but I'm just just in general yeah um I may seen in but not not in the Amazon or whatever um but going to going to any any any any Safari you know um I went to choby park in batswana we had elephant Crossing in the road and that's something I think about from time to time it was like Wow over here we have deer which is pretty cool over there was actually elephants crossing the street you know like a few blocks away from up traffic cuz there an elephant cross yeah I mean there not much traffic going around but yeah it was pretty pretty cool I mean but when you go over there you see the most you know Lions which are only technically in Africa I mean there's mountain lions here locally but no you I'm curious you have a nice watch on right it seems like you're a good you're you're a watch guy right you like you like nice watches to some do you weird them when you travel to these places no usually so you're conscious about this it depends weird though where I'm going if I go to like a regular like a place I don't have to worry about safety in any bit I do take it otherwise I I want to talk about from the questions that we asked you earlier um you know did you get through this question about any friends that you made traveling around the world any friends that you made that you can say like you know what yeah I'm still in touch with that person or I can't wait to go back to spend time there so not really I made a lot of friends and certain people that say in Thailand I met someone to Thailand yeah that's an interesting place Thailand yeah wow Thailand is like Asia yeah but I feel like Thailand is very everyone in Israel who finishes The Army Goes the Thailand yeah it's like Americans is more exotic huge kabad presence here great chabis programs one the biggest p saders in the world there's about 1,800 people whoa that I didn't even know Shang yeah interesting one of the biggest why what's going on over there because it's cheap so Israelis travel there usually like Michael said after the Army and in general very cheap and it's a lot of fun and just great Vibes all around there like there's so much stuff to do in Thailand Tha then actually by a Friday night dinner I met somebody that I actually keep up with he's actually like a French producer and I keep up with him you know like from time to time just sayy what's up like how are you who text do you have yeah we're not very close but there are people you know I met a lot of cool people you know around but I don't necessarily keep up with anyone specifically or feel like I want to go back to that place to meet that person but in general I have acquired friends in a lot of different places what is your favorite trip of all time that you did so again it's it's every place you go to or everything had a unique story or a unique um experience I don't know if I have I don't know if I have like a favorite place or a favorite trip that I went to every place that I went to had a different uniqueness to it I have to tell you there are a few Travelers that I've started to follow there's someone named Ezra badonsky and then bny benette I don't if you heard of these guys and they travel and they record their travels and it's amazing and they say the same thing it's just impossible to pick one be the world is just so big and we want to just keep so many cool places yeah yeah so it'd be hard to you know pick a few favorites right um interesting and from all the places that you've been to have you ever had like any scary things happen to you like any like I maybe you got sick in a place and you have to go to their hospital and like you know you've been to a lot of third world countries right right so when I I came to Lebanon I did not have Israel on my on my on my passport not I knew it's you're not allow to have it and I did not come there with it and person by the security looks at me like a few minutes he looks at my passport really really slow he doesn't ask me he tells me he's like you were in Israel he tells me I look at him and I said look at my passport I know the laws you're not allow to come to Lebanon with an Israeli stamp and I do not have one so I'm not sure what the issue is and they said if I went there you see how many countries I've been to I have nothing to do with Israel if I went there I went to like any other country but I do not have it on my passport it's like wait one minute I said okay no problem so just like then it was just like a little like iffy like I don't know what's going to be or whatever and he comes back after a few minutes he's like okay he's like we take special security measure with you I'm like okay he's like I take picture from your passport I said no problem that sounds reasonable very reasonable I was like okay so good I'm good I could go he's like sure and that's it so just it was like a few minutes and not of the unknown right but while I once once I passed through the actual you know getting in you mean you didn't have a drone following you the entire time I don't know it's very possible you know we shouldn't take it for granted that the only country in the world where you could rely on some type of reasonable government that's not going to like prosecute you unjustly uh I'm talking about an extreme level obviously there's always you know local politics things like that but like if you go to any other country in the world all bets are off like you don't know what they're capable of they could do anything but in this country we're very fortunate that we don't have these kind of horror stories we don't have to worry about an official pulling out his gun and just shooting you and for no reason and they can get away with it like over here there's some like there's we are not just a like Democratic country we are a civilized moral country and the rest of the world isn't say Iran the the people that live over there are dying for peace with Israel and America they love of course most