Daf Yomi Gittin Daf 9 by R’ Eli Stefansky

good morning round boys welcome to all the guests first of all I gotta say tremendous day today tremendous for some it's like the very first time they ever finished for me it's already the second time that I'm finishing I'm so excited the it's unbelievable okay no somebody wrote to me that it's literally the first the one one of the benefits of being part of the sheer we have some very classifications what's your name um these are your grandchildren the first boys what's his name you deserve all from Manchester yes and you brought them in 30 straw for a trip beautiful beautiful who else do we have I saw um why is from Barbara we only met a few times yeah yeah and these are your kids what's your name you I also United yes okay you're you're also not a guest not a guest and Ezra Abrams is not a guest okay gevalde oh wait a minute we have who's this starting next to you Lauren they spilled coffee all over him I saw I mean we're not gonna show it in cheer but I saw you try to get up that sidewalk and what all right uh I have a beautiful um oh no he's not a guest even know him from Manchester what it's not what time this is your first time here no no fourth time here revoice to this video I was extremely emotional it's very personal to me I don't know if you will be as emotional as me for sure not but I think there's something special over here this is a big time his name is lubelski he came to the sheer once from I think Manchester he used to work full time he watched uh the meaningful people episode and he said that he's very inspired by it I said over there that you know you don't have to work that much 10 hours a day so he actually literally took it to heart he put Less hours of work in and became a Maggie cheer in Yiddish to the point that now he has maybe a thousand tell me them or so either this you know you're right so and he came here to thank me he said it was because of you you inspired me I'm doing and you have a skills in these things a boy said here's a beautiful video that he sent me yesterday marriage last night full volume please and I want to thank you Seltzer I asked him to put the captions on late last night and he didn't manage in no time here it goes that's what I wanted to thank you once again [Music] we are the over 100 people by the CM and the whole only started because it got inspired from your interview you had with the meaningful people because I wasn't planning on sending an email or sending a video clip now thing yesterday I came home from Mexico and as I always do I go to my mother's Cavern is I took notes of it but okay big deal maybe that's your mother so I drove back up the hill and I checked I said in the attackers so double check further to ask around about your mother and I found out yeah it turns out that our mothers are three rows apart your mother my mother in the whole Bible three rows apart is who knows of the my inspiration I got from you is has been orchested by our mothers Urban and him is [Music] I was just a little wow oh you guys I I wasn't sure I thought I felt stupid showing it okay looks a lot of times people ask me what do you think what's yours I don't have school like I'm a regular ballot boss I thought my father you know he's a huge learner my mother was she's a she's a very special person but this gave me like a little bit of wait a minute maybe she's up there she's piling guys my name is Russell Rosenfeld the one in the blue sweatshirt wow and I met you at the same by the white show I started doing the dive with broadcast when my friend started what the WhatsApp chat just do it I got pressured into it all the cool kids were doing it I'm not a big learner and some acceptance are easier than others but the ones that are hard make me double think as to why I'm doing this to make a long story short the middle of the dorm is about to throw in the towels or anything that's getting anything out of it and somehow I found you sheer since then I've been enjoying the dot learning and most of all retaining I love the emails illustrations the jokes the way you give over the sheer I'm in this until the animation thank you for all that you do wishing well PS I wanted to ask you a question the white show maybe he wants to he wants to know who what Yoshi looks like much love you stood in Forever Russell Rosenfeld Woodmere this is fear of nachmanin two people sent in two videos of stores one is Bingo and one is Evergreen and listen to what they're playing on the loudspeakers in the stores both the same song we're in Bingo listen to what they're playing foreign [Music] okay and here's another one this is an evergreen we need a little bit more value Maybe [Music] you know what this is you're not going to believe it for all the talking and all the hacking in middle of this year Dr Avi Factor one a 100 000 safer Tire last night and guess what he did he took the cash the Meister Rabbi apparently you're giving myself I was wondering how can we're not getting anything from you pumping everything together my voice I I want to give a cars a toy the Jewish press front page of the Jewish press the story about New York this might be the very first time in divach that they have somebody that doesn't have a beard in there usually it's doylem and rabbis and this is an