All right. Um, so, so this roesh
separates the men from the boys, so to
speak,
because there are roesh mornings,
especially during the winter where
services begin at 6:30 or 6:45.
This coming Sunday, it's 510 a.m. Nad
Balor is with us live via telephone.
Nadder. Uh, a good morning to you and
thank you for joining us here at JM in
the A.M.
>> Pleasure as always to be with you. Thank
you for having me.
>> I'm just trying I'm trying to get a hold
of uh and trying to see if we could uh
get Seth in as well. Just give me a
second as we try to do this.
Um,
not quite sure why it's not.
Anyway, if you can get him to call in on
the same system that you're in, that
would be wonderful to include him. So,
Nadler Balor, you have to admit this one
separates the men from the boys. It's
one thing when Nates is late enough
where you could start at 6:30, 6:45 in
that area, but this coming Sunday, Roan,
you're going to be starting at 510 in
the morning. That's going to be quite a
challenge for some people. Agreed.
Uh, actually next month it's going to be
even earlier. Next month the June is the
earliest.
>> But yeah,
>> it could be as early as 5:00 a.m.
>> Uh, the AMA is going to be at around
5:24 as opposed to 5:36 which is on
Sunday.
>> All right. So, there's uh there's
there's quite a challenge for a lot of
folks. Nonetheless, you still feel
you're going to have no problem
attracting people to be there this
coming Sunday. Correct.
>> Well, we have a lot of steak to sell.
So,
>> not to serve actually. I take that to
serve. A
>> lot of steak to serve. Um, you got to
you got to explain to me for those who
have seen and I I really wish we had
Seth on to discuss this because I think
this is more Oh, maybe we can get him on
right now. We'll see in a second. Um, I
just invited him to this call, so we'll
see if he joins us. Um, but I'm trying
to get a perspective for those who have
seen the advanced publicity and Oh, I I
think we do have Seth, so I could ask
him. Seth Gersburg, welcome to JM and
the AM.
You there, Seth?
Uh, hang on a second.
No. All right. For those who've seen the
advanced publicity, Nader, explain the
relationship between Roshesh and
swimming pools.
>> Well, you know,
we trying to
get excited about receiving Torah,
>> right?
And as we know the very very much with
within the line of thought and some
safari sources some mits if not all of
them the preparation is even considered
higher. So the preparation for every
yumto really the root the beginning of
it starts at rashes. So how you prepare
the hearts the service the aoda of going
into the months is all based on how we
start right and of course we know the
best way the most opportune time to d on
rodish as with every day is to d with
sunrise so now we have a challenge to
get people excited so comes the summer
it's not even here but you you offer the
swimming pool and fun and the Torah and
just singing. What else can the heart be
attracted to more than that?
>> All right. Now, let me see. Has Seth
joined us? Seth, are you with us?
>> Good morning. Good morning.
>> Good morning, Seth Gersburg. I'm going
to ask you the same question I just
asked Nadder. For those who've seen the
advanced publicity for Sunday's big
roesh gathering at 510 in the morning,
what is the relationship, Seth, between
Roesh and swimming pools?
>> I'm working on that. I've been working
on that for a while.
>> So, you think there is an answer? You
think there is an answer at the end of
all the research? You just haven't found
>> I think so. I think so. I think so. I
think that uh that the the idea of I
think the idea of of this roles and this
month is the is the connection the
connection between you know when heaven
comes to earth when the Torah reaches
reaches all of us and I think it's about
mixing things and uh really I think um I
think I'm just I'm I'm really struggling
for the answer to that question. I got
nothing honestly it's not such a bad
answer frankly and I like it. Uh, was
Nader expecting to end up in the
swimming pool in your advanced publicity
or was that Seth's complete surprise to
Nader uh as he was being tossed into the
pool?
>> I I was very unclear about whether or
not he thought he was going to end up in
the pool, but then when his phone came
out of his pocket as he came out of the
pool,
>> I came to I came to realize he really
did not expect to end up in that pool.
Nadler, could anybody else have gotten
away with it other than Seth?
>> My wife.
>> That's it. Just the two of them, huh?
All right. Nadler Balor and Seth
Gersburg invite everybody for this
coming Sunday. They start at 510 in the
morning. Yes. On a Sunday. They start at
5:10 in the morning foresh,
the month of renewal, the month of the
uh uh celebration of the giving of the
Torah. Uh which we will have on Thursday
night. Of course, the observance of
Nates is at 5:36. The musical Holl is
expected to start at 5:50 this coming
Sunday morning and it's all happening at
280 Mountain Road in Anglewood, New
Jersey. That's 280 Mountain Road in
Anglewood, New Jersey. They are
insisting on serving a meat breakfast by
Seth and Seth, could you uh could you
give us some advanced uh information
regarding the menu for Sunday morning?
The primary initiative was to buy every
tomahawk available in the tri-state
area, which we achieved. If you don't
have it in your supermarket, it's
because we have it here. So, come get
it. And our objective is to make sure
that everyone has enough to eat that by
the time she comes, everyone's going to
be really welcoming milk.
>> Very good. So, I'm assuming you have
plenty of freezer and refrigerator space
for those hundreds of tomahawks. That's
number one. And secondly, uh I there are
people who might be hesitant uh to have
a heavy meat meal at 6:30 in the
morning. What would you say to them,
Seth, if they attend the big rotes
celebration, but might hesitate to
participate in a tomahawk steak
breakfast?
>> Come to our house early and we'll stay
up all night cooking them. It'll be a
late night snack instead of an early
morning snack. And
>> and also, we'll go swimming afterwards.
Bring your bathing suits.
