I was never really the best at math but it's just all simple [Music] numbers a person goes through life every single day living trapped in the Whirlwind of the world chasing after the desires chasing after whatever fantasies you realize most people don't never stop they never stop to look up at the sky as RAB nman says just just a stop look at the sky look at it stop Daydream a little bit everybody's running a rat race really chasing after the world we are told from the holy text themselves that the grave itself is Never full because man's desires are never fulfilled we also learn that a person dies without fulfilling even half of what it was that they set out to accomplish person has to stop you have to think what is my purpose what was I put here in this world to do if you ask most people people will be very honest with you that ultimately I know that I'm here to live a Godly life a life of Devotion to God God spares none the holy Torah tells us that God wants to be on our mind from the moment that we rise in the morning and the moment that we lay down to go to sleep when we're walking on our way that we're supposed to have Hashem on our thoughts we're supposed to be guiding us when a person stops and you have to make a decision in life we should be Consulting Hashem before we make a decision Hashem wants to live with us Hashem wants to be with us in our decision making and all of our Partnerships whatever we're doing in our business and our relationships Hashem wants to be involved and ultimately a life without him is not called a life of success King David already told us what is my success is closeness and Sh being close to God so it's not just you it's all of us we have to examine our life we have to look at where we want to be and we have to look at where we are case in point it's just a matter of numbers we have to look at our life if we can really look at our life and look at how much time we're spending watching the news how much time we're watching movies how much time we're surfing the web how much time we're spending talking with friends and then add up all of that time I'm sure there's many other things also and then we look at the amount of time that we put into our devotion how much time we spent with Hashem how much time we spent learning his Torah how much time we spent in Devotion to him I think for the average human being if they're able to look at it and be honest with themselves they'll see if it's a matter of numbers I dedicate way more of my life to the mundane to the things that don't have the name eternity attached to it the things that are here today and gone tomorrow and those things that will be with me for posterity I put barely any time to them I'm not rebuking you we just have to be honest with ourselves how much are we going throughout the day thinking about Hashem how much are we talking about Hashem when most people speak they talk about the things that are dear to them they talk about the things that occupy most of the real estate in their mind how much real estate does hashim have in your mind how much real estate does Hashem have in your heart this simple mathematics it's time for every single one of us to flip the scale let's start giving Hashem most of our day and most of our time give it over to him I guaranteed you it's a different life completely a different life all of that happiness that you wanted the Tranquility that Yeshua di peace of mind the success that you really want and everything that you're doing it's all by Hashem nothing that we're chasing nothing that we're looking for we can't allow it to leave our head that being with Hashem and being close to him is the ultimate success [Music]