people I would say 80% of the country want that wait wait a second wow you're say you're saying something now that I I don't know if I agree with and I hope you're right okay you're telling me if you would pull Palestine Iran Iraq the people just the people and you ask them are you okay with what your government is currently doing what they stand for and what their mission statement is or do you wish this would all be eradicated and you could just live in peace and in harmony not just with Israel but with the rest of the world and uh let everybody do their thing and you're going to do your thing going to bother each other what what do you think the the people would come back with so I think the poll would be people who are obviously were brainwashed as a kid to hate or anything to hate western civilization and culture I think they would say no that they're not okay with their government stance and everything and they would and yes they stand for peace they stand for peace I would say most of the people but you just said if they were and brainwashed right but they have been already a lot of the people all they do their systems is teach them about the rest of the world is evil everything needs to be Sharia law there's only one God and we got to make sure that we're sending that message of spreading it across the globe at all costs whether it's murder whether it's becoming Martyrs whatever that's what they've been told right but I believe it's only the extrem extremist that actually do believe that I believe the day-to-day people yes go D person Iran you know why I I have a hard time believing it because at a certain Junction if the majority of the people truly had a certain will at a certain point there would be tactic to overthrow the government and for them to take control they wouldn't they try that look in the last year and a half what's going on with protests Iran women that took off their their their face their exactly and they came to protest and they got killed or whatever the case is they got jail no I understand that but I that's because I don't think it's the majority of the country people are just scared to stand up even if they actually believe in it just there is I think something that's eye opening or was eye eye opening to me is the fact that there's over two billion Muslims in the world so if you take a small percentage of it that's the extreme that's still millions of people yeah and that's what we're hearing a lot in the media that's what we hear a lot in general it's not the majority though it's really not the majority and it's a lot of people though doubt we have to you know I feel very sorry for I bought a car I bought a car recently from a guy who was an Iranian not an Iranian J an Iranian who his mother still lives in Iran and he says that he's proud and his people are proud that they protect the burial site of some of the holiest Jews that were ever alive have you been there I have not been there but morer is buried in hamadan and it's on my top 10 I so you haven't been to didn't mean to correct you in the person oh you were in Iraq then I was I been to Iraq oh Iraq close and definitely in proximity okay okay that's fast Iraq what's Iraq like so it was cool I actually only went to the northern part I didn't go to Baghdad at that point today I would go to Baghdad but I only went to Kurdistan was sdam husin at the time no no he was already out of power I only I went in 2019 okay so um I only went to the Kurdistan bar which is heral that's the capital of the kuris San Park and it was cool I was only there for literally like a half a day where haven't you gone to yet what's what's on your bucket list right he said that well again the top 10 list right you said there's there's Iran Iran right there's Peru Peru but not I don't know if it's my top I want to go there my my mind but it's not like what's next for you so I want to go to I really want to go to Guatemala okay okay that's very doable which is very doable close and there active volcano that's what active volcano so that's really what Peaks my interest would have been an active volcano like you actually see lava spewing out of a mountain at night that only happens a certain amount of time certain period of time right now it's actually active so well everywhere it's different we were I was in Iceland a few years ago and I hiked for four hours and saw an active volcano and it was beautiful and I have to tell you I watched people who paid for a helicopter trip to go over it and hover I was like I wasn't jealous of them was like what are you doing it's it's so different when you get why have to get so up close and personal from like thousand feet away 100 the concept of hiking and getting into it and then seeing the erupting volcano but I did take a helicopter over Grand Canyons and I definitely see the appeal to it it's something that yeah yeah it's definitely a good visual yeah yeah the view that you get in there is not comparable just to hiking and and looking at the M from that vantage point you know you know you you've met so many people you I'm sure youve thought about this before like I know you have a lot ofus right you come from a wonderful family I think your great great grandfather was the Cole AR if I'm not mistaken right you like that one we know this for a reason so well the reason why I'm asking is you know you know besides him if there was one person that you can actually sit and have lunch with and put on the Garb and feel like you're in the culture and you know you be a part of it question alive dead past future who would that be in one one person you get to choose one person you get to have lunch with SH that's this is a tough I thought the first two questions were hard definitely there's too many people give us some doesn't have to be just one give us a couple well what's running through your head yeah Gandhi Gandhi I thinking more like Moses type of sh okay