the am Simon Jacob is here last time we spoke with him was in St Road shalom shalom to so this is what it's like to wake up inam huh this is what you know you know from from a lot of experience this is the the absolute best this is the absolute best the way things look the weather's perfect the sunshine is beautiful and it's um so what do you remember from Friday's uh encounter in stay Road you know people didn't realize or maybe some did that we did the show before the for Tora yeah there are videos already available for people to see Facebook has people have been sharing the video from the celebration but that was something extra special at the Ethiopian synagogue and St Road it it it certainly was um uh to be honest the faces of the people there uh of the Ethiopian Community there um was just amazing uh looking number one there's a lot of very beautiful faces okay number two though is that even even with that um their their push to tell us how much huk we were giving them which was like I couldn't I couldn't understand that at all because I was feeling so much his look from them it was unbelievable but uh to see their faces and their thankfulness that you know like they were amazed that we were there and taking them seriously which was just uh it was really amazing really beautiful everybody had a wonderful time time it was a very uplifting event the rabbis who spoke they hit the the points head on and really spoke about you know it's funny I I was on yesterday Mattis does an amazing show every Sunday as you know we call it JM Sunday it's on the internet and he asked me I was here in Israel we were in Tel Aviv during the day and he says uh you know what are you what are your impressions of what happened on Friday and I said listen matis because of what Joe and Simon have done I now can take my children and grandchildren to ster Ro to the op Ethiopian synagogue open up the AR kodes and open up the Torah and show them and show them your father's name that one of the people it's dedicated to is their grandfather you can't make this stuff up yeah it it's it's it's amazing to have that Casher it's an unbelievable cater to have um actually I have I have uh some grandchildren who are uh related to the chief Rabbi the former Chief spartic rabbi of Israel um and when we went to heon and they open up the Aon and in the in the AR ainu synagogue which is one of the oldest uh synagogues uh in heon if not the oldest I think I I might be wrong on that but I don't think so um they opened it up and inside is a Torah that was given uh Rim had said you build a synagogue here I'm going to be the first first one to give you a safer Torah so they open up the saer Torah and it's dedicated to their grandfather the great-grandfather I'm the grandfather so the great grandfather and it's like unbelievable um the kesher and and the history and is just amazing so it is incredible um and finally on the more mundane yeah because Simon and I are committed to encourage everybody to come to Israel Simon is volunteered that anybody who wants a restaurant recommendation in Jerusalem you'll be more than happy to consult on that I'll get you a discount problem I'll get you a discount oh my God come on we'll get you now there a real intive for people to Trav see I knew it I knew it I knew it anybody out there if you want a wine or restaurant recommendation Simon says he will guide you properly so that you could eat well and drink well in Jerusalem and even we'll figure out where you can get schwarm at 2 o'clock in the morning yeah okay yeah we thought that was imp that we thought that was impossible until this past Sunday morning until this past Sunday morning when we eat schwarma and we was fesic for breakfast um baser for breakfast so it was it was tough it was an incredible journey a unique one to say the least one thing we know Simon we may do this again it'll be a totally different trip that's for sure different every time but it's only very very good reason we are here in Jerusalem and enjoying an incredible time and we hope that everybody out there comes here as quickly as possible to enjoy everything that we've been enjoying the