>> I have a I have a feeling you're going
to have some people who are staying up
all night anyway just to make the 510
bros frankly at the big roesh minion.
And are you seriously inviting people to
take advantage of the swimming pool if
the weather's good on Sunday?
>> U absolutely absolutely.
>> So you're you're you're you're literally
welcoming everybody to participate in
all of this. not just be part of a roesh
daing but to enjoy a musical hallel an
incredible fleshik breakfast and you are
guaranteeing tomahawk stakes swimming
pool if they wish and all this is
happening some would say in the middle
of the night but we'll call it early in
the morning this coming Sunday starting
at 5:10 a.m. everybody is when shakris
begins at 280 Mountain Road in Englewood
New Jersey. Seth Gersburg I asked Nader
the following question earlier in this
conversation before uh you joined us. Do
you agree that this separates the men
from the boys? Meaning that there are
many times, especially during the
winter, uh, when Nates could be, I don't
know, 7:20. Doing could start at a/4 to
7 in the morning. Not so bad. Pretty
luxurious for those who are up early
anyway on a typical day. Now, on a
Sunday, you're asking people for Son to
start domining with you at 510 a.m. That
might require some people to get up at 4
or 4:30 in the morning. Does this
separate the men from the boys when it
comes to domining Nates?
>> I certainly think that there's a
distinction between getting here at 510
and not showing up at all. And but the
main thing is that when we talk about
separating the men for the boys, we
happen to have had um about a hundred
women and and their daughters come last
time and we would love the opportunity
to extend this to everybody at full
family affair.
>> Do you think you could have a a full
women's section even at 5:10 in the
morning?
We're hopeful.
>> That would be amazing. That would be
amazing. Both the men and the women.
Kakavote to those who are going. And we
look we do this as often as we can.
Whenever there's a big roish event that
Nadar brings to our attention, we always
highlight it uh because he has described
to us the importance of David Vatikin of
uh of starting Shimona Estray. Uh just
as the sun is rising and you have a
unique opportunity this coming Sunday.
The weather is supposed to be good
Sunday. By the way, folks, uh the
musical hollow will begin at 5:50.
Shakras at 5:10. Flesh breakfast will be
provided as we just described. And it's
all happening at 280 Mountain Road in
Englewood, New Jersey. And Seth, a
number of people don't scare you. If
hundreds and hundreds want to come and
participate, you got room for all of
them.
>> Let's go. Let's go.
>> BRING IT ON. Seth Gersburg says, "Bring
it on." You know, Nader has told us for
months about the importance of doing
Vasikin. Do you want to add something to
this, Seth? Do you want to add something
in terms of the importance or the spirit
or the inspiration that you and those
around you get when they get up really
early especially this time of year and
start saying Shimona estray as the sun
is rising. I I just want to share that
my Rosh experience for as unfortunately
it was the case for for me for many
years was you know how long is David do
going to take and when am I going to get
to work right
>> and matter was transformative for me
what he what he created with Nate was
and now I'm starting earlier I'm ending
later and I'm loving every ro kuresh I
feel like it it I the idea of making ro
kesh the greatest start of our month was
was amazing and uh I it it's changed my
life. Wow. Nad was worth doing all this
just to get a reaction like that, huh?
>> Uh, it's not me. It's uh it's all
Hashem. I give the credit to Hashem. And
it's multiple people who initiated this.
So, we're all in it together. And we as
Jews have to serve one another. So, Seth
has a lot of qualities I learned from
him. And if he learned one little thing
from me, that's amazing. But he's the
greatest.
>> Incredible. What a team. What a team.
Last time you were on Nadur, your wife
was with you. Has she reacted to the
tomahawk steak rokesh breakfast? Has she
had anything to say about uh about the
intention to have this massive flick
breakfast early in the morning?
>> Yeah, she she'll be joining us for the
evening, but she'll bring her own
sandwich.
>> She'll have her own cup of coffee and a
a little cheese sandwich to enjoy on a
Sunday morning. All right, everybody.
There there are WhatsApp groups. Now, by
the way, Nad, is it easy to to direct
people to join the WhatsApp group or is
that a very long and difficult address?
>> No, no, it's easy. We have the barcode
and you h you have a link, you know,
it's and it keeps growing. What's what's
been really amazing in since we did it
at HA, which was about 7 months ago. The
amount of children that are coming
between the age of like say 12 and 18 is
incredible. You have last time we had 70
80 kids. It's so so amazing to see you
know someone getting excited on a
Sunday. My kids are all already having
sleepover parties with their friends
>> at my house so that they can be there on
time. They people are the kids are
chatting on their WhatsApp about it.
It's amazing. It's really amazing. Thank
God.
>> That is heartwarming and that's pretty
amazing. and call a kavote to the
children and their parents who are now
hooked on a rovati minion and a musical
hollow. That's pretty unbelievable. By
the way, Seth, the teens love steak. So,
I hope you don't run out.
>> We're ready. WE'RE READY.
>> BRING IT ON, SETH. BRING IT ON.
And now, of course, as as happens every
time Nad and Seth get together to um
promote the big roes, now it's time for
everybody to jump into the pool. Seth,
that's how we end things, right? It's
time to jump into the pool.
>> It always helps.
>> Always helps wake people up. Thanks to
both of you and the best of luck this
coming Sunday.
>> Thank you very much.
>> Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank
you.
>> Nad Balora, Seth Gersburg, Ro Kodes, 510
in the morning, 280 Mountain Road in
Englewood. And if you love tomahawk
steak, you're in luck. You're going to
have an amazing Roesh morning this
Sunday. More coming up. It's JM in the
A.M.
