Listen, you got the voters to go out there and vote, which is very good. you got the voters to go out there and vote which is very special. Yeah. So what That's what it's all about. Helping and that's what my music is all about and that's what we we are all about and that's what it's all about. So let's go for 100%. Shut up it's all about. To reach out to the hearts, to the minds of people overseas, local, bringing communities together and discussing topics. I grew up in Hendon. Okay. Who's a person. I started off in power of the house. Went over to do the traveling every day the 40 minute 45 minutes in the traffic, you know, twice a day. >> [laughter] >> And It looks like it. It looks like it. All It took quite a while. It was a very tiring journey. By the time I reached here I was quite you know what I mean. I said oh no I'm going to you know what I Did my outing for the day. So then you should be kind of a business carried on to business mayor. And My mom is a so we have business in closing book in our family. My who I'm named after. I missed him by a few months. He passed away on keeper. I a heavy business he was he was a horse book of the harvest Israel whoever knows the rabbit today his grandfather so his father was Moshe she is my father father was a phenomenal one of the one of the biggest in vision it and my father my father's father would be the Gabba on Shabbos by him they had to when they learned they learned by night so there was a sham he shouldn't tilt the candle could I say the line you know the candle on Shabbos so I'm going to have to my Gabba show him that was my so we go back with generations of I've got visions running through my veins the kids so so that's right and at what point does the musical part come in so music happens later I would say I always had an interest in music I would say in my neighborhood I remember Barnett he used to come to London he would stay in our house and I remember I was like amazed he was he was composing at composition in the house in the house and I was like I was listening from the like listening we are synced and I had I remember those are the earliest days it's a musical family music to Shabbos meter I must yeah talk as I and talk as I could be that's what it is maybe maybe quite quite it was so shine half a dozen that's why I breathe this diamond stuff do a lot from the camera fish lemon get now there is it's a do under the things it's a musical and it Shabbos is based around singing. Out of the four hours by a tish I would say probably toy is what is is long 45 minutes okay so you have about two and a half hours of singing. So there's a lot of >> [laughter] >> Come to vision it's your give yourself a chance you know let loose. I'll tell you what singing music is bank mentions a lot of money and that's what the world a lot music but it brings the emotion it brings the right emotion and that's why music is is such a powerful tool it and and the Rebbe's use it to bring the closer and um, everyone in has they never used to be singers. The the industry music is a such developed. And, uh, it's it's beautiful to be in that industry. So, the essence of the subject In the Shiva Gedolah nights >> through Mhm. Actually, it's before that. I would say in Camp Agudah was the the Avrumi Salik He was in the middle of doing a choir. with the kinder dot and I wasn't part of the choir. I just again, hospital scenario, I was just listening to them rehearse. I had something pulling me to There was music going on. I wanted to hear what's going on. And by the break time, I told my heard he was trying to find a soloist for a certain song from the Vegas. It's called Shalom Erov. Cuz he tried the soloist and he was struggling. I told him, "I know the song and I feel I could do a better job >> [laughter] >> And, uh, he told me so he told me, "Okay, come back after the break." I went back. He says, "Okay. That's your It's your moment." And I I tried the solo and he tells me straight away. He says, "Tonight, you're singing this solo on stage." Wow. So, that was for me the first time that I'm actually opening my mouth in public. I was a shy kid. Mhm. You know what I mean? All types. The Salik one, beautiful. But, it's about Duddy Goldberg since I was born and they got some chicken and chips. Yes, I So, I took that. That was nothing to do with a recording of a tape. I had a tape in it. It's a rule. You know what I mean? It unfolded in the music. And nothing's a coincidence. Alice is in the end. What a question. In the day it was a little bit I started enjoying the music. So, and [snorts] she would say some of the some of the tells me there's a the recording choir for MBD's new album in Galko. The other like Ben Barack and he's inviting me to go. And for me this was a highlight. I'm going to see Mordecai Ben David in studio. Like it was it was a huge moment to to step into a studio. I was 16 years old. You know what I mean? It was like amazing. Kids he slaps me over. We arrive to the studio. So, kids about a gun 40-50 boys trying to get into the studio. They want to see Mordecai singing. They want to Kids so this book who called me his sugar was in the choir with Mordecai. So, we had like protect him as I go on. And Mona Rosenblum he's in the studio in the singing to someone in the in a great choir. So, Mona sing. Guy sing. Okay, he can sing. Kids came to my turn again. Sing. He said blow up. It was a moment. Kids so we I stayed there. Over there I met him in a month from bells and after the parallel. And after the Yes. >> [laughter] >> Also, he's he wherever there's music he would in those years he was there. He loved music. And he took my number. He asked me if I would come back for other choirs for studio and he invited me again. I went back to Yanni for sure we learned together in business in in in Ben Barack. I told him you won't believe where I was from the studio la la la la. Um and he says, "Wow." Kids of whatever you slept from then on, it was the in the choirs. We have Shmuel Kahana for the Daddy albums, for Moti Zimbom, MBD, um all my projects, Mona Rosenblum, and the Vana projects, Migavin Migavina highly from whatever was happening in the studio those two years, we were invited to and we loved it. I could say I picked up a lot of experience, you know. I was learning the industry. I was seeing how it's done, record the music, the vocals, the choirs, the mixing, the mastering, and then how it all it all comes together. And I was in I