shalom shalom everybody let me know if you hear me all right so uh almost shabbat here in israel we're gonna do our portion lesson and as i telling you every time that we're meeting in uh in friday so um we're gonna speak about the portion about it's called nebu parasha what we are going to read in the synagogue uh this week from the torah we are in a portion called last week he spoke about abraham and his journey and his mission and his purpose in this world and in this portion we're going to speak more about what's happened to islam and we're going to speak about the story of saddam and about the story of a lot and about the bending of ishak and a lot a lot of stories um this is a beautiful portion beautiful uh story very important story and like every week we have our guest here uh eliezer eliezer botsel hello from the north hello shalom shalom shalom brother levi uh and so we we are ready to for the temple so we are yes yes for the full redemption yes so just just to close the after our person every time that we're doing it i'm talking a lot with people they're telling you so what is the answer so for me it's very important to tell you that everything that we are reading in the torah according to the jewish faith have couple of meanings and this is because that this is the beautiful of the torah that anyone can take it to his place and of course that there is secrets behind the stories it's not just the stories so if we're bringing for you an idea so it's possible that there is another idea and another way to look on the on the story and it's okay for me i can accept a couple of ideas and i can live with it um it's it's all it's all it's all connected to the same source yes and and it's different perspectives and different focuses but the truth is the truth is one um but again you know there's different perspectives uh and visions uh around the truth so everyone everyone expresses usually um uh the emotion that is more more connected to or the met or or one kind of message but there is a lot of messages for sure um i i think that that that if i can say another small thing about it it's because that we believe that there is couple of words i can say like different words um different uh atmospheres i can say um and where and and that's why you can see different uh story any story in the different ways and sometimes it's you don't have to to decide what is the the right or what is right or not it's gonna in terms of the right the perspectives on the story the focuses are are definitely if we look you know and if we really also we will see um and we see we do have the the best witness of history um that that's that that that is the source that is the torah that is the story but there are a lot of other details that that come also in comments and there is for sure the um the spoken torah that that's that that's that's the whole philosophy that develops that developed around the sources from the torah so so over there there's always interpretations so today we're going to speak about uh the story of uh the portion and today i think that this is something the first uh subject that we are going to speak um is telling it is a story about avraham that he is standing in his tent and suddenly uh angels coming to the to his tent it's like a very weird story uh there's a lot a lot of explanation of of of this um this story of these three angels that coming to the tent i must say before we will we will you maybe uh speak more about the um about the story and about the the tent and about a quran i would like to to to say something that i i deal a lot with people um that asking me about angels so i must say that in the jewish faith angels and in the other faiths it's a little bit different in the jewish faith angels it's um kind of um i can i i want to be careful with my word but i will say it it's kind of a machine that god used to do something specific in this world like any uh angel as a mission and that's why according to the jewish faith we see that any angel have a different mission so if you see uh uh if you're gonna speak about this true angel three angels that coming to to avraham we will see to each angel that each angel have a different uh things that is coming to do uh one is coming to heal one is coming to destroy saddam and one is coming to tell him that he's gonna have um a boy um so this is the meaning of angel because i know that there is differences between religions about what is angels so for me it was very important to say it at the beginning uh so now butter let's let's go to uh to the story of uh with the tent and the angels well first of all you see that uh um he's the man of charity he's the um uh seeker he's the um um first true believer and father of all the believers in the world and and what he does is he sits in the in the entrance of his tent why does he sit in the entrance of his tent it's because he brings in guests and this is one of the biggest secrets of being a person of charity it's to know it's to know how to be a guest and to know how to host when you when we when we know how to how to how to receive from the in the right way from from the places we're in so we know how to bless we know how to be in a place and blessed in a person let's say he doesn't know how to be a guest in hebrew you call a criticizer mevakil but it's actually a guest but that's not but a criticizer it's not a true guest he comes into the place and and instead of receiving it so he comes and he puts he puts himself outside all the time he never really comes in uh obviously uh uh our criticizer ami but a true aware guest he really he comes in to that to the to the way of living and he he allows that that way of living to influence him and through that he brings also his blessing and through that we also learn in our own life how to be hosters because when we're hosters we share with people our presence but we received them as they are as they are and then we could get their presence their true presence and this is the angels didn't miss the opportunity to to receive guests that that's why also when he was sick he was he was just after he did his his own brit mila his own circumstance circumcised and and he was sick and and but anyway he was sitting in the entrance of the of the tent and this is why one of the angels came to to give him the blessing of healing right this is rafael