JM and the AM. Thank you so much for my
gold. Well, we promised you Seth Levit.
He's of course the leader at Ables and
Heman. They've been an amazing supporter
of ours for years. Maybe we could say
decades at this point already. And of
course, I thank A&H. Um they know how
important daily reminders are about
their incredible product. And we have
the privilege of doing it every single
day, reminding the uh the audience just
how delicious A&H hot dogs and all their
other items are. And this coming. Why is
Seth on today? you may have guessed,
uh, it's an annual tradition. Super Bowl
Sundays is coming. Now, I know the
majority of of our listeners are in New
York and New Jersey. We've got listeners
in Seattle. We have listeners in Boston,
but the majority, you know, where they
are. And it seems that the majority in
this area don't care much for this
upcoming Super Bowl. That's the way it
seems to me. But once everyone sits down
Sunday evening and takes in the game,
you're going to need some delicious
treats to serve to family and friends.
And that's where A&H comes in very, very
handy. Seth Lev, a pleasure to welcome
you back to JM in the AM.
>> Thank you. Good morning. How are you,
>> Barack Hashem? Doing great. I hope that
everybody at A&H is doing fine and
dandy.
>> Thank God we're good. Thanks.
>> You know what's interesting? And I don't
I I I don't know how you view this
because it happens so often to you. I
don't know what it's like, but can you
describe what it's like, Seth Levit,
when every single time there is a
debate, a discussion, a contest, an
evaluation about the best kosher hot
dogs in America,
no matter very often you're number one,
which is amazing. You can't always be
number one. Everyone has different
tastes. Very often you're number one,
but no matter what, you are always in
the discussion of the top two or three.
What is that like knowing that every
time the subject of best kosher hot dog
comes up in this country, you are always
in the discussion?
>> You know, that's that's a wonderful
question and um it it's a great feeling.
It's an honor almost. It lets me uh it
reaffirms uh what we uh have all known
that we have a great product. Um and
there's a lot of love that goes into
producing this product. A lot of hard
work, too. Um and we we just want to put
out the best product that's out there.
So, it's [snorts] a great feeling.
>> Yeah. And your staff takes it very
seriously. Frankly,
I've seen it up close and personal as
everything's being made. And they take
it very seriously. They want to make
sure to get every step 100% correct.
They want to make sure that the love as
you described and the emotion that's
necessary in making a good food product
is actually included. And is there ever
any tweaking anymore? Like you have
obviously and we're talking about the
basic hot dog now for a moment. We know
you have a million varieties
and you have my favorite, the knock
worst, but is there any tweaking anymore
or when it or this recipe for the A&H
basic hot dog that many people are
buying in gigantic packs and smaller
packs, etc., is basically set and it
needs no extra work at this time.
>> At this point, the recipe is well over
70 years old. And um yeah, and that that
that's the key. Um we haven't deviated.
We've kept to the founding uh owners um
you know, original recipes, and we've
just maintained, we've built, but we've
maintained uh the quality that uh was
here before we even started.
>> Do you ever wonder if other hot dog
companies are trying their hardest to
figure out what your exact recipe is?
>> I try not to. I try just to focus on uh
what we can do to you know maintain the
uh edge.
>> Well, Seth Levit, A&H, Ables, and
Heyman, do you agree with me or not that
there seems to be some uh ambivalence to
the big game this coming Sunday? Are you
getting the same feeling?
>> Yeah, more or less. But, uh, you know, I
I I want to throw my support behind
Robert Craft for all he's done for our
community. As we discussed yesterday,
the only legitimate reason to root for
the New England Patriots, and that would
be its owner, Robert Craft.
>> Yeah. [snorts]
>> And I don't mind that you're on that
same bandwagon, but that's it. I don't
want anybody rooting for them for any
other reason,
>> to say the least. So with all this
ambivalence and all the uh you know what
I'm referring to as you know a malaise
when it comes to this area's care about
the game on Sunday once 6:30 p.m. hits
on Sunday. In most homes in this Eastern
time, in most homes in this country, the
party will begin. And Seth, that means
that everyone has to make sure today's
Wednesday, so everyone has to make sure
that they have plenty of A&H hot dogs,
knockstring
salamis in preparation for Sunday.
You're not against that, right? You like
that practice?
>> Oh, not at all. Sure.
>> And what's the largest one, by the way,
when you when you when you shop for an
A&H salami? What's the largest one you
could buy to actually hang and dry out?
>> Um, well, we for consumers, the largest
size um uh is a 32 ounce uh salami. For
the delies though, we we make them a
little larger, about twice the size,
about five five and a half pounds.
>> Amazing. But, uh, yeah.
