The Torah tells us If a person follows the way of the Torah, the Schar is so abundant. The Torah tells us, You'll have an abundance of rain. Your crops will flourish. The Aibishter will watch over you. There'll be no more October 7ths. There’ll be no more terrorist attacks. We’ll live in peace and tranquility. We’ll be at peace. We’ll be able to perform Mitzvos without any intensity and anxiety and pressure. And the Torah concludes with a Bracha which seems very odd, And I will not be disgusted by you. I will not be repulsed. How does that fit into the sequence of Brachos of I'll give you all great things. What does that mean? The illustrious Ponevezher Rav was sitting in an airport once, back in the day, and a person who was sitting in the same waiting room was a Chaver Knesset, an irreligious Chaver Knesset, and he recognized the Ponevezher Rav. And he went over to him to greet him and say: Shalom Aleichem. And the Ponevezher Rav jumped up and grabbed him and hugged him. And the person said to the Ponevezher Rav, If you'd only know the Aveiros that I have done, you would never embrace me like this. And the Ponevezher Rav said back to him, The Aibishter knows exactly who you are, He knows exactly what you've done, and He loves you. How can I not embrace you and love you, too? The biggest Yetzer Hara a person has is to say: The Aibishter doesn't want me, He doesn't need me, especially after I've fallen, and I wasn't careful in doing everything that He wants me to do. But the person has to remember, The Aibishter loves every Yid, no matter if you’ve slipped, no matter how many Michsholim you had, no matter how many times you’ve fallen, the Aibishter loves you. ולא תגעל נפשי אתכם is the biggest Bracha. No matter what you do, the Aibishter loves you and He will never reject you. The Gemara tells us in two different places, אב ובנו שבעלו נערה המאורסה ביום הכיפורים. A father and a son committed the most heinous crimes, adultery, on the holiest of days, Yom HaKippurim. Rabbi Wenger told me: You know what they should do next? Daven Mincha. The Aibishter wants your Avodas Hashem, no matter what you've done. You may be punished for what you've done, but the Aibishter loves you and wants everything you have to give Him. I want to give you just one small suggestion. I recently heard a story from my illustrious uncle, HaGaon R’ Mottel Weinberg זכר צדיק לברכה. A young man called the office, the Yeshiva office in Montreal, I must speak to the Rosh Yeshiva. I must speak to my beloved Rebbe, R’ Mottel. And the secretary says: There's no way I can put you on the phone with him now. He's in the middle of Shiur and Shiur is Kodesh Kodashim. He cannot be interrupted. The boy says: I need him urgently. Please, please, I must speak to him. The secretary went to the door and asked R’ Mottel, Please come outside. It sounds very urgent. That is the עצה. Wait three minutes. And the Aibishter will take you over the threshold. It will go away. You know, there’s a bumper sticker: Hashem Loves You. It's not just a bumper sticker. The Aibishter loves you. The Aibishter is willing to wait for you. Hashem sticks with you.