yes you have the beautiful song and tuned for for for refinance is that comes out of the word right out of it just just remember to put it in the in the in the story so avraham doing a brit blitz to himself and to ishmael this is what we read in the last position and then is very sick you feel really bad after it is like he's very old when he's doing this this breathe and he did what and ages um he did it in age uh um uh 86 that's that's when he did it and ishmael was like and he's studying in the in the in the in the entrance of the tent and oh sorry sorry sorry sorry sorry he did it in age 99 ishmael was born when he was 86 and he did it an age when ishmael was 13 and so it's in in sorry he didn't age 99 so he was 99 years old it's crazy and and he said he's sitting in the in the interest of the tent and praying that people will come it's crazy like he's really is feeling really bad and he's praying that people will come to visit him it was so like we can learn a lot about from from this uh behavior and then there is like a beautiful story that said that god told him um i will be your guest no one will come like to let him to to to that he won't uh i don't know that he will feel better and he can rest and then you see three people coming to his tent now you go from here so so we said so we said that that one of the angels came and gave him the blessing of of healing okay one of the one of the blessings came like you said and told him that he's going to have a son with sarah together isaac and the third the other um uh angel um uh it's not exactly in the order but the third one he came and told him that god is going to destroy saddam and amura and saddam nomura was was a city was an area you spoke about it also last portion that looked the the nephew of abraham chose to go and live there so also now he's also very involved in the story over there but it's it's it's it's known and until today we uh approach saddam and amora as an example of of a city as a place of evilness that people that it's a totally chaos people totally lost it uh the behavior over there is is a jungle um not in a positive way so so what so they're they're they're looking like uh um they are looking the angels looking like people but e i think you understood that there is angels going inside to the tent and turning sarah or maybe it's not uh yes and to bring food and he comes he washes their legs and then for sure and then they bless them then they then then they expose themselves to him and they say oh you know we're actually angels and this is what we came for this is our mission like you said um and that's the situation um let's focus already you want to focus on saddam and so i would just say what happened over there so so the angel comes and said tells them in the name of god that god is going to destroy the city and abraham starts to to argue he starts to argue with god tells god no like like maybe there's maybe there's holy people there you know maybe not everyone is evil there so god tells him if there's 50 people um you know so so he tells god and if there's 50 um holy people and like people that are not evil in that city so god said well you want this source of god tells them yes if there's 50 people or a wonder story but it's not 50 people so if there's 45 and he says if there's 45 i won't destroy this ad but that's city but there's not and then they go down and down until 10 and you see that abraham our father he's negotiating with god he's fighting on the people he's fighting on the people it's it's we see that you know the two portions ago we spoke about noah and and they say you know about noah that he had 300 years to build to he knew that the world is going to get destroyed and we see over here that in a lot of ways that abraham is the development of noah and as a model because he um thought that also for the most evil people that they won't be destroyed that they would have the opportunity of changing but still it didn't happen um maybe the first time that we see um someone like argue with with god i don't know it was before actually with with kind we saw it but this is for the first time that we've seen like in a positive way in a positive way as a leader he's argued yes as a leader as a true leader ibrahim who spoke about about about ibrahim our father uh last week but it is important to say that that his whole approach his movement of faith is the movement of the oneness of god god is one it means that everyone is a straight part of the one it demands from us to be totally individual and that individual we have uh heritage we have a family we have a nation we have a mission but we always stand as individuals with god that's the movement of the faith that's the movement that abraham our father started and and for sure so this is the world this world is our world god god brought us into this world to to be part of his creation and we have full responsibility it's not only we have responsibility if we are alone with god in the world so we have full responsibility every person has a full responsibility that's the only way there's also not conflict because if every person is in that place it's not ego it's not ego it's responsibility and then everyone understands that our only way to to be one is if everyone would be himself with his own uniqueness and this is the secret of and you see with saddam and that they were exactly the opposite you want maybe to say about you know about saddam because we have a lot yeah yeah yeah go go for it there are also interpretations about saddam um like they say in the comments that one of the things that symbolizes their their evilness is exactly the opposite of the behavior of abraham and because we see also in the torah when abraham and the angels came to lot in saddam so what did they do they came and they tried to take them out and they tried to kill them or rape them they were exactly the opposite of abraham that brings them guests so they have one second before before you go into this story just to close the things that you said before so there so god telling him uh there is no 50 and then until in the finish of the argument like avraham telling him so what about lot and then god telling him you know what we will save love and and this is like uh that's all the argument it's not argument yeah it's it's a i think negotiation but it's a whole host