didn't want to write my name in the albums. We always we only wrote initials. Close up the mic. >> She and Gimmel, yeah. Exactly, yeah. It wasn't Though it was the best best outlet I could have had. It was the it was was a phenomenal thing, you know what I mean. It was it was the thing I was looking forward to and I felt I was thriving in it. It was very it was very special. And and from then so on, on and on Hashem. I'm going to have an opportunity to introduce the sponsor for this week's episode. It was done like a book that was under She and Gimmel of the of the credits. He was officially singing the chorus. Whether that step happen. So, same thing, you know, you enjoy singing. So, I was singing by friends business on doing and somebody else calls you ready to come and sing. Until then you asking people, "Can I sing? You know, let me let me do a duet with you. Let me let me sing at a business." And slowly it happens. It It just It's phenomenal. It's phenomenal how the Irish defeat the world. That that is the way to get a job. Like there's a painting, the whole world is a painting and we're a tiny little scoop of this painting the whole time. And and how things just fall into place. It's just beautiful. So, kind of an artist. Maybe just a celebrity in the kosher world. When is the when is the shift going to happen? Yes, I'd say it helped me into the world and stood celebrity status. I mean, it was It It You can't define the world's celebrity like Yeah, you becomes you make a noise, you become a you become a popular singer. >> [laughter] >> From when did they start charging for selfies? >> Exactly. >> Exactly, yeah. Because they're feeling like a selfie. How did it happen? So, I was singing in the school. Um on a on a boat. I should more singing. A friend of mine Gershy Moskowitz was on the phone with a cousin of his in in in America. And he mom and she loved what what he he was He was hearing in the background. It wasn't a clear phone call, but it looked again he he felt there was like an incredible vibe going on there. And he said he said he felt there something stood up to yell do. And I got angry that that's my CD. That's my CD. This is my father's house. At this point I'm 19. Um So it's my That's how I do a CD. So we go into producers. That was my first CD. Um She Mendelowitz went to um Yossi Teberg. We go We went I wanted to check out my options. Then we we were swimming. Yeah, exactly. What is the offer? What am I getting back from you? I want to do a CD. Well, okay, that's what you do. Okay, this is the producer, but what's my interest here? What am I What am I doing? So to Yossi Green. Yossi Green I just came with Yossi Teberg, who's a phenomenal producer. And [snorts] it produced my three albums. Listen. I say I say and we his skin. Now after this is Listen was my Listen was he was a miracle of album. Listen was phenomenal album. It's It It just didn't make sense. I did everything 2007. Yeah. >> [clears throat] >> So um probably more popular than the most album at the time. It was I I at the time they were putting it into one of the top Jewish albums. You know what I mean? Kind of the Jewish albums must be done in the in the top five of love that good the It was the full package. It was the the sound of it. It was the colorful songs. The singing a new guy kind No one has a clue who this person is. Got it from London. You know what I mean? Like It wasn't it was it was very it was interesting was different. So and and suddenly I'm getting calls overseas some to America for for events, concerts, dinners. And and it's not only I've got two songs three songs from the albums to us. Every song was Mackenzie again. That was a huge artist Maya. I don't know what we did to to to earn that that has a design. I was thinking at the time because it wasn't it wasn't so much You know what I mean? It's not it's not you figured it out. It happened it was a Seattle to smile. There's a nice thing there's Malcolm song is looking at the smile song. There's the Schmabenee very good. super local So from Pinky's do you have a shift time? Yeah. Good song from him I shall sing a lot of songs. But But there are stunning album. Every song was It was a big up. It was a very big >> of the the Marcus fantastic correct? Mark the the Marcus song itself the that was part of the recipe I would say of that album. 100% to bring the emotions there What was the story behind the song? It brought out the emotions from a few a few points. First of all it it brought out the the emotion of a good song. Yeah. Also it had the name it has a name in it. Malkala So everyone who's got a Malki at home automatically was singing >> [laughter] >> 100% so so there was a little hidush in it as well. And also the emotion of the story behind it. My Malkala, Bliana, she's 24 today. And you know, she was born with with her soft disabilities. And magazine we took the topic. We didn't you know, we we were we were singing about this topic. And that is that's what caught a lot of a lot of a lot of people overseas as well. And all the you know, the the Mishpacha magazines or cur- whoever was doing magazines at the time, they were all reaching out. Tell us the story, the Malka story, Kodesh Shluchim Shabbos Malku, vi vos ven and and Daughter wants to connect to the song. She knows you made it for her. >> I always tell Yossi Green he composed the nigun, yeah. When I went to Yossi Green to work on the songs Zuk mir Yossi, zuk mir epes wegen dir. Tell me something personally about you because I can't just write songs. Zuk mir yedn tog zingn es un. Tell me something. I want to connect to you. So, I told him ich zing yedn nacht to my daughter and Malki, oy oy oy Malki, Malki, Malkala. And what fragt er mir, vos zingst du noch dem? Oy oy oy Malki. >> [laughter] >> I just go over it again and again. Zuk mir you allow me to end the nigun. Let me finish the song for you. So, I told him please, but you know, I didn't hop the the godless. For half an hour he was just strolling on his piano up and down up and down. And he suddenly jumps up and he says Shkoyach Yossele. He just And I at that point I didn't hop even the magnitude of what he's so hyped and so excited about. And he just suddenly starts Kodesh Shluchim Wow. Shabbos am Malkala El toyich but ayicham. L'honi yach baruch ela. He said it should bring in a brocha in your house in the zchus of Shabbos am Malkala should Shabbos am Malkala krov el krov el ovoy. Phenomenal. It's like