unbelievable article I read it this morning unfortunately this year's going to be a little schwack I got so into it this these guys in moments here this is the the magazine Yiddish unbelievable how they wrote the story about the Borough Park scene the Muncie see him here's the writer um what's his name Mendel Mendel Unger and Israel seriously unbelievable writers and finally tonight is at 1am here in the basement aleph because we're continuing David at 10 o'clock I have to do it again to record it but we'll be at 11 p.m and reminder to the island to make it here uh yasi what's his name again the there is a chance in the morning and the editor won't be here he will be sloven he has two Shields take care of the kylo sponsored by Anonymous from Lakewood to thank Hashem that I'm able to think of everything that I have the part of this leadership with a goal of 500 participants so men the learner asked me if we could do something to spice up the zoom a little bit we used to have hundreds of people now live down to about a hundred so I thought we'll try something out we'll try it today and hopefully it'll work and hopefully I Remember by the Turning of the daf maybe it will go live to one person on Zoom just get his name number just to bring in people from around the world and if they it might encourage people to to watch it live on Zoom because huh Gary's on Zoom no no we want we're going to get men to learn amazing congregation honoring the Inspire my parents to the project 300 free stickers to help have come on uh that of the month for complete reforms here we go middle of a beautiful soul yo we kind of ran through it you know what and look how much was let me just throw out this very very short vart that the question is I didn't say I was so excited about the video it's called kabola Satora right she was saying does he give it or we take it so the katsukareba says gives it but the question is how much do we take how much everybody can take as much as they want so it's like more so let's take less so as we come into cabal Satora we should as much as we can and so we could start small if we're doing the daf we can add five minutes five minutes of tire for the next year and a big part of the issue I think is that people always have these baggage they have baggage different things that they feel that they maybe did in life a different Avera or whatever's holding them back and the idea is no every year we start over it's Mata Cabello started all over again whatever happened in the past is in the past we look forward without any sort of insecurities and problems like that we go right there so we're holding like this called palgino Di buret right over here so unfortunately I didn't think about this yesterday so the art is just stefansky art nothing uh high-tech and the question is if we do something like this could we split and say we're gonna go with part of the words on the right and we're not going to take the words on the left he said one sentence if he says he tells a slave you could be kind of yourself with all of my possessions so what we do is we say yes I know why because he actually said two different statements it's two words one sentence but it's two separate statements you could be kind of yourself thank you I don't know before I was like okay the claim you Seltzer is in the house for the um captions and sphere that's right 49 days of spirit that's starting to find how many people did Sphero because last time you said that the big bad things whatever people can okay we'll talk about different yeah exactly nice nice yourself nice no one doesn't know what's going on because he wasn't at the same but it was a good joke Cole Cole now I saw you looking like this okay this is the gamar's question again if he says means yourself so he's calling himself oh let's explain himself he could be kind of why because it's similar to a get of a woman that all you need you believe him you believe this you believe the woman so she's he's believed is monetary value and for that you need to weigh them so a single person is not believed to say oh he gave me all his possessions he gave me 25 million dollars no we're not going to believe it you need two people what happens if a person writes he says that's what we're holding right now so everybody wanted to say I'm sorry not late in the beginning he said we don't we believe everything we don't believe anything Robert says no you could split call the Jose you could so we believe half of it we believe that the slave is free we don't believe him for than a Hustle so now we're let's just go back a little bit three lines in the bottom left base kiman who did Rover say this idea that we could split the words split a sentence you could split a sentence if a person tells his slave call in the closet he goes out she is but it however if he says if he he writes that there's one tiny piece of karka one possession somewhere then I'm not going to give the slave loyal if he's already holding back something I need to be concerned that he's also withholding the slave and if if a slave is withheld then the slave who's still a slave cannot be cut into anything he gets zero so why did he say it to make him feel good it's a really good feeling the thing you're getting 25 million dollars and yourself only to find out