hello friends how are you i think hour and a half maybe a little bit more before shabbat here in israel i'm in my studio in in jaffa eliezer here or here i don't know yes it's in the galilee and the going to focus on a couple of specific points that we're going to to put the light on and to speak about them but if i'm going to to speak about where we are in the bible so we had a better sheet portion then noah and all the the the flood and everything that we spoke uh in the last week and now the first time we are hearing about someone called abraham uh god telling him that he he promised abraham that his sons and his grandsons will lead the world and that is going to spread all over the world and he uh promised him the uh the land of israel islam is wanting to to israel and then suddenly get ordered to go to egypt and i'm not going to go deep to the to the story and we are hearing in this parashai the first time on someone called lot that in the next week we're going to hear a very interesting story about all the things that happened to to lot um and something else yeah the cousin of um yeah and there's something else important that you want to just to say in a sentence yes also on our parties um is like you said is the promise that uh that hashem gives the promise to abraham on the future it's also the birth of his first son of ishmael um also the change of the name then god's changed changed their name but i think maybe let's start from the uh the the the name of the power shot and and symbolize so much symbolizes so much about about vino that he is the character he's the model he's he's the first one he started he started two movements movement of faith and movement faith in god and one god and the movement of and the fluid individualism and if people people think that sometimes liberty it demands um um denial of of a higher existence but actually a true individual um is involved in the reason of the world and fixing the world and this is the whole movement of afraham that he discovered god and that he discovered hashem and you will speak soon more about this about about the beginning about about his stories but but i do want to to to focus on and the first order that that hashem that god told abraham is it's a mystery he doesn't know where he's going to he's going out to a journey without knowing to where this journey is but god promises him from the beginning you're going to yourself you're going to to to the truth of of your existence in this world and this is this is the true journey it's journey that demands from us to be sent always sensitive to reality around us um it demands from us all the time to feel that we are in a mission this mission isn't to convince others this mission is because we are part of the global world we have responsibility and and and and and and this is this is this is the whole movement that my father started but in order to do this movement we see that god tells him to go to yourself to a true individual and to find your present for the whole world what only you could win and no one else could bring and not from a place of competition from a place of bringing bringing bringing the value that's needed to the world if every person would would be as totally individual so we would all complete each other we could we would be in harmony yeah and because because everyone has his own uniqueness and that's our connection with the oneness of god because the oneness of god puts every person alone with god and but in order to go to to there we need to go first of all that's what they say and in the comments from the place from from the com the comfortable place that we that we think we know already yes we need we need to go to discovery we go to go to the unknown and and and also talking about travel we can speak about sacrifice because he decided to leave everything because this is what god said and this is something that of course um you need to be very special man but you need to be with you need to be someone with a lot of belief and i think at the first time in history uh we're going to see in this portion the idea of one god and this is like something that changed the world now we are living in a world that a lot of people believe in god like um you can go everywhere and to say uh that we have one god and people will say amen but in those days it wasn't it wasn't like this people didn't understand what he want and it was something new um so how can we deal as as people as we said before that want to do something new and to bring something new to this uh word without to be alone and this is like a little bit connected to what what we said about lechon what you said and i think i will do a small break to read your question on the chat and then we will because dialogue we could also not agree but we understand that every opinion is important because it's part of the process decisions it's what is the timing god allows us to be part of that but if we place of creating a culture a culture of competition in in a way that that has no measurement it has no measurement besides winning the other and not and not winning the situation competition is for start to be on competition you're going out from your uh road and you start to be in a different places that you don't have to think that you that you you miss your journey that's right that ashley him to go to go to to the land of israel and actually there is a lot of secret in this in this person we can speak about everything about his journey and why he went from here to there it's like a lot when he was eight when he was 86 ishmael ishmael yeah so so yes ishmael was the first son but he was born to hagar but yeah i also saw then she was still called sarai she saw that she can't give birth so she told abraham yes you know i want you to have children so right but they but both of them together sarai and abraham um and avram then couldn't bring uh the the their child uh to the world together they couldn't bring isaac that isaac is the son of jacob the son of israel so the things that happened that the father he told god how can you tell me that i'm going to have a son if i see in the stars this is how we we are we're talking uh that i'm not going to have a son and so god told him yeah avraham and sarai won't get uh not going to give birth but avraham and sarah will have son and i think that we this is for me it was the the the the beautiful things that that one of the beautiful things that i ever saw in the bible i don't know it's just it's so beautiful the the this message uh why for me it's so so interesting and beautiful because sometimes we are putting on ourselves things that we think about ourselves uh and and there is all the time there is reasons we we have reasons because this is where i grew up and there is reason like this is uh the way i think i don't good and i have i have no um [Music] good uh i don't know how to to do this things and this