Yossi Green deserves such credit, but the the he's he's a composer once in a generation. But I feel the matana a lot. But I feel more than that. I feel the the matana that I used to get. They say somebody the I used to give this only to someone who has koach. Uh you know, a challenge. A challenge someone has koach. And I say no. I say no. When it happens, then came the koach cuz if you ask anyone before challenge if they'll be able to To handle >> withstand and handle it. It it it the answer is no. So I find with this to to give a song to be able to sing about it and help so many people, families with special needs kids is is just a samatana of an I used to do. Oh, wow. That's push it shot. Let's push it shot. When should push it? That's that's a story of of of the of the molecular song. >> Yeah. Nisim is also Yossi Pingle in London. It was the July bombings and he was going to take the train. I told him you know, I'll pick you up from the city and as he was coming out of the underground, suddenly all the emergency services were all arriving to the stations to that station. [snorts] And he always feels that a moment he feels like it was a nisan and the whole guiding him and how so he gets so he he came to my house afterwards and he wrote the who is the nisan. Mhm. Get to the stories must be I should have listened to them. I don't know what the hell I get. This is the beginning of the stories and emotions connected to them. Yeah. But but so I was thinking yeah, this is more like what you do as a great responsibility. I'll bet you I'm you can't create moods for mention, connections for mentions, emotions for mention. Um cuz you know I mention haters and ignorant people connected them with suddenly everything that happens over there. So, what's the highest? Yep. So, what do you say? How do we How do we manage the highest? Don't know. Ask me your English kind of puzzle. >> I I feel it's just a continuation. It's the highest that not only I have, it's everybody who is in the industry and I feel every individual surely has it. Are you have it? You have a tremendous you you Everyone influences people in a different way. I feel every person walking around in the street is a live podcast that adds them. Cuz what are we doing? We We're smoothing. We want to inspire, reach out to people and that's what we do the whole day. We We reach out. We We've got a tremendous responsibility. Our highest is to welcome people, to be happy towards people. You know, try and bring in peace in the as much as possible. You know, sometimes you could step in and you could be the game changer to help help a person and and put him on the right path. There's There's huge responsibilities here. And uh we have to utilize it. You know, not always do we do we maximize our potential, that's for sure. For sure um one of those things. But let me know if you have one trademark um where you try to really publish to to get them to Yeah, the man I'm if there's one trademark was really getting it's going to be a smile. Don't smile for Yeah, the man should This is a simple this is often gas. This is a smell >> [snorts] >> I don't want to guys you better come to this kind of dog I don't want to touch my hand. It's you you and it's it's an highest and and I doubt that I should be able to always smile for talk and really be the same thing. You know what I mean? I asked many times ask the daily through and I know I want to broker say but Amazon the same thing so I should I should be able to share the same thing with others. You try to bring it out in the music as well. You bring it out in the beginning. >> Yeah, you have to. You have to. You're You're on stage. You have to You have to reach out to the people. You could only do it by smile. And I'll tell you what, if you fake it for 120 years, you're a winner. So, how how many how much percent how much percent Are you doing very well yourself? How much percent of it is fake? >> [laughter] >> He's got an accent. Talker? Yeah. The first language is English. Yeah. English guy Some place. Yeah, Barry's. The climate of where you live is really what's my spiel on you. I mean, that's how it is. It's a you know, hunting it's something we have the Gemaras that are the you know, the English Gemaras, the the Hebrew Gemaras, you see the 60 shots of steak? Yeah, all these all these type of Gemaras, you see that still the camera that we're learning in Hebrew. You know that we get nishba from where we are and I feel even the music is nishba from where we are. You know in business it's a lot of the songs is from Romania. Like, you know that it's based on those music and the songs it's based on from where the to the Polish and again and so do this this everyone is nishba from where they are. That's from from what from from where we live is a very uh it it it has a huge huge impact. My my it was I was so he figured out quite well is in the modern Orthodox community. Like you can sing my husband is at the United synagogue and connects Yeah. You do that? No, I'll sing I'll sing by by all types of events, [snorts] but if you do that's all. You know what I mean? I have I've had a lot of stories we you know what I where I had to change course you know during the I'll go to the I'm sorry I'm not comfortable with the setting where it's going and please forgive me that I'm leaving. And 15? Um yeah. No, no it's a principle. I feel I feel it it doesn't make I don't feel comfortable to be in a setting that's that that that is not who I am. But uh I would speak to my I would speak to give us some who Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I told him I'm sorry I'm leaving now. You're not leaving now. So I told him I'm not here for the money. Trust me I'm here to make you special. I I have to leave now because it just it's not it's It's I told you beforehand there has to be mechitzahs. The moment the mechitzahs were coming coming off, I'm off. I'm I'm out of here. And it's it happens naturally, I would say. It's not a nisayon for me, but I feel bad for the machaten who's got his he's like Exactly. So, um yeah, I was lucky there was another singer at that event who carried on. But uh there's so many stories You need You need a podcast just for stories. If you know what I mean, just No, it's it it's it's like I just said, you know, similar halacha stories. I had once interesting stories. I know it was There was an event some I had the Also, he told me that it's not going to be there won't be