you get zero okay that's what he wanted to do rips so if we stop right over here here's the sheet of shiman holds that even if he sets aside a piece of land and he says you you get 100 of everything besides a little piece of land and I don't know where the piece of land is so it could be Manhattan it could be in bed Shemesh it could be in Brooklyn it could be anywhere the guy has land everywhere he's a big Real Estate Mogul I don't know what he meant he didn't specify so I can't give David land I don't know is it very valuable is it not so valuable which piece of land since he didn't specify I can't give him land but I could give him himself what is that called since he said I'm Giving You Everything But at the end of the day he doesn't get everything because I don't know which piece of land to give him some mailer and he gets himself the top words and he gets himself he gets himself but he doesn't get land so it's I'm splitting his words I didn't I didn't listen to the to the to the master 100 okay so here's cheetah's room now we keep on going soon unless he says I'm giving you um besides one ten thousandth even though Rashi says the slave is worth a million dollars but it's included it might be that he meant you to me to me you're only worth one ten thousandth of everything I own MMA look that in that case he doesn't get it he doesn't get himself but if he doesn't say he gets himself he gets himself but he doesn't get real estate okay I know what you're about to ask I have the same issue tysus they thought what are you asking let's hear it I don't want to guess who you're asking oh very good that's not places that was more of my question yes and the uh it's a good I like the cash I don't know exactly I don't he wants to know at the end of the day it's a technical thing it's like he really does get everything just one piece of character just I don't know where it is it's like okay I can't get there because I can't I can't find the flight to get there but at the end of the day he gets it I just don't know which one it's not plugging as much if you say okay fine I struggle with that also fine in a second no that's a different guitar I think you're confusing in a second oh you're saying the same savara timeout he gets himself right so we're not talking about cruises though he gets himself he just doesn't get a piece of property you know what I'm saying so that's that's the next song you're talking about it says my hair the Allah so if that's the case we have a little bit of a problem how in the world would rather say that Allah we just said Robert says he split his words he goes like Rip shiman but we don't pass he gave him a lot of a lot of uh a lot of praise but it's not enough does not like it is you have to kiss him he said he's saying true things some explain they kiss him on the lips and shiroshima says the Deborah when he was giving the tiger came and he took the words and they brought it to the people and they said macabo this these are you these are the halachas this is and when they said yes so the words went on them it's like the Bruno Pals that they were cable it's like the words kiss their mouth okay give him a kiss is so beautiful but nevertheless I like him it's great but that love is not like him love is not not like him so what what is like the other mayor who says we don't divide the words so why would Robert say we divide the guy's words when the guy says everything to you slave and we we separate we said is not believed on himself he is believed not foreign [Music] everything goes back to the original besides the evidence so if we stop right here what is that called right again we're splitting slave not look awesome Yes it goes or forget a slave he he's crying himself look awesome he's knocking on himself okay when uh Division I have that a little later but I'll show it over here maybe here one of the guys on his deathbed we say whatever he says goes why we don't want to select the tires you shouldn't become a little machine from today so this special look we don't want to to go crazy that when I listen we listen whatever he says goes but the Avid remains free why is listen if a guy becomes Jewish you can't undo him he's a Jew finish this is just because he he you know the the guy healed afterwards that's it once he's a Jewish Jew a guy let Marshall you look at me a guy says this man it's a famous thing a guy with you want to become uh whatever whatever the religion we're not going to say he goes becomes a night stream but the guy says the priest tells him unconditioned that you don't need to feel division fine how can I not even filter fish so one day Friday night the the priest comes in he sees the meeting and fill the fish I told you this he says it's not get filter fish I put some water I went like this it's it's shown it's something else you can't do that right so when again when a person becomes Jewish he's Jewish so in Layla so again you can ask me right no it's technical he should have got everything back it's not talking about everything back it is it is thank you okay says the guitar like this hello murovashi the reason Sesame let's just say about that the reason why our mayor says that uh the slave is not coined himself an anonymous base when he says it only applies to it doesn't you can't get yourself