yes yeah so this is the right word and then there are the angels coming to lot and telling him uh we're going to uh we want to to to to come and and to to visit or something like this and then lot telling him no no come to my house and they say no we're going we want to sleep in the street and then he said no no way you're going to sleep in my house they're entering to his house and the old city they are hearing that someone people new people coming to the city yes and they're starting to to knock on his door and they're trying to uh it's crazy story like yeah that they want to to rape them right it's it's exactly the place it's exactly the opposite of hosting because when you host a person you need to accept him as he is and serve him but actually when you don't do that that's the honor for you because you have the opportunity to serve him with your best but if we are in this world not as guests so we don't we can't be also hosters we don't know how to be hosters we think everything belongs to us and then it's only to take from others so when you see someone so it's how to take from him and not to accept him as he is and give him the presence that you have you know and and share with him that and you see that's why they also say in the comments it's it's called it's the chapters of the mine so that they saying to uh in the in it's a dumb thought you know it's not it's not there's no true development over there it's stuck but they say there isn't the fourth category is someone says mine is mine and yours is yours so they say this person is benoni benoni is average but yes they are that say or they say that this is the character of saddam and amora so what's so bad in being in this state of mind of mine is mine and yours is yours okay so i'm not a holy man mine is yours and you're like it's very standard like today and here we see what's so dangerous over here so what's so dangerous over here because if it's one person or if a person behaves like this one time okay he wants he wants a separation he wants he wants his place okay but it's average way of thinking it's not a holy way of thinking but the second it becomes um a riddle and people will live in that way so there is no society and then the whole society if the whole society behaves like this so it becomes evilness because everyone worries only for themselves and then in the mind they think oh yeah mine is mine but yours is yours so that's why i'm okay but you don't but you don't see what happens that you become if we behave like this we be we could become the evil then actually also yours is mine because because because i'm only focused on mine and and that's why that's why we need to be in the true movement of abraham all the time and that's always to serve reality how could my personality serve reality then i have mine but mine is yours because it's for the world this is this is so beautiful eliezer and and i i can see the connection to to the story of course the opposite of um that is like he is it know how to host and everything that we say before and and and i just understood that this is like to fix the problem that kind uh bring to the world too because to to to understand that nothing is mine this is like the the problem here when you start to to feel like some something is yours it's uh it's totally the opposite of the the movement that abram brought to the world that there is only one god and if there is only one god so of course there is nothing that is mine because everything is god is god everything everything is god everything amen and we but we believe we believe as a jew and i can say that like as a free freelancer and in in israel we can see that the the all the finance things that were happening i i can feel it every week every month it's like every time i all the time i feel it's like from that it's it's if you want to be a true a true belief believer i think uh for a couple of years go and be a freelancer and i understand that it's it's not about how much you work hard it's about relax and and pray right it's a movement of faith but it is the work hard is the present because with dancing with the presence of god so we want to be we want to be up we want to be aware we want to be we want we're not looking here for for um um uh for our easy life we're looking for a meaningful life and and this and this is exactly the movement of abraham that even when he was sick he still he still sat in the entrance of the door because because there's always opportunities that come and and and and we want to be aware and we want to be awake for these opportunities and in that way we always see how god speaks to us in a straight way you know this brings yeah you told me the other subject that he told me that you want to speak about right is um so it also brings there because we're speaking about about the whole about the um right you see it so that the word it's hack the meaning of the word it's in hebrew it's the meaning is to laugh and sarah is telling to to to god that she feel like it's kind of uh something uh that it's it's kind of a laugh and i uh for me at the beginning it's like what god is like laughing what what is what is this story and and again it's hack it's like to laugh it's it's it's the the same uh um letters as as a laugh in it um so i saw a beautiful things about uh that it's not that god like laughs on salah uh this is the something that that maybe people i i saw last week that they wrote for me uh so i made a research and i understood that i saw like explanation that it's like half for um of a joy like he left with her so this is uh something that i wanted to share with you um and for the next subject that i think it's like um one of the most uh famous stories in the in the bible and something that we all uh trying to do for me it's like a very strange story that i'm trying to understand every year and i started trying to to to to explain to myself this this story about the binding of fitzhak before we go into the binding i want to see you roy you wrote me the the name um he and and we see that faith demands to be a man of choice the man of choice is is that we know when we chose the wrong thing when it could be because our mistakes our desires there's a lot of things but but we know that there is there is all the time good and bad and we know that we are we delicate ourselves to choose good