mechitzah. He told me already on the phone. So, I told him I'll do the chuppah, but I can't do the evening. So, after the chuppah, I'm leaving. And I got a call that day from from who was it? Ah, from A Time. Last minute, are you available on the day? Not that I have to see it to prove that it's the right thing to do, but it's so beautiful when it when it happens like that. You say no to this event and suddenly last minute out of nowhere A Time Mosha couldn't make it his his flight whatever could you step in? And I'm saying, "Wow, I'm I'm available to step in because Yeah, baruch Hashem. Doing it 25 years already? Yeah. Still feel passionate about it? Still feel a drive for it? I feel like a beginner. Yeah? Mamish. I'm not saying a beginner with more experience, but like a beginner. Honestly, cuz like first of all, the music is changing the whole time. You have to be on top of your game. And you have to you have to treat it like always like mid-kiddish. Yeah. Yeah. How did you adapt to this Okay. I'm enjoying the production weddings. I'm I like them very much, but but I like I It's like It's like everything. It's like waves, you know, you can't always have only production weddings. You can't only have weddings with all of them. It's going to be a bar mitzvah. It's a dinner. It's a concert. It's nice to have the variety. So, even in the simchas itself, the variety of having here a production wedding, do us the three-piece band. Suddenly, you're back to a eight-piece band, 10-piece band. Here you're you're you're together with a few singers. Here you're on your own. You know what I mean? The the change it makes it more It's more interesting because also for the oil and the oil don't want to see the same production every night. And every has a different idea. Every color have different requirements. Whatever different songs, different vibes on the dance floor. Yeah, it's a bit uh There's There's a lot of more I would say there's more work on the singers these days because there's the platform of where everyone gets the music is so much wider. It's a do host 24/6 Spotify Zing host platforms. Everyone has access. They could reach to all types of songs, all types of music. So, the knowledge of songs is so much more. So, the requirements that come around give me this song for the hippa. I want to I want to walk down to this new I want to walk down to this I want to walk It's always you busy learning and trying to study new songs the whole time. It's more it it's more time consuming. And it's a it's a blessing. It's It's an honor to be doing this. You know what I mean? You know what it means arriving to a person's simcha? To become part of the family and to sing at the highlight when they walk the kids down to the hippa. It's so beautiful. It's so it I I can't stop thanking Hashem enough. From the time you in the industry, 10 albums. Last few years initial was the game kind of albums. Am I correct? And I think tomorrow you're releasing your new album. Are they out? Correct? So, it's going to be 10 albums. Yeah. 10 albums. Um tomorrow's album is album number 11. All different types. Here's a concert album alive. But, yeah. 10 10 it We're up to album number 11. Congratulations, Congratulations, London. Shulem is releasing a new CD. So, tell us about this album. Number 11. Yeah, I'm super excited about How long are you working on it? What's the concept? The video? >> for a few years. First of all, I want to ask Ari, what's your excitement for this album? I want to I want to hear from you. What are you What are you expecting? [clears throat] What are you waiting for? I don't know. Quality of music. Okay. I'll be honest. Quality of music. Um Um quality of the direction. Um quality of the combinations So, that song is is "Zai Gezin". Zai Gezin. Start. Um I don't know. I'm just excited for your wellness. >> Wow, thanks. I'll tell you why I'm excited as well. I know. Make sure you let your kids listen to this album, by the So So for me, the excitement is taking many years I've done. Yeah. Yeah. We have No. Yeah. We love you, Tati, you know. Next crack on. And it could be even it's not even your Tati didn't let you. Could be somebody else's Tati. You just remember the story as a kid. [laughter] What? It's huge excitement for me as well. This This new album is is mama's Uh The excitement is here that for years and you don't like to make the album. Mhm. And this is a good few years in the making. And I was gathering songs with The amount of songs that I've got in my library was I've gathered here is what I'm bringing out is mama's is a small percentage. But to be holding here, Yossi Green put me together with Donny Gross, a young producer who's very successful. He's got a good vision. Donny Gross presents. It's a It's a Donny Gross um production. And he's it He's He's a young producer, so he understands what the what the new generation wants to hear. But he's also connected to the oldest the older generation. So he knows my older music. And it I don't even bring to beautiful a variation of of different songs here. And I think I think I'm super excited for the album. I think I think this is as as a shlichus to be able to bring simcha and music to people, I feel that base of Hashem with this album we've hit it base of Hashem. Yeah. So who who's in who has been involved in the last I mentioned Donny Gross, what what does he do? Who what what what was his part in the project? And they they're composed in a game and also together but they're involved in their project. So, it's a lot we're putting out in the sham 15 songs. 