back but not the cause you don't get anything back why it's not because for another reason don't bring me a ride there's no red mayor in other words we remember never said anywhere we just said that it doesn't work by a slave if he comes and he says my master said you get everything so we don't say okay get yourself but not everything why not because of Life another Allah the reason is because of crisis in the lab Cruz so real quickly oh here goes it says in the past segment we're going to see this throughout the encephalon because of Allah safer crystals that's the positive I get save your crystals it has to be Dover Aquarius be not living no it has to be a real split if a man tells his wife Austin tells his wife I'm divorcing you on condition you don't drink wine for the rest of your life it's not a gift it's not a gut why because For the Rest of life she's tied to him in one way and drinking white it's not a good has to be a complete gut now there's two words love one the word lung green by savior cruises because I've lost seven crisis and also says by slave so that's the famous we learn oxyva a woman to a slave MMA just like by a woman there's a problem of Crisis you're cutting it it's it's it's done so two by and never if that's what Rahman was saying before what's going on upstairs you're not supposed to be looking from up there you're supposed to look at the screen okay Tommy you're not listening to you're writing stuff what are you writing you're for sure now I'm writing what I'm saying where where are the chairs let's see it right these people standing and nobody should be standing who's standing ah come over nobody wants to sit over there from the Benny come come Donnie why don't you sit over there and let the guy sit in your seat okay now there's a big mahuma well done thank you mdy so Papa this pushing this only standing remote we like it when they stand a little bit okay the bottom line is where boys we lost Focus here for a second the idea is just like by a woman you can't divorce her and say she can't drink wine for the rest of her life so too by slave if you say that there's some sort of property somewhere something that doesn't belong to him then it's not a full crisis it has to be crisis that's why it doesn't work by a slave not because of the Buddha don't get involved has to do with not a Christos and with this we're done for this so again for now if there is somebody that protests to get you have to be mikaime you have to say who are they them let's see could they in themselves the sign they get because they show up does anybody recognize the signatures says how many people are protesting it's one person tonight you need at least two says right I don't know where it is somewhere he says we're talking about this two witnesses that say this is not a good get Trey training new it's two against two my husband is so if you have two guns too what happens the woman goes back to what her original state was and she's uh hello you're the bow huh yeah okay one of the inside rights two against two and the star the star is nothing the get is nothing and she remains she says anymore what happened was we have the husband the husband's different so for this Yoshi did a stickle thing for you if you're not from don't look uh-oh value before I knocked down fake news I never saw this man in my life okay advisor okay hold on because people are laughing foreign [Music] fake news I never saw this man in my life all right good says that say s what what the second time is even better that's why I shot it no because he's able to hear his action no this is very important foreign [Music] so we just use the witnesses to testify about the signatures either it's there so they they recognize it great about them now when it comes to the the get of a woman and the get shikr of an avid both of them need believe it or not you have to write the shikuru star to is it permitted it's a little corny is it permitted to learn music from a woman so he says what is the guy in Avid so nobody knew what he's talking about he explained afterwards you learn only evid learns music from a woman okay fine listen even it's corny some people left for those listen I learned the very very important thing seriously when I when I was in Lakewood and Biden was falling down the steps and I said this the other day in in Far Rockaway in the white Jewel Biden didn't fall yet Biden was walking towards the steps and the crowd is on the they knew what was going to happen they're on the floor the line I could show you the the clip of them laughing like crazy and when he fell some people bursted it's like crazy come to Lakewood so either they sought already like they watched the they before but I doubt it not everybody just nothing they see a guy walking the stairs he tripped a little bit he went right there nothing no no so I learned like this there could be jokes I say here a joke and you guys look at me like this but the somebody's somewhere in this dining room that's on the floor rolling that's the okay fine foreign that talk about the things that are similar between women the get of a woman and the get of the event what does it mean he can't speak what happened to him if he's talking about a person who's born deaf mute so he doesn't have say hello here we again will