you know K to Gandhi what would you ask Moses if you said just ask him how it was to how was your trip how how was it to speak to God how was it uh what would we all like to know right just um you know just that time that eror what was it like something more realistic please something a little bit more down to earth you know I get maybe Leonardo DiCaprio just because he's like my favorite old back there who he's a good one I liked all of his movies why would you ask lar DiCaprio just to chill with him you know just want to see what he's really really likeing just want to hang out with him for the day see if he's that same person that you've seen on screen I'd probably pick some type of athlete because I'm very shallow minded like that so I'd probably pick like you know Michael Jordan or something or like I don't know Tiger Woods you know pick their brain for a few minutes who traveled the world who was that person that you look up to that you say to yourself you know what wow that person has traveled cultured right absolutely in our circles um I don't know specific no I mentioned two already earlier that are in our circles yeah they travel they document everything every every week there the guy Drew binsky he's actually the he's been to every single country every country sing how many count are the world how many have you been to I think 65 6 195 countries wow 195 that's a lot that's too includ that's pretty so you've been to about a third of the of the world you've seen I guess so that's that's fascinating wow definitely definitely all you've been to Australia I've been to Australia what's that like so it's very far it's like is it worth the trip though I've always thought about it it's nice if you have a lot of time it's worth it but like just to go and come is like you leave here on the Sunday you get there like Wednesday wow between the 24 hours to get there and then the it's like 16 hours straight from California from New York it's a it's a it's a nightmare flight it's a very very long flight God I would I would to make it's like by the way austral I feel like does their own thing in general like Australia do they even have a military Australia like like where like where was Australia during World War II like what what did they play role in all this or were they like in their own part of the world minding their own business and they were jumping with the kangaroos I feel like they're doing their own thing out there they were like the country looking around the cor going hm interesting interesting should we get involved it actually started off as a as a British um prison that's how it started off you kidding what was that there was a UK it was owned by the UK okay and they by the the Britain the Brits they owned everything at one point they did they all over the place the British Empire was massive yes right they controlled so much of the world Hong Kong I mean even India have you been to Hong Kong I've been to Hong Kong yeah um Hong Kong is probably really fascinating it's very a lot of people have been to Hong Kong yeah it's it's probably so exotic it's very I me would you say it's like New York City like like Time Square all over the place certain parts the whole city definitely certain parts definitely that that Rush feel and I'm curious in your travels what is the most advanced country you've ever been to and what is the least Advanced country to so the most advanced I would say definitely probably United Arab Emirates just because it's technically whatever they do is the biggest and best true and I mean in Dubai every every building that they do the the Bri Khalifa is the and how quickly they've built it is so fascinating definitely the most probably I would say probably the one of the more advanced you slept in that sevenstar hotel I did in in Dubai right it's called the Burge Khalifa The what's it called the Burge Khalifa Burge Khalifa and what does it cost the night I'm sorry the bir khif is a building it's called the Burge alarab okay okay Burge alarab I'm happy that we straightened that out so so how much does that cost for the night I don't know but every night but a lot of nights the cheapest room is like $2,200 22 wow that's a lot of points that's the cheapest they take points yeah that's the cheapest room okay and like what's the rooms like like what is it so they're crazy they're like a two floor site every room is a two floor sweet minimum yes in the Rob yes and a lot of gold a lot of blue a lot of Trump would make a room that's what it would be like he has Hotel so but I mean to say it's just very very glitzy very not contemporary not modern everything is very very very a lot of exactly a lot of blue a lot of gold a lot of red you've been to Oman yeah I've been to Omar that's a dangerous place is it there was at one point Poss a lot of Civil Wars over there like there were there was like gunfights it's right next to Yemen so yeah Yemen is not a very friend place right now it's a little bit definitely civil war going on there now with thees and stuff but um man yeah was in muscot it was just you know City M do me a favor give us some travel tips how to travel in a Savvy way you know what what are some of the things you learned over the course of your travels that uh can maybe help someone you know travel better travel lighter travel more efficiently you know give us some tips some I'd like to start that question with saying if I have you know a budget of going one place this year and it's a normal budget that's also a great question right like how do I start where's a good place to start yeah so I I guess every single per it's a very personal question for that sure it's very individualized for that person because every person has something else that they like but for avature for someone that doesn't want to get too intense what would be your recommendation to start do you want to have fun do you want to go to we're done with