15, who wrote it? >> songs. It's really 14 songs because one song is English and Yiddish. So, with the Ziger in song, we've got lyrics in English and then >> of it. and then Yiddish. So, who wrote them? Um why did that happen as well? Because we gave the lyrics to Lipa. We then wanted English lyrics as well. We didn't want to divide the song cuz Lipa's lyrics were so good. It was a shame to give up on a a half a song. You know what I mean? So, we So, first of all, we're doing a duet. So, duet is I'm going with Lipa on that song. And then the English lyrics is is on its own. Which is which is beautiful and a song composed by Hershy Weinberger. Phenomenal composer. So, that's one composer. And then we have Hotman and Yossi Green. Six in a game. Oh, wow. Phenomenal songs as well. The title track Adey Ad. A song Modeh Ani. You know what I mean? I always wake up in the morning and start singing. That's the song. Stunning song. Then we have a lullaby song Hamalach. Also in English and in Yiddish. Hamalach Hagoyel. You know, like you put your kids to sleep at night. Exactly. Exactly. It's about it's it's not the Shlomi Gertner. It's bringing the right simcha, the right atmosphere to people. And it's the it's the it's the shlichus. So, it's it's mom and child. I'm very excited about it. And there's a song Home Again. A English song. With Yossi Green geschrieben. Also a modeh'dige niggun from a medresh is the Zuk for Klal Yisrael. When are you going to be home again with me? So, he wrote it like the I've said, "When will you be back home again? Back home again with me." Also beautiful. Yossi Green is Kad D'Ora. What else we have from Yossi Green? We have a beautiful song. It's called Money and Nachas. Nachas and Geld. V'Sein Lanu Torah S'Voil. My father finishes Avdalah. He said, "Hamavdil Bein Kodesh L'Chol." He said, "My mama V'Sein Lanu Torah Daim S'Voil." So, I go to Yossi Green. I said, "Yossela, g'dacht a Nigen auf der Velt." He starts on the piano. I said, "Yossi, he's like he's he's in a good zone." Bein Kodesh L'Chol. V'Sein Lanu Torah Daim S'Voil. Zaraini V'Chasponi Yarbeh K'Chol. Chotai'ni Heim K'Chol. And then the hyper that Yomavdil Bein Kodesh L'Chol. Atfileh T'Seem Adoyin K'Chol. Zaraini V'Chasponi V'Chasponi Yarbeh K'Chol. Money, money, money, money, money, money. Zaraini V'Chasponi. Money, money, money, money for charity campaigns. Okay, surely. But the punchline is the Nachas, Nachas, Nachas, Nachas, Yiddishe Nachas. Chasponi Yarbeh K'Chol. So, that's another Yossi Green song. Exactly. So, that's that then we have Sruly Green. Oh, okay. Tell me more. >> [laughter] >> Yeah. Yeah. Sruly Green wrote two songs from from Sruly Green. Phenomenal Nigen. Hoidu L'Hashem Ki Tov Ki L'Olam Chasdo. Heilige Nigen. Och Du Welt Mit Eim. >> Nuchter noch an Egen a Shabbat This is really green as well. Surely with surely with excited you ever get excited to This is really good this is fresh Yeah. So I have a shin act again and from the greens. That's actually getting pretty green like it's really green. And then the issue Weinberg song and then do finna leap is a duet leap only did the lyrics. It's a wild night good song for the whole world. And then I am going to call you in the morning wrote a beautiful song and he shine over Libya. beautiful night I have a rank bump name Moshe Roth a music producer and it's a stroll called me listen to his songs and he told me no one's ever taken songs from him listen to his library talk a very very good songs. um They are not so good yeah I know bloom and steam to do a It's a croissant a beautiful song that I just made this a sham I feel it's a song with my kind of singing like my dad and he the kids can sing it in school I I felt it's a it's a tough list to give to give the if it kicks off to give the schools a a to sing with the kids in the morning which I says a righteous mirror to a sham inside of the whole of the time. So But I am it's I am super excited about I think I see that they launched a missile different. Let me hear them. I am going to make them all live launch for the CD and I am talked to them. Yeah. I am not so tired. Get the notes for my life or the Benny anyways can do notes. I am going to make them all live launch. We could play the actual CD live. That's what I'm saying. I'll sing together with myself live. >> [laughter] >> a CD Nothing more to No, what we need to action it. by the way USBs USB also is nothing. from 7 to 9 we launch the CD with a live concert. I think it's a good idea. I think it's difficult to to to get me to the podcast push because I'm I'm not a podcast my character I don't I don't connect to podcast so much but I'm happy that I'm here especially now you're throwing ideas that could benefit the project. I'm even happier that I'm here. >> [snorts] >> and I only I only I only tried you probably 20 times. Yeah, yeah, I just felt I felt before bringing out an album it just makes sense to to to podcast Yeah. Great idea. This is my budget. Make it happen. Not in this but it's not a problem. So, look we have to do the marketing and a launch party something. Those So, now that you're saying it, you know what Yeah. Hello. Forever and ever. So, do so listen to this but we have to we have to see We have to see what's what yeah. I I love the idea because but at some your it makes sense. It's a good advertising campaign and Yeah. Okay. Yeah, it happened there. So, so let We do ideas but I'm not close with anyone yet. So, I you know what I mean? I I want to But the launch of the Yeah, yeah. [clears throat] The launch is all happening. It's coming out. It's It's a size it How do you How do you intend signing? How much have you spent on the album and how much do you make back from from online listenings? I'm not mentioning the streamings. Wow. Wow. I think you're guilty of the fact Should I answer the question or should I wiggle my way out? Be a politician. >> [laughter] >> Okay, the exact amount how much I spent on it is difficult to know. Yeah, it's fair but what type of things are I would say that it's in the heavy thousands. >> [laughter] >> 20, 30, 40 k? Yeah, more than that. Okay. And the returns these days is very um is very different to how it used to be because in the olden days you sold hard copies like CDs. I can take it out and it's more of a steady income. Spotify can turn a few hundred dollars a day I put a lot of them through can also if it's a very very busy time. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, like now in the sphere suddenly the the listeners drop to to to come out nothing. You know what I mean? Like suddenly it it it changes. It it varies. And if they must do that 24/6 thing and call me on the platforms. They can do whatever they want. They pay you for the rights. So the idea is to have VMA listeners on these platforms because we're not printing CDs. We're not doing USBs. So it So that's where the That's where the revenue comes in from. It accumulates from there. And the project has to do with any of the new technologies like the AIs I come with also the stuff that I come with. The whole time we reach out to AIs I bring my friend to our show to idea lyrics. Give me Give me a variation for this, for this sentence. Give me four different types of lines and we'll choose the best one. You know what I mean? From a lyrical perspective, not from a musical perspective. Not to create the whole zach, but we we're noshing. We're noshing for a little help here. Mhm. But not music itself just could touch the Music itself. I wasn't involved in the music. It was all done by Yossi Grosser. No, no, but I maybe maybe you could do you could do on on on AI. A full album hunting the top 10. The MS, you could do it, but it's the same in the heart. >> Yeah. It's You know what I mean? Like this same AI could give five people the same music. Mhm. So, it's not going to be as personalized as you would like it to be. They brought them, yeah. As long as you put your signature there, that means you take responsibility for it. You're happy with it. And it's honest as it goes. Yeah, yeah, 100%. Yossi Green, um, and I'm wondering I surely surely tried to do it. Surely tried everything to do it. What's so stupid here to say? It's interesting you're mentioning this because because it just happened a month a few days ago as we're going to you guys we're finishing the project. Is it about all kinds of different the composers? Before the album came to us, let's take care of all the expenses. So, he told me, "Yeah, it came out already a few years ago um, on this and this album." So, kids out we were like What are we doing, kids? It's okay, but we're still giving it out. It's It's called Eir Shel Zahav. Yerushalayim Eir Shel Zahav. >> [snorts] >> Um but uh it's just interesting that we didn't know. You know It's a famous city? We wouldn't take Yeah, yeah. We wouldn't have taken the song if it if if we knew L'chatchilah that it's out already. So guys are Um no. The Olam Kenishto Ning, it came out on an album. Is that what you came on? It's just interesting how how these things work. You want to make sure your niggunim are totally fresh. And here we have a song that is I've had the song for ages. from Yossi Green was called out already in 2007 by the by the Nissan album. They niggunim Eir Shel Zahav. This is uh um And the hype about this Eir Shel Zahav Yerushalayim Yerushalayim Eir Shel Zahav The kids are Doesn't ring a bell for me. No, no. So it It's an old song we had in the library. And we thought we could use it. The wallet had come out already. But anyway, it's still It's still going on the album. It's the niggunim Home Again, for example. Also, we had it for ages already. Say I say times from 2010. So there's a lot of songs here that they've been floating around in the library that they've been waiting for a the right time for the right moment. And so niggunim Baruch Hashem. We have the Well, well, well, a composer of Machon Ning and I got this deal. Yeah. So I'll tell you that this whole album happened for exactly this question. Yossi Green calls me up and he says, "Look, I have so many songs of yours that I have to give away. What are you doing with these songs? They're going to be outdated. They're They're going to be out of fashion. Out Totally outdated. And they're good songs. If you're not giving them out, give them back to me." So, I told him, "Yossi, you're 100% right. But I My mind hasn't been in the productive energy of music, and I need I've been busy with other things, other events." I told him, "I need I just need you to help me put together the the the whole production team." He went to Donny Gross. Donny worked with Shloime, did a little bit of that. He put all the dots together, and it happened. Thanks to Yossi Green for for bringing it like this together. So, that's that's really what it is. Mhm. That's what You know what I mean? You You need Very often people ask, "What's my producer? What's my manager? What's my It's not always having the name. I've got a producer. I've got a manager." I need someone You need someone to tap into the bring out the right energy. You need someone to make things happen. Is that right? You're still manager? The boy to learn. No, I see I've got I've got a I've got a manager. I've got a agent. I think Yeah. Yeah. And currently you're without agent. Yeah, currently I'm without an agent. And And in America, I've got Gershy Moskowitz. Mhm. I would have just lost the nation on lost the nation. No. You take your bookings yourself? Yeah. You wanted that? You preferred that way? >> or or here and there, but you know, there's there's party planners that take care of it. There's always uh There's always a different different angle. I got tremendous gratitude cuz I tell you you mentioned Shloime Wachs all We had good good solid years. We just sometimes, you know, you feel you know, you move on. Next step. Next step. And but he was uh he was a good manager. He did some good things. The Yerushalayim project we did with him. Did some nice nice the guy culture was on a concert Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'll tell you what, I try when I finish working with someone not to fall out with them. It's very important. It's very important that Aibishter gave us a planet. And time is the most valuable thing. Sometimes people are busy arguing. It takes up the time. That means you're better off doing nothing in that time than arguing. You know, it's it's such a beautiful world. But I am it's such a beautiful world Aibishter gave us. And if things are in in peaceful terms, everything is dark and shalom. It's it's a whole different planet. No point. No, sometimes we need to go to the entire year. We have to go, but we still have to know So, I'll say it's first of all not a muscle way off camera. >> [laughter] >> Yeah. And what's the talk here? So, I do have I do have overseas call me in a Mhm. that I work with not that I do work with. And even you mentioned Waxel, he'll also call me up for events here and there. But I'm not strictly under his umbrella. Shaz? Mhm. So, that's that's all it is. Um no. No. It was just it was it was just easier. It too too many commitments and I don't like to commit. >> Mhm. >> [laughter] >> I'm from London. I don't like to commit. Exactly. So, Fill me in on the you're old singer. 