show once we're there why not this is how we depict Harris he doesn't have a mouth and doesn't have ears I'm just laughing here because in the sheer in New York we read this gimbara I asked the question how's it possible that a person was 100 normal and he gave her a get and within 10 seconds before he he couldn't even say the words like his big liar I found another one of them and he became a deaf mute how's it possible and I let out a scream I'm not going to do it here I said what happened was the the guy gives a get to the woman she opens it up she sees get and she goes ah and then like that that just made him deaf on the spot that's what that was the mindset but I did so loud that Gary almost fell off his chair and he held his ears for like the next four minutes okay foreign wrote on it wrote his signed his name is this is how Yoshi drew a KUSI the the kusum our nation that came into Israel the food does whatever the a big maclag is throughout chess arkusen Gary Ms or Gary arise here in their soul they live in hargreason this is a real picture they celebrate they celebrate Corbin pesach and we're going to talk about them a little bit more tomorrow the problem is that there are a lot of things that they don't keep at all they don't believe in third and we have major issues with them so if akusi writes and they have a whole community at the MSN higher griezen we took harcinai they said hargreizium is where the brochus were they took us that's their mouth and they actually live by grieza hey so if akusi signs his name on a get can explain that there's a Jew with him when it comes to get the two the two Siamese the two guys signing their name they have to be there so the Jew is going to testify basically that the KUSI is a good guy sometimes they're good sometimes that go out in a in a non-jewish courtroom right imagine you buy real estate in America you're doing it in a non-jewish court you can have non-jewish witnesses so it says because I've lost seven cruises thank you the only people that could have to do with a get are people that could write again since if you're Apostle you can't write a get so you can't be there by the nasina either but when it comes to real estate when it comes to dinner momentous Rashi says all the nations all the nations have to have court systems it's part of their Mitzvah so they're in the Parsha of Mama's sponsored by the Freeman Family for our sisters you want to do it should we try it real quick even though we only have six minutes let's try it see how long this lasts to last a day great at least we get to meet men the learner Redman the learner how are you what's your name and where are you from I wish I could mute that I live in Border park my I'm on the game every night because of that I was able to not miss adapt since you don't survives I mean especially appreciate that belly comes out to the zoom every single day after this year sitting on the zoom is like having a front row seat this year probably a better seat than not concelsea has wow wow [Applause] thank you all right robot Young's the rally Hotel Upstate so if anybody wants a place all right subscribe remember to learn it let's see what happens maybe more people will join Zoom okay we gotta go says gimoro okay there are four things that are similar we're gonna get and again if a person says give this to my wife give this to my slave I want him to be free mayor so we're talking about if somebody is receiving the get of a woman for the woman without her knowledge he'll accept it he's flying there so hey he goes to the airport you're going to tell yourself please take this gift from my wife for the wife without the wife knowing and what about the slave the slave wants to be free so this is over here for me I'm arguing they say well for a woman it's a hive for a Avid it's a big sauce to be free so you could accept it for him by the way the the women that are waiting for get for 20 years they're dying to get divorced they finally get divorced did they make a brother is no but on a slave yes although there's a there's a there's a Vitz that I heard from the South America Rebel that uh he asked somebody how come you don't come to show he says I'm very embarrassed I got divorced I don't I can't show my face in Soul he says are you kidding me you come to show everybody's gonna be jealous of you what's it to be embarrassed okay to fit it's it's a fight I think he's trying to make the guy feel good okay foreign yes he did that he did that part but now there's also a receiver is it too late the woman receive it and he can't retract once I give it to the street I have to go of course I could I could take it back I could take it back why not that's a different thing I don't think I think I think it's talking about the guy receiving we're talking about in front of look look at Rashi go look around foreign I can't do tens all share long one is a joke one is the message [Music] okay so [Music] I know how to count to three even though I went to panovich so why does the mission have to say there's three what do I have to say the Mario has to say three to teach us that it's not four remains fourth element what does he have to say it's four there's four things that are similar between a get in a in heaven and we're gonna have the good morning now there's