foremost we have the uh campaign uh the uh campaign of the uh PES campaign as we uh discussed each year we have a campaign to uh help poor people specifically in is Torah scholars in Isel uh to for the holiday of PES last year uh we pre-funded the uh campaign with uh nearly a million shekels uh you know and uh this year we thought that uh you know things were going to take a little bit more time but uh what ended up happening actually is that uh we ended up doing a lot more than uh we thought was even possible and we ended up arranging a couple of major things number one we have a uh a way to not only uh help the scholars but also confirm that these Scholars are uh you know are are are also going to help us help help us you know eliminate the decrees that are with all the anti-Semitism and the hatred and the war that's in the air right now we need as much help as possible so we arranged a group of 540 aim Torah Scholars uh obviously you know each one of them with families this isem the uh list of different teams of Scholars each one with how many pages they're going to do you know the first one is going to do 64 the other one 157 105 121 you know very uh precise list to complete the entire Shas bav in uh in a single day uh by the team and of course uh this is uh something 2720 theim uh this is something Monumental it's not something that happens uh you know often it's not something that usually people have the opportunity to be uh a part of especially not for PES it's the first time I've ever heard of it but this completion of the Shas uh on on PES is not only going to increase the Torah in the world but also it's going to help us uh you know uh help these people help these uh families each one of them has a family we're talking about uh north of 5,000 people uh that are going to benefit out of this because each one is going to get uh uh you know a stipend to help them with the holidays in addition to that uh uh we uh we have a so just calculate the uh the math here we're talking about a few hundred thousand shekels just for that uh and the event I actually thought may actually take place during or maybe after but they're actually holding it next week so we had to pre-fund it uh and um in addition to that we have a lot of uh widows uh orphans uh divorce people that are simply struggling uh contacting us uh people that we know and that have been on the list since we had the event last year and uh we're trying to do the best that we possibly can uh to uh to help as many as we can we have a whole list you know some people are trying to contact us even now uh that we don't know them we really uh feel bad but we can't help everybody uh but uh there's the stories are horrible and and and I'll start off with uh with this uh today I uh anyone that looks at the campaign right now goes to bh.org will see we haven't really raised much money but uh here you'll see a receip uh for a wire transfer for a little over $85,000 that uh you know that I sent this uh this morning and uh more will be sent uh in so many words we're following what the Tora says who did me a favor first and I will pay him as we do every year uh it's a sometimes Hashem pays back right away sometimes he takes his time but needless to say if you do what uh you know what what Hashem wants you to do for his children you're never going to lose even though it's a lot of pressure it's a lot of stress it's a lot of moving Parts but it's certainly something that's necessary and uh especially when you hear the stories and some of these people we need to help them on a monthly basis and even on a weekly basis and one of the stories that came to us is a woman that uh raim and his wife know for many years uh she's actually uh the kids uh go to school together the older kids uh older I mean 12 years old uh and um last year we helped them we gave them a I believe it was a thousand shekels and this year they uh she called and asked if if we're going to be able to help he said we have this program for the Shas but she's uh you know her her her husband left her because she did chuva with the kids and uh he doesn't want to do chuva he wants to uh you know remain a uh an animal in so many words and uh he ended up leaving her and uh he's leaving her with AB he left it with nothing and this was already the last couple years but we never really knew how bad the situation was until this uh last week when she told us uh that uh even to forget about the holiday uh uh you know having money for the you know to buy matah to buy wine to buy you know chicken meat anything for the holiday forget just about that we're talking about uh to feed the kids in the morning breakfast she doesn't have she doesn't have uh so when you hear stories like this you know it's not stories fairy tales like people you know sometimes they text message me uh listen Rabbi can you help me out I'm struggling you know and then you know you hear some details yeah listen you know I I I paid my rent I I have uh food and everything I just that I really need to get this new suit I need to get this new suit so I was wondering if you could send me a couple hundred dollars that's unfortunately struggling in the American uh deformed mind when I say struggling to you guys I'm talking about food I'm talking about the very basic needs of life and when a person tells me that uh she's a uh divorced mother that uh has uh you know I believe three or four kids and she doesn't have food to feed the kids in the morning a couple hundred is not going to help we have to obviously try to do whatever we can on a monthly basis and this is some of the things that we've done over