10 albums, now 11. Um Tomorrow, 11. Tomorrow, 11. Can't wait. Can't wait. This is our Korean music was and twice the difference between the UK music industry and Israeli [snorts] or the American industry is Rochak Mizrach Ma'arav. That's why I'm super excited to live in the middle. Yeah. 4 hours Israel, 7 hours America. You could nourish from everyone. You could visit there, you know. Have you ever considered relocating? I did. I did a few times. Tour to Monsey, Lakewood. Oh, yeah? And uh and Borough Park, I didn't go. London rocks. London is the place to stay. >> It's lots of love. The Why didn't you go to Borough Park? Why didn't you go? Because my family is here. As you grow older, you realize how important it is to be near your family, your parents, kind of harder, you know, with the with the siblings, with everyone. It's a family simchas. It's not always another flight, another two different galaxies. It's nice. It's nice to be local. And also, London has a charm. Has a beautiful place, you know what I mean? People like Ari Ari is a big supporter. Ari is a big supporter. But, Taka, everywhere is beautiful. You know, I love it as a thrill. I love America, but I love where we are as well. It's nice. It's very very very very great. It's beautiful. It's beau- It's Taka beautiful. Look, wherever you If you want to enjoy America, guide it with a 2 3 weeks. You go some holidays. Guy for bring a Yom Tov. Guy I'd rather go to Maldives or Monsey. Sorry. And the Bahamas. No, but those places are you know go you go to a place like Lakewood. It's a It's buzzing. It's happening. You know, for me it's a very shiny house and we can go four-bedroom flat in Tottenham. The flat is for me. Yeah, yeah, I hear what you're saying. I think it's only 1.5 million dollars. It cost my garden in the front and a pool in the back with a barbecue station. To build a similar area here. Do it. You'll have You'll have plenty of time. Number one is us. Let's come out and straighten the land with the acres with the house of the community. But they promised. Right also a little bit. There must be areas. It's It's almost impossible to build infrastructure for night and you and they place us the month after the infrastructure with the groceries with the restaurants with the vibes with the shield. Yeah, but they built it quickly. I think they don't build it I'm going to I'm going to be successful. They place the liquid but can I kill a liquid in my blood? Was I going to be living with the fish and we can multi is going to be scratch and build multi push gets Yeah, but 30 years ago what was it like? I'm going to multi wax for multi spring valley multi Panama. Put it on the morning put it on I can nail location. Do in England limited for land to have limited in mind the the main difference is in America when the difference when the relocate to another place where the difference and I kill a house to put in the mansion was I was interested again. I'm doing London and you're right and it's really even that the device the device is strong in America. Move Expo that I don't know if I organize that that would want to get to Florida and those that struggle. Can I just say but if you're in Canada and you're in West Cliff here. Can we Can we Can we not put on some 10 year 11 year in the 50 families this month? 12 mention year? West Cliff had 80 families. 10 mention year? So what's next? It's a kind of stock dude so go to Tottenham Hall with 100 square meter for 1.1 million because we came from massive in America again. There's in the gooless. Gooless had the commitment that I gets the I into that feeling very much. The and architect decides the one debate type of English was the kind. What can say back in the the lock. Cubicle material souls. Mechanics torsion you need you need the right the right um development, the right piece of land. Take take what is Monsey? 4 by 4 square miles? Monsey is massive. No, but what is it? The What is the kind of location? I think it's 4 by 4 square miles. All sorts of waxing but fresh doing this stuff for the family. 7,000 7,000 families. It's pity. And the community is actually fine. Surely no can become a thousand votes. Think about it. I understand the beginning. From Handen is also Handen is also more of a green area. Bit of more closer dots over there. You know what I mean? It wasn't an easy thing. The rabbit told me it's head for the clinical of the kids. I'm better off to be here. And and I went with it. Mhm. Um and I should have a matter but but it's a it it's yeah, it you could almost say it's a sacrifice. Yeah. Yeah. No, but someone who likes the good things in life. You know what I mean? It It I can join I can't I can't just not to go further. One day is the end of when I do. I'm going to want to see. No, I don't do it well. >> [laughter] >> What? But that's what I'm saying. That's what I mean. But um no, I wouldn't do it for you. I feel like I wouldn't let you down. We wouldn't let down London. Cuz as long as you do have a greater chance of things winning out in the village within the next 5 to 10 years getting down on all bits and pieces. The Green Party with the other We don't know what the I'm starting to plan for. Cuz you know what? What what is the worst time? You guys kicking out the other guys not interested in what I'm looking to do some and in Europe. I tell you guys I'm like even though I would die for the other rapper but I would lose the ability guys to run with the link that I sent to you Stein to run the crib you have to you have to give us the universe take my breath away. What is the state of the world today? What is the state of the world? I think it should be different. Should be based on the shamash here will come you out. London London will become a We will look at the uh a part of Israel. Yeah. What what is that a fact? And then it will make make things more simple. London is great. London is fine. How is the anti-Semitism is a facade level that it's not media propaganda. That's my opinion. Look, facts and some other tool event and some other stabbing event in Old Green. Yeah. Yeah, this is the point. The point No, but I just like to argue with you all day. That's all. There's definitely hate. The way it's going is not looking good. It's kind of a sudden suddenly peace and ranking my my government. Can happen. At the moment it's not looking the way it's going. Not looking good. The kids are winning. Hashem needs our prayers. We have to govern for Yeah. No. >> [laughter] >> No, granted politics is a nice topic. It's just It's just not so musical. Exactly. Yeah. It's just So so let's go let's jump back into the musical part. Um Take me back Take me back to um some of your biggest events that you've um that you've done any and the biggest challenges involved. >> a big event I would say something like uh 6 years ago MetLife. Siyum Hashas. Siyum Hashas. Mhm. It's something that you know, if you told me to put something on my resume >> [laughter] >> that