because we know that this is where god shows himself to us so when i choose in the good thing and the in the and the good thing that's where my continuation is with the with the will of god and and and and that's where our relationship is expressed now abraham is the father of choice he's the father of faith i've been in this movement the faith of choosing in the good and all situation yes i want to be the good man out of the situation not better than you i want also you to be the good man we all need to be the good man out of this situation and and now abraham gets into a situation that he always shows with with putting this all whole intention he put in his heart and seeing what is the good choice to do and here he gets into a situation that he lose control because he was sure that he won't have a child and his wife sarah our mother sarah tells him go have a child with with hagar you know with you know because with me you won't have a child portion we saw it in the last portion and and and they they have uh they got ishmael this is like the first man and in the beginning sarah's had the happiest in the world because their choice was to build a child and this was the way they could have brought a child so they did this from a good place they chose in the gun but then suddenly comes angel 13 years afterwards and said hey sarah you thought you're you know you thought you're 90 you know here you could give birth and now suddenly there's a conflict and this brought this conflict brought abraham to do something that wasn't his choice sarah told them i don't want the negative influence over here on our child over here and suddenly aram needs to do a choice over here of between two of his children and he needs to sacrifice from his place for sure his relationship and his child he actually takes hagar and ishmael and and he um um sends them out he separates himself he sacrifices them from his own life we're talking before the binding like hanging him a girl i see that that they are doing um that is a negative influence yes yes he was he was he was you know they say that he used to hunt and you know and things like and you know a bit more you know aggressive in a way and abraham got to a place that he goes always with his choice always chooses the right things and here god comes and tells him to sacrifice his son and now he has a son and he stands with this all the time and he says maybe we as humans you know our choices are not we think that we're choosing the good things but we actually do damage over here maybe maybe we need not to bother creation maybe maybe maybe also my second son i need to sacrifice now that god this is what you want that will be no continuation because we're as human even if we want to do the best even if we want to be followers even if we want to choose in the good evening if we want yeah anyway anyway we would always create distraction so okay so okay so let's not have continuation okay we'll finish finding those are my second son but finish you know it it just it just makes make me things like about um about our generation that you see that people don't want to to bring kids to the world you know right this is like like right right exactly it's the same stuff it's that son no i do want you to live i do want you generations to live not only that it gives them the promise then for generations of life for generations of life and we also spoke about this between us and this happened in the mountain of moriah and the mountain of moriah also symbolizes and this is already a place that we could see also we have different uh different understandings that complete each other now i agree totally with with where you take it and what maybe you want to take now from here you know for me oh yeah so so for me i i saw it a little bit different because i was speaking with my grandma that the second for all the people here that don't understand can i speak with my grandma so i have another grandma not the grandmother from rafana um and we spoke about the portion this week and she told me something like that i never i was never thinking about in this portion like we remember that last week um a girl when she uh got pregnant so uh sarah telling to abram also you it's it's work with a girl so you pray you pray only on yourself like if you were praying about both on both of us so we were bringing uh some so something happening between them and we know for all this story for from from the beginning that we see that strong powers like it's not only about it's about the woman too the story of salah is very important when she gets to to pauo they all getting sick and like crazy things and and and and every time that sarah telling something to of then god like say yeah do it like even in the in dividing and and even with a girl like when when when sarah telling to avon to to uh um to send agave and ishmael so god telling him to to do it like at the beginning of don't understand why and then god telling so survive a lot of people listen to her listen to sarah yeah everything that sarah tells you listen listen hear her voice listen to her voice and the comments say that her prophecy was higher than that that was higher than uh abraham's problems we will we will uh um say that this lesson is for mikhail the son of gaia ii uh for his blessing for healing uh amen amen um so um this is some like something that sometimes where we feel like like we him take your son the one your only one the one that you love it's like like it feel like god trying him to waiting that he would say no no why yeah and and he is not telling he's not saying anything as you said it feels like he said okay so maybe this word need to be destroyed or some i don't i don't know but but he felt he felt like it's not a van that we know that with all his uh helping with this world they have charities like like for your son and then um for me what i what i understood from this explanation is that god unders just showing here for us that avraham is not the one that ready for the redemption for for the for for the things that we're we will see at the uh uh the next person and then for the things that we are praying for for it right now and i know it's really hard to understand how can we say something like this about ivan but in this um um thing that god trying him here is so i i think that um this word is still a word