Miami what's next that's the question Pi Place what's we want to go somewhere you know a creative place you want to anywhere in the Caribbean a lot of fun okay all all over the Caribbean not much to do here but just a lot of fun that's more for relaxing yeah so you're looking for sightseeing yeah sightseeing and to go and you know do something embed yourself in a culture like you know I mean yeah yeah I guess that's what it is yeah um well certain parts of Mexico have a lot of culture and a lot of history to it I mean we will have been to Mexico even like two hours away from from Cancun I one of these exotic far away places something like Tom's River ex a lot of culture there exotic um definitely I would say going to Indonesia to Bali oh okay that's something that's like whoa cuz people actually believe I mean this Buddhist over there and they actually you see them bringing like sacrifices to to to Buddha they bring like fruits and things like that and there's temples let's say even in India so I'm saying in terms of culture like something different like from a thousand years ago people that worship the son and believe in different things that's definitely up there I mean in in general Indonesia is a Muslim country but Bali is considered more more Buddhist it's very attainable to go there it's not it's not in terms of attainable in terms of MoneyWise in terms of uh in terms of can anyone just go travel there I would say Thailand probably because maybe just in terms of cheapness because everything's very affordable over there hotels are great and they're very cheap right is they have like sections of Thailand that are more modern and they have like absolutely yeah yeah interesting so it would make for a nice vacation even definitely great vacation they have gorgeous beaches as well also nice beaches beautiful one and it's a safe place to be very safe and they have Co of food there all over yeah all over not all over in the mean cities in pette there's koser like restaurants and and there's kabad house and there's like a like like a corporated restaurant okay um they have like supermarkets there like normal no not not Kosher wise I mean for anyone who's let's say looking at something different than Miami like getting back to your question I would say Panama is a very good choice okay we actually we were there we were there so it's this 18 kosher restaurants here yeah Panama's got to be one of the hubs of kulture food right now definitely it's absurd every other day another place pops up and very affordable very affordable and delicious amazing and the cutest monkey good restaurants the cutest monkeys and the Monkey Jungle the Monkey Jungle the only issue with it there's no if you like beaches there's no beach in town you have to go two hours right you got to take that little helicopter ride for like an hour in terms of city-wise and culture I love pan wow before we let you go uh first of all that was an amazing amazing uh Journey that we took together you know I'm living by Carly through you for the past hour and I can't wait for more um I can't wait for more two-hour discussions outside events uh one of the uh things that we'd like to do here on the N business podcast is we'd like to ask you to think about it for a minute and pick someone that you think would be a good match for us to come onto our podcast to bring value and someone we can learn from is there anyone particularly that you have in mind that you yes we're putting you on the spot and we'd like to ask you to call that person now put it on speaker call that person yes absolutely that's the way we do it here call that you're in front of it doesn't always work for us by the way but when it works I feel like the audience has something to look forward to and you think they should do it as well you're totally TR it who who you thinking of I think my brother-in-law's name is Mor weberg Mor Weger yes the therapist Mor therapist that lives in Lakewood lives in Lakewood he has a um he has a place of M called Serenity Health oh wow whereas for mental health he comes like twice or three times a week so he so he leads Serenity Health which is one of our partner Neil zman's companies correct and um they yes and they actually just started a version of the podcast together with nahi called pause talking about mental health and challenges and and really going on a journey that is going to be very exciting so I'm excited for you to call him you can let him know that one of his ex-patients Michael grii is sitting in front of you I've used him a couple of times for therapy sessions and he is on the money wow look at this yeah he was your therapist yes I used him two times he was honestly he was a little too similar to me in many ways so it didn't really work but I loved his energy and I loved what he has to say get him on the horn right now let's do this let's do this okay how are you you know we're we're on the podcast and we asked him to pick one person who he would pick that would bring value to this podcast he didn't even have to think about it for a second and it was you by the way not BR like my special so part of their question is they want to know who could bring something to the table so obviously I thought about you are you ready to come on our podcast you've been chosen yeah sure absolutely I just don't I honestly don't know when like like amazing we'll fit you in thank you love you thank you very much we appreciate you being here and I look forward to all the journeys that we here about together with all of us and may we all continue to take Journeys all the way to Jerusalem well it's a nice Michael I'll say m we should probably do more podcast just so we can catch together we don't have to do podcast lot of got no no today if you want if you want time from hushi and you want to you know catch up gotta be behind mics and cameras yes I got to get a different hobby that you could have me here again
