hi everyone my name is mort kessler i was born and raised in brooklyn i had a very secular upraising aside from being in true for my own bar mitzvah until recent years i never went to a show of my own accord for purposes of praying i thought well i'm going to meet this religious ultra-orthodox straight-laced judgmental man who was going to look down my nose upon me because i was not the least bit religious and that he'd probably have little patience with me and my secularism and when the first time we met we talked torah for about an hour or two and then we stayed and chatted for another another couple of hours after that and we very soon became very fast friends uh i've got to tell you i'm still very shook up about what happened to him it's it's just unbelievable he would make me think noah and i together have gone through practically all the postures he would elicit from me the kinds of things that i never thought about in my life things that had considerable emotional impact on me the most important thing that i saw for my father is you think you're always giving to others you're the one that oh i have to go make this phone call i'm gonna have to prepare and i have to give and i'm gonna always being on the teaching side bottom line is it's a two-way street you both gain you both grow you both come better all i can say was he he was a good man and i i miss him very dearly you