that people can sacrifice their sons and it's not the word that that the word is not ready and as we know and as we know and i'm telling you i know and i'm saying here are hard things but as we know um this is what this is was the the things that happened in the world in this these times people will sacrifice uh their sons they were sacrificing um [Music] it was a crazy word um [Music] so that's why for me that's why for me i got telling that uh um after abraham came uh his son isaac and and also isaac had um jacob and eso and and afterwards came jacob from jacob came off the trail with 12 tribes um but i do think that abraham is the father of faith the father of of all of faith and because i do think that the choice in life after god tests him and this was the test because he saw um the the point of of that of in a way you know where where evilness because sometimes could be could be stronger than our than our than our than our choice that death is is not it's not it's not the tree of life but still as humans we we are eternal we have we have the choice in life and it is eternal even if we don't understand exactly the timings and things happen and but in the end everything comes into place and this is what we also see in this story because abraham understood that yes isaac has chosen for a specific focus and but also ishmael is his son and also ishmael will come back and also and there would be the connection with with with everyone and this is also what the mountain of moriah the temple symbolizes because my house of prayer this is what god tells us for the prophets because my house of prayer will be called the house because because my house would be called the house of prayer to all the nations to all nations and and and this is and abraham is the father of this understanding and the place that this understanding came in is in the mount of moriah because this is the choice in life it's the choice that right we could see conflict in our eyes but in the eternal eyes everything would come into place so we want god's order so just to to explain what you you meant is like you can see here in the in this in the screen that i will share um that um he said that the the place that we are talking about the place that abiding was it was in the mountain of maria and this is the place where adam and eve uh the story with adam and eve and the uh binding of of isaac and this is like jerusalem you in jerusalem in the temple mount with the third temple so uh so we pray for it amen amen amen amen i mean with the inspiration of of our fathers that that this generation would be the generation of of true um uh redemption and like it's like today today like people say you know in order to be realistic they they tell you you know peace is not is not realistic look look at reality look at what's happening and on the same page people tell you the same thing about redemption well what are you speaking about about something else that would happen you know like okay you know and i think we also saw this with this code with the covet now but we need to believe that yes something else could happen and could change us to change our perspective and and and maybe then maybe then also redemption and also peace would make sense and and this is why why it's for me it's a little bit connected to what i said about avraham because you can't say anything bad about avalon it's not what i meant to say what i meant to say is like as you said about the redemption something need to be changed in our perspective and the way that we see the world and i i think that in this moment when abraham decided not to argue or to say something to to god about his son so in one hand it's like the the the the the the present of the the most deep faith that you the the faith that you can see it's like that it's like to be a true believer not to ask anything and just to do what god telling you but in the other hand i think that what we can learn is that god wants us to use what he gave to us and is our feelings like to do not uh forget that we are as as a human our emotions and and the things that we have in our heart it's important to recruit that's the truth that's the truth that's the truth and this is why this is why choice is connected um um to faith because we need to believe ourselves also if if we are not pure if if if we if if our heart um um uh um we don't believe our heart so it's a problem and that's why and that's why that's why we want to be good because we want to also have believing in and god is believing in ourselves it's believing in our motives and and and this is a person that person doesn't want to disconnect his memory from and and and and because and this is the full relationship with god and and yes and so and to to kill your son is is is is something that doesn't make sense and that's why it didn't happen because that's not what god really wanted from him if that's what what god wanted from him that would have happened and then but that is a test as part of his process his progress to understand um that even though that we are in a progress that even though that we don't understand everything and sometimes we are in in conflict we're not allowed to lose faith in the true purpose that would happen it will happen and and this is the movement of faith and even and anyway it would happen we need to say yes and our generation would asked me uh about what i said at the beginning so from it's very important for me for for a moment just to answer um about the question for how can it be that there is no one true so no i believe that there is one truth this is the this is what i believe but i think that's that if we want to understand deeply what is god so we need to believe that we can't understand everything and if and if we are not allowed to understand everything so from this moment we can understand that it's possible that there is different way to look on the one truth and it's okay the problem started when we are not letting anyone to bring his truth because the conversation is not from a true place but if you are like argue or you are trying to to to bring your truth from a place that you let the other people to bring their truth and and there is like a good conversation so from this conversation conversation you will see fruits and maybe new ideas and maybe a new perspective and this is what i'm trying to do
