BLACKOUT | Episode 4: Work Flow

it's cause you had your guards up yeah you was blocking and i wasn't honest but i wasn't talking to date i would say at least 90 percent of my songs uh begin with my brother-in-law 120 music elsa brown we just have uh we've been friends since we were five years old and then we became brothers-in-law uh we married sisters and uh we all converted actually to judaism together so it's been one big family affair the amazing part about working with somebody that you're actually close to like that is just the chemistry the camaraderie once you get us in a room together it's just sort of like those things start to flow with the start of the hook and we do 16 for the for the verse and then in the breakdown let the face break down after that his genius is just the ability to adapt to the culture it's just huge he's a very fast learner and his ear for music is amazing and he's one of those guys that where you can bet on him to figure it out like you know what i mean if there was a certain sound as we progressed and i wanted this type of sound or this type of sound you could just definitely count on him to be able to figure out how to get it to you and how to deliver joseph produced for me motherland bounce he produced wind uh he produced best friend fly away you know like i said 90 percent of the music he's he's touching my writing process is one where i feel like an upset many times i feel like when i write i'm taking all of my life experiences and other people's life experiences people that i've met i take it all with me inside of the booth [Music] i'm committed to listen i know that i'm going through stages flipping out going like pages my end goal is that when everything is said and done we'll be able to look back and say that my music helped a lot of people [Music] in my box
