A Warm Welcome Can Change a World

I'll tell you the story about my khavrusa's grandfather, who wasn't call him somebody didn't know how to read even, you know, he's not holding on a drag. And when he had to say kaddish, he came to shul and somebody walked over to him in shul and was very nice to him. Very nice to him. Gave him a siddur and said, "Let me help you out. Let me show you where it says [music] it and now you should say it." And he stood there and helped him out. And that gave him an unbelievable feeling of of of belonging and he kept on going to that shul and he became frum. And then he had his son and then a grandson. Rebby Didi [music] Kramer who made a chassan tonight who happens to be my khavrusa and has a big big part in the shiur, pushing me to start this shiur and everything. Maybe the whole shiur is because of that one guy in the shul who came and gave chizuk to this guy. We have a shiur in Reb Melech Chamesh. I know the guys do a phenomenal job. We could do even better. Give Give kavod to the guests. Just whatever like over here. Achainu Bnei Yisrael Um Shalom Aleichem, where you come where do you live? And they do it. I see it I see it with my own eyes every day. They give him a Gemara. This guy gives him a Gemara. This guy says Shalom Aleichem. And they are B'frat it sticks out cuz like when I come he Shalom Aleichem, what's your name? Where are you from? And then we have a special guest [music] table. Make the guys feel good. I know of shuls people say, "I go into shul nobody says Shalom Aleichem. Nobody says good Shabbos to me." They'll say that. I hear that all the time. There's shuls like this. There's shuls like this. There's no reason. It It takes 5 [music] seconds, 10 seconds. Shalom Aleichem, nice smile, you keep on walking but the guy feels like a million dollars. >> That's [music] a great shiur, Rebby. >> Oh, thank you so much.