a bunch of things that it could be that they're similar but they're not the world very interesting a guy is illiterate he doesn't know how to sign his own name um according to Russia H his name and he fills it up with ink how's that a signature how could it be requirement later on okay they're starting to talk about it according to taiswas it means that you you make a mold and you put his and he fills out the mold it's interesting because there are people that wanted to do that for children imagine you have a mold exactly the most beautiful stencil not stencil like you like a stencil where you just fill in the poor the ink would be awesome and you fill in exactly the way it is you can make your own filling in 10 minutes save a lot of money buy a piece of pie you're gonna be beautiful you did your own savior so the the development of Our Generation said you shouldn't do it it'll bring for people Forge and this net okay imagine you could do it would be great so um so if a guy is leaving quickly to out of the country let's bring these Adam and even though they don't know how to sign their name or he's about to die he doesn't want his wife to to fall evil let's bring him in obviously says this works for both a get an avid so we have something similar says no it only works for a woman called stories they must be literate them lives they can't write their own name and Heisman we're talking about signing it why do you stick in the word they know how to read who cares about reading because sorry Maxwell you're right there's a couple words missing first they have to know how to read if they don't know how to read what the what the signing on you have to explain to them what's going on and if they don't know how to sign then you etch it according to Rashi great the sulekho there's nothing else that's similar between a get of a woman and an event both and he dies you shouldn't give it to him after he dies so we have to see rash here Rashid says rashif I feel like is this the case that's what happened no I don't think this is amazing thing listen to this for the other person I'm allowed to be something for them and I want to be done for him this is rational unbelievable be the mother called him you know what's going on here I am accepting the get she her first slave on behalf of him it's his but it's not his completely to make him he doesn't get free until he actually receives it in his hand just thought it's important to see that ratchet inside um by the way it's time I'm going back for a second because I forgot to tell the island when you go to Africa and you fill in those letters it's very passive those letters are already kosher even though they're not completely full if they have the outline around so if you want to really really be sorry in the Mitzvah of writing a letter you have to make sure that the letter is broken like it's a puzzle letter but if he did a complete race all the way around you just fill in the middle yes that you weren't United okay fine foreign [Music] so we're only saying things that are different between a get and a star but not not uh this this doesn't apply by Star by the way Starbucks because we're talking about uh swoos here there is no swarm there are no swarm you should just understand when a person dies there are no sparm in Sherman zero you can't go to the Bookshelf and open up you can't open up your xiaomi so whatever you accomplish in this world that's what you're gonna learn over there and it's gazillion years so if you only learn one SEPTA you're gonna be learning woman sector for gazillion years so we should brush up on more stuff pull out more sparm learn more your xiaomi give out it doesn't work like me it's like the Mars is over here [Music] so when he says about pair it works but if he says write it in writing this idea this concept that a shimmer could do whatever he wants and say whatever he wants it doesn't work because we see that he wants it done in a certain fashion writing so if he says write and give this piece of land to so and so and then he dies any questions you don't give him the piece of land maybe he meant I'm not a swimmer right now I want it in the stars and doesn't work fun so you see that there is no difference between muminous and a woman and an event all three you can't do after miso but it was small but the concept of writing a get and it gets cheaper with intent of the person only applies to a woman in the heaven so that's something that's similar especially that is in the mishnah we said that when you bring for marriage destroy take out Israel you have to do this right back to this and I got a number of emails that you hey rabba and we're saying kadish so it's a way to remember rabba is Shema is okay fine we did like this Rabbi I didn't know how to do it so I did hey hey I know it says without and it's in the emails also he said even though but we say it is the problem is hey them we have to find Aiden that's that's a that's something that's that's that's only applies to get in a woman and uh Evan but soon but if you have to do another action in between to write to be coated and give that doesn't work but in other stars you could buy real estate and write it on the Stars that's foreign MMA law will continue the Soviet tonight boys have a great yantev have a wonderful day