the years with different families some people have uh you know somebody very sick in the family so they need some money for that some people have uh just different types of troubles uh you know financial troubles uh you know medical problems all types of things and what ends up happening is that during this time of the year the stories somehow all pile up all at the same time all the new stories we know all the old stories but there's always new stories that join and uh aside from asking you guys to uh try to be generous and as generous as you possibly can uh to help us with this campaign because as you see I mean again we we already out $100,000 uh between the two campaigns were a couple $100,000 in and we haven't even you know uh raised a quarter of it uh so aside from being generous uh in the campaign uh and if we raise more than that if you guys you know uh uh decide to be the messengers of Hashem to to help us then certainly we're going to be able to help even more whatever you guys uh send to us we we're going to use for people we're not I'm not paying my rent with it I'm not uh uh you know buying any uh any uh uh any Ferraris with it all the money that we get to my knowledge we're the only organization that actually gives all of the money and more to the actual people uh you know that we actually raise every year we always end up giving a lot more money than what we end up raising andem provides for us in different ways throughout the year but this time we're uh we're in a situation where um I'm asking if any of you guys are also interested in taking on uh a family uh taking on a family and uh you know we have I would say uh a good number of families uh that uh need help on a monthly basis and uh you know we don't want to obviously embarrass anybody and uh you know make things complicated so we send the money to them anyway but anybody wants to take on a family it uh you could go it's anywhere from you know $500 a month to uh a couple thousand a month depending on the uh on the need it's not necessarily always dependent on the size of the family uh cuz sometimes the older kids are able to work or or or or whatever but sometimes just simply you know there's some families need more than others medical issues and things like that so if any of you have uh have the means and are interested in actually uh going into this aside from the PES uh you're interested in doing something on a monthly basis just specifically for this cause we don't have it there's a ton of money for him ton of money for him but if you are a religious Torah scholar okay what we can do is 50 shekel a month 50 shekels a month per child so what do you have you have the uh uh 10 kids all right we'll send you 500 Shekel what's 500 shekels 500 shekels is about $140 $150 now just so you know anyone that went to Israel it's not you know $140 not going to get you too far it's not going to get you too far you're not you know with with you know maybe maybe you'll be able to get the diapers maybe uh for the month you're not going to get far you're not going to pay rent with 500 checkles you know you're not going to pay anything of significance but that's what the government does now of course the the at the same time the government uh and the Lefty liberals will people say oh wait so I could just be higher than mosu with 500 bucks a month okay you know what I'll give a thousand I'll be higher than God like the Heretics think no so Ravid medov the son of R uh level is something that you could only get to through this so here we have an opportunity in our generation to do something that was not possible 3,300 years ago but yet at the same token because the yet is fighting so hard the average person will hear this be motivated and then the yet will show up in order to cool them off and that's why I say to you guys you have to think about eternity not just think about this week or this month you have to try to do whatever you can to make commitments longer term commitments understand what's on the line because at the end of it all this is one of aide from that wants to also help us with some of these really difficult cases we have literally dozens and dozens of families that some we help from time to time some we help regularly and some we understand that these types of things uh you know these are responsibilities and I know that a lot of people like to help people and many times they believe that they're helping people and uh it's sometimes uh I I wonder whether uh whether people realize who and what they're helping so in this case b we know who we're helping uh so last but not least we have a uh our um all of our series bash are doing well you know the lectures are spreading everywhere uh we need as much help as possible for anyone that has technological uh abilities whether you know how to code Graphics uh uh uh things with with application we also need some help with anyone that knows how to uh translate into the Russian language uh we need also other languages as well but Russian is something that we certainly want to ignore the fact that it's indisputable that this is the answer they are still going to want to continue a sinful life and they're going to do whatever they can to deny the truth on them he moderate he's going to be able to contain himself and in addition to the additional physical pleasure there is Major ramifications as far as the fact that he's going to allow his wife to emit first and the teaches us in that when the woman emits whatever she creates is like a canvas and when the husband emits he is like the painter in so many words he is creating an image of himself and from