that event to sing for 100,000 people who just finished learning Shas. And to sing An'im Zemirot. Oh ya ni. It's It is you know, the song the Milchamah song the An'im Zemirot song is just it melts your heart. I remember it was a freezing day, but it was a yeah, Mogilev daughter was a whole bunch of a lot of singing going on. That was That was something special. And How do you How do you feel when you get the phone call? To sing at such an event. >> So Gershy Moskowitz calls me up and he says, "Shloime, your name has come up for the Siyum Hashas. Pencil in the date." Mhm. And as we were getting closer they were preparing it was it was this he's He tells me, "You're confirmed." Mhm. And um it was phenomenal. It was just It was He's He's very much involved in the planning over there and everything and he it just it was I couldn't believe it. I could It just to to hold a mic in a stadium like this and to sing in Mehedrin and you it it's such a highly event, you know, as well. It's It's very special. You told for that event or this is probably >> I'm noazy mensch die surely. cuz you would think it's something it's such a prestigious thing that I should pay them. potentially I don't know what Believe it or not, we get paid for it. was came to exhibit in Miami Yeah. is young boy I got to make that effort 50% discount the guys I Okay. I don't know what It makes a bit It makes a bit of sense but you I came to encourage using me as a marketing tool. So this is a channel sorry I'm I'm recycling No, but your question is I hear where you're coming from but So we're giving you this opportunity to think at the same time as do you want to do it? Yeah, yeah. It's not It's not like that. No. And being being on stage in front of I don't know tons of thousands or hundreds of thousands of people we perform in front of them in this studio stadium In in the stadium there I think there was about 100,000. Singing in front of them and you remember what we'll go through. Yeah, what it's it's phenomenal. emotion and that or that You sing sharp and flat is the emotions take over. Yeah. >> [laughter] >> That depends how good you hear yourself in the in ears. That's what it's It's all about. You know, when I sing when you're singing on stage it's all about how comfortable and how natural is the sound. You know, if I sing to you now I I could hear myself, so I'll sing in pitch. If you've got all the instruments and if you're you're in front of the drums and you got the snares, you know, it's not even Yeah, so you have to you have to simplify it for yourself. You have to tell yourself, you know, but I ate some This is the song. Imagine singing it by a khasene. You sing it in a stadium and yeah, and you hope for the best. Yeah. I think we'll actually make it country Lincoln in the description, but I don't know if it's anything to do with the second for the links in the description to listen to the album It's a Sham. Be Ezras Sham. And I definitely look very much forward to listening to it. And what's What's your message? What's one message you want to give over? Hey, do you have some my question? I have Ari's question. Sorry. I know I got your question. Go go Go back. Go back. You got to go back just 30 second message. 30 seconds for mention anyone wants to hear. What's the message you're going to give to the mensch? That you come out. We can take time to think. Doing the being in the music industry is very time consuming. Cuz you don't have consistency timing. Here you're traveling. Here you're waking up after 3-hour nap sleep after Here you wake up after 5 hours. Like you always you know, getting come later from from a wedding or from a simcha or traveling and everything. So there isn't the consistency of having a seder yom. So it it affects many things. It affects mainly my learning have resources. So, I feel very often there's a certain guilt like I'm a middle of a of I've got a side of my of my learning of the the Gamoras and the have resources. This message to this message to and different topics. So, there's a certain guilt that I feel that that I should be learning more. So, I feel if I could give a message to people to enjoy the consistency in life and to utilize the beautiful quality that Hashem has given which is time, the most precious thing to do more Hashem to help one another to learn Torah because as Talmud Torah is even greater than the futures. Could you imagine a comment like that? I recently learned it. I said well, it's like it's mind-boggling. Talmud Torah is greater than saving a person's life. It's like but it makes sense cuz that's what the world was created for. So, the message is really to utilize the time to be happy and to thank for every for every moment that we have in in in feeling good. I always say by the time you you you brush your teeth in the morning that you could get out of bed, go to the sink, brush your teeth. It's a it's a blessing. We just got to thank Hashem for that. And to walk around and say good to have joy for every step in our beautiful world. Amazing. Beautiful, Shlomi. Shlomi, it's a pleasure having you, huh? I can't wait for the See you tomorrow. >> yeah. Let's dance. Let's vibe. Let's be emotional. Let's enjoy the season. >> I'm happy that you're looking forward to the project because you've got that excitement from 2007, the Nissan album. >> Yeah, yeah, yeah. And for me it's such a good feeling to be able to to to tap into that that window because at the time I didn't I didn't have the success. You only see it afterwards, yeah? You don't because what did I do then different to what I'm doing now? But we realize as you get older that every every successful person has it's not yours. >> [laughter] >> Why is it a generation? You're telling you're telling me that Yossi Green, one of the most legendary composers we've had in our generation Can get better. >> [laughter] >> So hopefully in 2046, we look back at this meeting saying 2026 when the album came out what a success album. And may we have a whole bunch of projects till then I shall have. I'm very excited for it. >> [snorts] >> local election is a good good score for all of them can be voting. We really appreciate it. at the next episode. Promise me you will keep your word. Let's finish off with one nigan of the album. No. Every year can be that spark. Light the fire, lift him higher. Father. With lip and and then the English is on my own, yeah. Nice. Very looking forward We're looking forward to it.