>> And some of those delies will actually
let the consumers purchase them on the
spot and bring them home, which is
pretty cool. Are you a Are you a hard
salami guy or, uh,
>> I am. I have one hanging in my office
right now as we speak. I always have one
hanging my offices.
>> Oh, that's good to know. That's good to
know. If I'm ever in the area, I can
come beg you for it because that's one
of my favorites. So, this Sunday,
everybody, you know the routine. Make
sure you have plenty of A&H hot dogs,
all the buns that you could purchase,
all the wonderful condiments. I'm not
going to ask Seth Levit my annual
condiment questions. He always avoids
it. He always says that people should
put on what they wish, whether it might
be a relish or mustard or even ketchup.
He'll approve uh or um or um sauerkraut
uh or nothing at all
>> or coleslaw or nothing at all. That
that's how committed he is to his
product. He says you could actually eat
it without any condiments on it. I know
people who actually toss on five or six,
Seth, on on the same hot dog, by the
way.
>> Yeah. You're not That's not your style,
huh?
>> Uh, you know, [laughter] you'll never
reveal the man will never reveal how he
dresses up his hot dog. He'd prefer, but
he just eats them without anything on
it. And of course, as we always stress
and we do this on a daily basis, uh
you've gone ahead and you've really
adjusted to the market because if people
want a healthier product, if people want
a less salt product, etc., etc., A&H is
at the forefront. Does that have to be
tweaked at all or you're very happy with
the product line for 2026 the way it is?
>> We're very happy with the product line
the way it is. Um we uh are confident
that the products are going to continue
to sell and sell well and we just want
to introduce the products to uh a whole
new audience, you know, because there's
a lot of people that don't know about
us. As as much as there are people that
do know about us and buy us and and keep
us number one in the glat kosher
community, there there's there's a whole
world out there.
>> Oh, I think I think your reputation just
keeps growing and more and more people
are finding out about it. And if someone
does want to I mean there's there's
really no category you haven't covered.
If they if if there are people concerned
about sodium, other things, etc., you
you've really covered all the bases for
them, right?
>> Correct.
>> There you go. All right. You want to
make a prediction for Sunday? Are you uh
since you're rooting for Robert Craft,
are you predicting that New England ends
up on top on Sunday night?
>> I am. I am indeed.
>> There you go. Seth and I have a friendly
wager going on. I'm going to take
Seattle. He's going to take New England.
and we will uh we will um uh exchange uh
those massive hot dog uh packages. That
really large one that you can get at
some of the big box stores have how many
hot dogs in it?
>> Uh there are uh 28 hot dogs in that
package. It's a 56 package. Yeah.
>> Oh boy.
>> But they're individually packaged. So
it's only seven in a package. Four hot
four packages.
>> Right.
>> So you could freeze them, save them, use
them, give them away to friends. And
you've told us that the majority of your
line is Koshula Pesoc, correct?
>> Yeah. Yeah, we actually uh we we uh just
switched over for Pesak a couple weeks
ago. Uh I think we're Pesak is about 60
days away, right? Yeah. Less than 60
days away. So uh we're we're in full
gear for PES right now.
>> April 1st, Wednesday night. All right.
So does is that a good arrangement? If
Seattle wins, you'll you'll toss over a
uh 28 pack of Kosha Le Pesaka hot dogs
for us. Would that be all right?
>> 100%. I appreciate that. Now I have
someone to root for. [laughter]
All right, Seth, enjoy the game and we
will be enjoying your delicious food
products all through Sunday night. And I
of course will make sure that some knock
worst is uh is consumed by my family and
friends cuz that that that is one I mean
I know your hot dogs are incredible. I
don't know if you get this from other
people, but I I just wish more and more
people would try the knock wors because
it's simply fantastic.
>> Thank you. Thank you so much.
>> Be well my friend and thank you for
everything.
>> Be well. Byebye. Seth Levit, Ables, and
Heyman. Hey, there's a game Sunday and
it seems people like to gather together,
family and friends to watch it in one
[snorts] big communal gathering.
We have a recommendation and Seth
Levit's totally for this recommendation.
Make sure you have plenty of A&H in the
house. And yes, hot dogs and knock
worst. That knock is incredible. If you
have the right bun with it, oh my gosh,
simply remarkable. Uh, as simple as
that. Go to kosherdogs.net for
information. kosherdogs.net for
information. Take a 10% discount with
promo code radio all the time with that
um with that website kosherdogs.net. And
if you do want to order for Pesak or um
put in some type of bulk order,
certainly be in touch with our friends
at A&H and they'll take very very good
care of you. More coming up. It's a
Wednesday morning edition of JM in the
AM.
