MYHSAL Boys Varsity Hockey Championship Game Highlights DRS vs. FRISCH 3/19/17

[Music] good afternoon ladies and gentlemen and welcome back to Lawrence Middle School where we are getting set for the MHS Varsity championship game between the fris cougers and the DRS wild cats this is the nak Network's presentation of the nyhs varsity championship game presented by Mana Chev in and takes the ball now you got two DRS players and a shot to the net by Bru saved by fry very beginning Bren behind the net with the ball sends it behind himself to Bower B tries to tuck it in Reedman makes the save with the right pad both both going with their strongest lines attempting to get something done gets it over to Giller and the ball Lo and the go by mans back and there you go mans back picking up the loose garbage on a Giller shot poking it in right in front there with 18 seconds left in the first period DRS has taken a one- nothing lead killer the shot nothing play that in front and trot Tris really made a spectacular save there on Gill's shot it was a low hard shot to the right side with a little bit of net to see but Charlie frish was able to make the save there big save and now Bren will get it he one the first shot to score there it is we've been waiting it for it the whole game they got the power play and they took it Advantage brim just drilled it home that with 428 left in the second a power play Gold by Yehuda breed ties this game up at one then it comes to Bren he just rifles it for a goalie it's hard you got to hope you just get in front of it yeah for a G it's hard to see it it's hard to reset yourself and see it and jakeob frean did not see it and it went right past him s Bru sends the ball to the line just was and a go Daniel stur right in front wow suur converted a bounce that came right in front he didn't even know it was there for a fraction of a second he saw it down there in the crease just hanging out and Johnny on the spot put it right home jit keeps the ball in man back fires and scores wow probably couldn't see it at all iow was blocking the whole line of sight and with 334 left it looks like vs is going to have themselves another championship heing yeah he didn't even see it right wha was was in front of him oh we get back two on one the other way St sh the ball to the net and a save by [Music] fredman with the ball over to BRD Brin SS the ball misses Brin comes around out saved by Freeman and the ball game is over PRS wins their fif Varsity Championship 3 to one they dug and they dug yeah definitely wasn't pretty never a fancy pass never a fancy shot but a win and another win and another win and eventually 17 straight wins earning them Championship coach Larry gross hand to the trophy off right in the middle of the floor they hand the MVP trophy to Jakey fredman Jakey fredman one goal the entire game Jakey a junor I think that's be more fair I think that has to really be a trophy for him for MVP the entire season congratulations to the DRS Wildcats great job again winning the 2017 nyhl Varsity champ ionship [Music]
